Good college for the course B.A. social work hons in Delhi university.
Placements: There is a one month placement in second year as well as field work placement throughout the course for social work students. We can choose where to do our placement for one month even somewhere out of the university campus.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility for boys and girls but PGs are available nearby but the surroundings and place near college is not safe for students. It is better to take residence in North campus and come to Dr bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi Gokul puri.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and well experienced most of the faculty members have Ph.D. They are also very approachable and punctual faculty members. We have college supervisor to guide and place in field work agencies in social work department at Dr bhim Rao Ambedkar college university of Delhi Gokul puri .

Review of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. Recruiters can be from the social work background like UNESCO, UNICEF, and other NGOs from the country itself. Internships are provided to almost every student for the fieldwork setting for which students are placed in various NGOs in Delhi itself. The basic roles provided are of social work trainee.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available are Wi-Fi on the campus, a library, classes for various subjects, and a library is also available. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel facilities, but there is a student mess, canteens, for the physical fitness. There are playgrounds and various games are available.
Faculty: Almost every teacher has their doctorate done in their specific subject i.e. social work. Teachers are very helpful and qualified, they have deep knowledge and understanding about their subjects. It makes and guides students to become professional social workers. The exams are not difficult to pass, almost 90% of students passed the exams.
Other: I opted for this course because it helps students to grow professionally while learning various skills like leadership, communication, interviewing, counseling essential to being a social worker. For the betterment of the course, there must be more focus on the fieldwork part. Various events are held like freshers, farewell, and other orientation programs are organised. The campus is very beautiful. Extracurricular activities include NCC, NSS, dancing, singing, sports, and other activities.

Happy to choose this subject because of faculty, I am quite dissatisfied with college placements.
Placements: From our first year itself we are placed in different agency so other we need to make good relations, lean proficiencies, professionalism etc. , Which help us in growing and building ourselves while reaching the final sem. We are quite well trained of it.
Infrastructure: We had a good and beautiful infrastructure contains all necessary rooms like sports, library and others whereas we have ncc also in our college. It's just lagging behind for the area. Moving further this college Don't have hostel facility.
Faculty: Almost all our teachers are Ph.D. holders. They all are soo enthusiastic and experienced that they know that whom to handle and how. This course curriculum is so relevant that it makes student industry ready and while reaching the final year students are professionally trained.
Other: There should be tie up with new and large companies for the placements after graduation.

This college is absolutely satisfactory.
Placements: The placement faculty members in our college are good. More than 85% of the students got placements within the time period of 3 months in the 3rd year of the social work course. The salary offered here is about Rs. 30,000-35,000 per month, and you'll get 2%-5% of increment per year on that salary. You'll also get a bonus from the company only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch here. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College is among the top 10 colleges of DU, and it has the best infrastructure and hostel service. Classrooms are huge enough to accommodate more than 60-80 students at a time, and still, there will be enough space to roam in the classrooms. Our college has a huge hostel, and it is situated near the college only.
Faculty: Teachers here are super humble and loving. They are always ready to help us in any case. No matter whatever students do, teachers give their 100% in solving their issues. Students become industry-ready and perfectly trained to do fieldwork with others.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to serve my country and my state. I want people to get empowered.

After the 4th semester, students are eligible for placements.
Placements: The placement record of Bhim Rao College is good. Most of the students get jobs from our college through on-campus placements with the help of the placement cell. Overall, placements are good here, and the average salary package offered is also good.
Infrastructure: Our college is good in terms of faculty members and infrastructure. Moreover, the food served in the canteen is also good, and our college is pretty decent. But campus life is not satisfactory. However, the quality of education provided is good, and it is a great college for a B.A programme. The library has top-class facilities and all types of books of subjects. Our college provides a lot of extra books also. Sports facilities available here provide a refreshing environment daily. The equipment is available for sports like cricket, basketball, archery, running, kabaddi, football and many more. For extracurricular activities, there are a cultural society, dance society, drama society, NCC, NSS, etc.
Faculty: The course is very high, and it has lots of theoretical knowledge with some practical knowledge. Faculty members of our course in our college are very good and are supportive. This course is good for students who want to do extra professional courses like CA and CS. Social work is also good in this college as it is a professional course.
Other: Many types of events are organised in our college on a monthly basis or entity basis. Our college also conducts seminars on social welfare and fest in the month of February every year where many celebrities visit to perform.

The infrastructure is good, but I'm dissatisfied with the surroundings of the college and crowd.
Placements: The placements are almost nil. The college provides only a few placement opportunities for the students after their graduation, but the students have a lot of job opportunities after the completion of masters in the same field. Companies that visit the campus only hire a few students. There is no placement cell, but the auditorium is available to take care of the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best among all the colleges in Delhi. The campus is big and lush green, and there are all the necessary buildings, labs, library, medical centre, sports and games, cultural centre, a big auditorium, etc. The canteen offers delicious food. Classrooms are equipped with projector and screen but lack good furniture. The furniture looks like the furniture used in 1990. The college is having a central garden, rose garden, open gym, and a different yoga place.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified, and almost all of them have completed their PhDs. The quality of teaching varies from teacher to teacher. Some are still using old methods of teaching, and some make their subject very interesting by teaching in different and new methods. The student to faculty ratio is 30:1.
Other: The college organises its own annual fest named Chetna in February. The college freshers party, farewell party and departmental freshers party and farewell party are the main functions of the college. The surroundings of the college are not good at all. People with rural backgrounds live near the college. The connectivity isn't good, and the nearby metro station is 4-5 km away. But the good thing is that a new metro station which is located at a walkable distance has completed its construction, and it will start from the next month.

Bhim Rao Ambedkar college is the platform to grow.
Placements: The placements provided by the college are good. Many NGOs visit to offer the placements. Genpact is one of the companies which provide the placement. Catalyst Brac placement cell, a page on Facebook to provide information about the placement so that information can be easily accessible.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It is one of the topmost infrastructures in the University of Delhi. A good environment is provided by the infrastructure to study. The library is the best thing which can happen in the college. There are three floors including ground floor where the books can be easily accessed.
Faculty: The faculty in the college are art and commerce in which BA Hons social work is the course which provides the students to grow. Field work is the area where a social work student learns a lot. The ground gives the opportunity to fresh the mind and provides a refreshing feeling to focus on the study.
Other: Overall the college is good. There is Xerox facility, and the best thing is the canteen. The ground for the practice and playing is good. NCC and NSS are also provided in the college which provides a platform to grow, and there is also society and magazine Chetna for BSW.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 80 students were there in our batch. Almost all of them got internships. Since it is part of the curriculum so every one was supposed to do an internship in an associated organisation. The recruiting companies are affiliated or established NGOs.
Infrastructure: The facilities are moderate. There is an amazing library with a wide variety of books and a canteen with manageable food. Wi-Fi is available at the college. We have access to computer labs and other facilities but there is no such hostel accommodation.
Faculty: The faculty is truly amazing, qualified, and experienced. The course is practical and involves fieldwork experience as per the curriculum. The skills related to the industry are taught. The semester exam is easy and the pass percentage is forty percent aggregate.
Other: The campus is amazing and the crowd is also good, loud, and cheerful. The various societies help in character building and personality development.
