It is the best college we can get at DU.
Placements: Typically students from English hons do not go for campus placements but still, if we try like some of my friends can get an average package of 19 LPA (one of our seniors got it), I am not really sure about the lowest package but our extracurricular activities do play an important role in our placements. We have a placement cell in our college.
Infrastructure: Apart from the lack of air-conditioning in classes, the infrastructure is pretty good. Wi-Fi is smooth. Labs and the library have AC and are well-furnished. The hostel is nice, but the food is just average. We have a huge ground with a basketball court and a football field.
Faculty: Some teachers are really good, and make the academics part fun and worth it. The remaining teachers are just average. Semester exams are easy, although we need to read novels beforehand for a good CGPA. The pass percentage is high. If students love reading and want to be around people who think out of the box then this is the place as we discuss everything from politics to mythologies.
Other: Hindu College is one of the best colleges on the north campus. It is filled with lovely people and we always have something or the other thing to enjoy here. It is a hassle to maintain our CGPA and extracurricular activities simultaneously but it's worth it. The diversity here is so good, and every student is writing their own stories. Mecca is one of the best fest of DU and it is something we can be a part of it directly. I suggest students do not miss the chance to be part of this campus.

Review of Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Placements: Three types of companies visit for placements Dream tier, Tier 1, and Tier 2. The student intake is different every year. There are more placement opportunities for students from Science and Commerce backgrounds compared to Humanities. If we are lucky, we can secure good placements in our course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is good. Library is open from 9 AM to 7 PM. Classrooms in both blocks are also good. There are 2 canteens and several places to sit and hang out with friends. The girls' hostel is decent. Boys' hostel is still under construction. There are plenty of food options available both inside and around the campus.
Faculty: Some faculty members are amazing. They are always available to support us, while others are not. So, it completely depends on the professors we are assigned. Since the implementation of NEP, the syllabus has become vast. Apart from our core subjects, we will also study subjects from other disciplines.

Excellent faculty and vibrant college life.
Placements: In English Honours, there is a very low placements rate. However, due to the placements cell of the college, editorial groups bring in offers to hire freshers. Only 1-2 percent students get internships this way. The others find internships on their own. The top roles offered in my course are that of editor, journalist, content writer, novelist, writer, professor, researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: WiFi covers the whole of college area. The library is really good equipped with a vast variety of books for all the departments. The classrooms are pretty old in some blocks considering it's been 125 years since the college was built. There are no air conditioners in the classrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are really proficient in their subjects. They are very knowledgeable, helpful and always open to new doubts and interpretations. The course curriculum is according to NEP 2020. There are certain extra courses which are mandatory besides the core subjects. The exams are moderate to difficult.
Other: I've been passionate about literature since childhood. If the professors adopted a more feedback-based approach towards teaching, it would be better. There is an annual fest called Mecca which lasts for typically 2-3 days.

Top notch syllabus, faculty members, and good infrastructure.
Placements: The department of English at Hindu College does not offer a campus placement drive itself. However, you can register with the Placement Cell of the college, where a one-time payment might be required (a small amount). Moreover, any interview in which you appear gives you priority, as the college's name holds a lot for you. Most of the companies will be impressed by the alma mater, which will be a plus during your interview and induction. Though many of the students in our batch opted for further studies, a few who opted for jobs had been placed in top companies with good packages for beginners. Most of the companies they were recruited into used media or advertisements. Some have turned into the teaching sector as well, like the Teach for India organisation.
Infrastructure: You can enjoy a resourceful library in Hindi and an additional mini library for the Department of English . The classes happen in both the old building (with the legacy of Hinduism) and the new building. Free Wi-Fi is available inside campus. A well-maintained washroom is a plus I've seen in Hindu colleges, unlike other DU colleges. The college hostel admission is through the merit channel. 3 or 4 girls in each batch can get admission to the hostel. The old boys hostel has been demolished and the new one is under construction. Both affordable and premium stay options are available on the North Campus within walking distance in the form of paying guest accommodation, shared apartments or individual apartments.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in the department are either youngsters or experienced senior professors. Both are amazing, as the young faculty members are highly updated on the subject and sincere. The knowledge and experience of the senior professors are a plus. Most of the faculty members have been very polite and supportive of students, who have actually redefined professor-student commitment. The curriculum is CBCS (Choice-Based Credit System). As the course provided is an honors degree, it holds great value. Exams are conducted by DU mostly at the right time and the results are also published regularly. Although the pattern of the exam (memory and writing) does not improve the quality of the students in the course, the same pattern has been followed by most universities in India. However, the quality of the questions usually matches the course objectives and critical thinking. The syllabus offered by DU is one of the best in the country and most of the national-level tests on the subject are based on it.
Other: The English Honors course offered by DU not only teaches you literature but it's an all-rounder. The syllabus is pretty interesting because it skims over philosophy, history, politics, sociology, naturalism, etc. The course enhances your critical thinking abilities and by the time you graduate, you'll be a completely changed person in terms of your ideologies and perspectives. Apart from that, Hindu College is a very prestigious college in India that holds the top three ranks by NAAC every academic year and tops the Times of India ranking almost every year. You'll get to SEE ignited intellectual crowd here, involved in various active societies and clubs for your extracurricular curriculum. Mecca, the annual festival of Hindu College, is one of best festivals in India. The department festival Bacchanalia is also held every year with equal participation of students and faculty members. During our final year, the chief guest was director Imtiaz Ali, an alumnus of the department. If you find the right homies, Hindu will never disappoint you in terms of college experience. Apart from all these positives, slight administrative failures are contingent, as they usually happen in every college or university.

It's a really good option for fellow students to learn about yourself and your character.
Placements: Two people out of 50 got direct placements, and other placements are happening through different societies and cells. The Odisha Placement Cell and internship wing are active in college. So many opportunities are given to fellow students. There are different varieties of courses under perfect guidance and in the perfect place for career building and training opportunities.
Infrastructure: Almost all the facilities are on campus, including the biggest sports ground, a hostel both for men and women, a canteen as well as cafes, well-maintained libraries, above-average classrooms, a well-maintained garden, and a peaceful atmosphere.
Faculty: Teachers were absolutely fantastic, and the staff there were brilliantly trained as well as very good at communication and collaboration. They were more than teachers. They were like friends and were adaptive. They helped me a lot in changing my fixed perspective and opening vast opportunities and possibilities to my life. They influenced me a lot.
Other: One of the best colleges in DU.

The following table mentions a comparison between both these top colleges of DU for their undergraduate courses in the field of Arts and Humanities:
