Our college provides good infrastructure.

Placements: Many students got placed in our college. Many reputed companies visit our college and offer placements. Many seniors got the highest salary packages. The salary packages are high.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. All facilities are available in our college. Our college provides Wi-Fi. It has a huge library and air-conditioned classrooms. We have a good lab, a huge playground, a basketball ground, and a gym. The hostel is anti-ragging. It provides all food items.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are well-qualified. They teach well. They have great teaching abilities. They are friendly and very calm. The syllabus is well-maintained. It makes students ready for the industry. Semester examinations are a bit difficult. Our college is under MAKAUT.

Our college provides good facilities and placements.

Placements: Placements are offered in our course. Almost 85%-88% of students got placed in this course. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Neo Metallics, Yazaki India Limited, Tata Group of Industries, etc. The top role offered is diploma project head engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college has all facilities. It has good classrooms for studying. All laboratories are well-equipped. It also has a huge library, and several books are available. Wi-Fi is also enabled. It also has a gym for students. Playgrounds are also available for outdoor sports. Hostel rooms are good. It also has a good water supply. The food served in the canteen is excellent.

Faculty: All teachers are well-educated and have master's degrees. Their behaviour is very good. They are also helpful. They teach us in Bengali, Hindi, and English so that all students from different states can understand the topics well. The course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate, but we need to study well to pass them.

Other: Since childhood, I have wanted to learn mechanical engineering, so I chose this course. It is one of the best colleges in West Bengal to learn the course. After completing this degree, many students got good jobs. The course curriculum is very good for getting industrial knowledge. Events and fests are conducted at our college.

Review of Dr. B.C. Roy Polytechnic.

Placements: It has one of the best placements in the entire Durgapur. Almost 97% of students were placed in reupdated companies like L&T, Sigma, etc. This college provides good connections with companies.

Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi was not enabled, but laboratories, classrooms, libraries, and everything were provided. It provides good ground and a fine view from the rooftop so I would recommend students. The food served in hostel was not good.

Faculty: Teachers were qualified, but they were strict also. They will make the student industry ready for all kinds of programs, and they will make students visit industry and internships. They will give students the best experience in hand, and they will also try to provide best they have.

Other: This college had the best connectivity from Vidhan Nagar just one auto and crowd life was an average type. Students might get nasty here due to their cultural difference and the fests were average, not to expect more from this college just study and take a job.

It is a good polytechnic college in Durgapur.

Placements: Some companies like L&T and Tata Power visited here, but just minor students get placed. However, rather than that, most of the students get placed, and salaries offered range between Rs. 12,000-24,000 per month.

Infrastructure: There are smart classrooms here, and Wi-Fi is available only for teachers. However, students can use hostel Wi-Fi. Our college is currently in development, and on the 3rd floor maybe it will introduce some good things. In the canteen, meals are not much great, and also they don't allow students to go out in lunch break. Due to the pandemic, laboratory classes are not conducted, and maybe this can cause trouble in future.

Faculty: Most of the teachers here are really good, helpful and sometimes engaging. But some teachers are bad. You will get opportunities, but it depends on you how much you are passionate about things. During exams, guarding is strict, and there will be 2-3 teachers in a class to check exams.

Other: Events or fests are organised here.

Placements: If you want to pursue diploma courses in any field, i.e., mechanical, electrical, civil, computer in Durgapur, I shall recommend you to join Dr. B.C. Roy Polytechnic, which is situated in the heart of Durgapur. I recommend this college because of its staff members support, experienced teachers, huge campus and mostly best placements in major manufacturing industries like Tata Power, Capgemini, Bosch, L&T, SEW and many others. I can proudly say our college has 99% placements record this year with most recruitment from the mechanical branch.

Infrastructure: Dr. B.C. Roy Polytechnic campus has been equipped with a fast working Wi-Fi network. There is a huge and spacious library with air-conditioners where students can get all types of books for their need according to their syllabus. This college also has a fully functional gym with most machines for workout and fitness, and it is allowed only for hostel students. The hostel mess and canteen provided by management are very hygienic and diverse in context of food availability of different types.

Faculty: Teachers here are very supportive, and they all are very supportive. They have a good and vast knowledge of their subject due to which our college has been maintaining its academic and placement records for many years. Overall, our college has teachers with good qualification and better student understanding concepts. Teachers will coordinate with students and solve their confusion related to any topic to make them industry-ready. Practical labs also play a very important deep role to make them industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I was very keen to know more about how mechanical equipment like lathe machine works and the principle behind it. I am also very connected to this type of information. So after my higher secondary, I got admission in the mechanical department at Dr. Bc Roy Polytechnic. Now I am in last year of the last semester of my 3-year. I will remember every good memory when I will be passed out of it. Our college organises amazing science fest, many thoughtful events and extracurricular activities like singing competition, art competition, sports, etc.
