Review of North Calcutta Polytechnic College.

Placements: Approximately 80% of students are placed. The highest package is 2.4 LPA, the average package is 1.8 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.2 LPA. Larson and turbo, ITD cementation, Bajaj auto limited, schwing Stetter India Pvt Ltd, and Cummins India, are the recruiting companies. About 80% of students got an internship. A diploma in mechanical engineering and a diploma in electrical engineering are the courses offered.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good and excellent. Our mechanical engineering lab has a very excellent infrastructure. The library is fine. Our college has no hostel, but near the college many messes are available. Here mess quality is very good and clean. The monthly average mess rent is Rs.5000 per head.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and they are very talented and genius. They are very friendly and helpful and our teaching quality is good. This course makes the student industry ready for a job industry. The semester-exam question is very tough, but the question is not theoretical. The pass percentage is 96%.

Other: I am very interested in Mechanical engineering so I chose this course. I wish our course improves, 6 months is very less to complete the syllabus.

North Calcutta Polytechnic is the best college.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in our course. Our college is a government college, that's why the average package offered in our course is 5,000. The top recruiting companies of our course are Tata Steel, Honda etc. 90% of students got internships from our course and in high-rated companies.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are very good. Wi-Fi is available in our college with high-speed. Labs and classrooms are very good, and a library is available in our college all time. The quality of food available is very good. A canteen is available. Medical facilities are available all time.

Faculty: The teachers for our course are very helpful to us. They help us in any condition. They are well qualified and highly knowledgeable. In every semester, an industrial visit is organised by our department which helps us get ready for the industry. The pass percentage is 95%.

The infrastructure is good and facilities are fine in our college.

Placements: I passed out in the year 2015. Most of my classmates got selected for jobs in different companies. The highest salary package offered was 2.80 LPA. It was from Ashok Leyland an MNC. Various other companies like Simplex Infrastructures Ltd, Gamon India Ltd, Bridge and Roof Ltd, Wipro, and TCS were for computer science students. Voltas Ltd for electrical students also came for placement offers. It was a memorable year for all of us.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms were excellent. In our library, we got study materials and books for better learning. The canteen facility was better than average. During the break hours, table tennis and a carrom board were available in the indoor common room. We also have a cricket team consisting of senior and junior students. We participated in many local tournaments.

Faculty: Our teachers were extremely helpful to us. In the semester exam, they were very strict about attendance. Results were out according to the academic year routine. At the annual fest, they congratulate the top students according to their respective fields of study.

Other: Mechanical engineering is the mother of all engineering courses. You have to study all the basic subjects covered by other related courses.
