Teaching staff, cleanliness, security, a library, and medical emergency services.

Placements: As for placements, the students were eligible from the beginning of the third year (5th semester). Our college has tried working with some good companies like TCS, UST, CTS, Infosys, Zoho, Wipro, and many more. The average package was 6 LPA and the highest was 30 LPA. 90% of the students got placed in our college each year. I was confident that before getting my degree, I would get placed, so after getting my degree, I would continue to work for a year, and after that, I had many other plans that weren't related to any IT department or software.

Infrastructure: There were not many festival events. Some of them were Navratri Dandiya, Diwali, etc. You could take any book from the library you just needed a library card. You could even take reference books and semester books. There were fair events for sports, but not many. The students got along fine.

Faculty: During my days in the first year, we were in the Science & Humanities department as we were first-year students. Faculty members were a bit strict at the beginning, but as time passed, they became friendly. And I should be very honest about this: when it came to teaching and training us, we had the best faculty members. We wrote two internal examinations before each semester. We wrote exams for 100 marks, both internal and semester exams. In each semester, we had both integrated and core subjects. If we fail in an integrated subject.

Most of the teachers at college try to teach as much as possible.

Placements: The chances and opportunities are maximum, as Upgrade has a great record of placement. The reputed companies like Microsoft, Cognizant, Swiggy, Paytm, American Express, Infosys, and Paytm hire from upgrade. Students can work with these companies and many others visiting the campus for a placement interview.

Infrastructure: We have two designed hostels: one is a DY Patil engineering hostel, and one is a DY Patil Medical College. The hostel is good with the facilities of 24-hour electricity and water supply. The one room is shared between two people; the fee of the engineering hostel is Rs. 37,000 excluding the mess. Whereas a medical hostel costs Rs. 90000 since it is well furnished with more facilities like Wi-Fi and laundry.

Faculty: A specially arranged course was there for the masters students in data science. For me, the starting of the course was very tough, as I had not much knowledge of this stream. The student's coordinators of the subject were assigned the task of solving the queries regarding courses. Also, the exams were taken online, and a certificate was provided by upgrade.

My DYP journey and experience.

Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in our course. The highest, lowest and average package are 7.5, 4.5 and 5.6 Lacs, respectively. Companies like Accenture, TCS, etc. are recruiting. Roles like data analyst, data engineer, data scientist, etc. are offered. Around 50% of the students got internship from our course.

Infrastructure: The facilities in our college or in our department are good. We have labs, classrooms, libraries and Wi-Fi for our study material. The infrastructure in a college or in a department is good. The quality of the facilities in our hostel and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen are really good and the activities, including sports and games, are well organized.

Faculty: The teachers were really helpful, qualified and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. This course is relevant and will make the students industry-ready. As the semester increases, the difficulty level also increases.

Other: I heard about good campuses and placements.

Best Data Science College.

Placements: Placements are good, but they declined from last year. Above 70% of students in our batch got jobs at top MNCs and startup companies. Infosys, TCS, Jio, IBM, Citibank, etc. are recruiting companies. Softtrine hires students as software engineer interns with a $15,000 stipend. The highest package is 13 LPAs. The roles offered are data analyst and data scientist.

Infrastructure: Dy Patil has a huge campus and good infrastructure. We have many colleges in one campus. In front of the main gate, we have a sports ground on which we have cricket, football, and basketball courts. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms and hostels. Our hostel is like a hotel; cleanliness is maintained daily. We have many food options outside the campus; we have many private messes. I suggest opting for a private mess, as they have tasty food.

Faculty: We have many teachers for our field. Teachers are very smart and knowledgeable. In our course, we have Python, R, Power BI, Advanced Excel, Tableau, etc., software that is used for analytics purposes. They are in demand in industries. Semester exams are divided into internal and external sections. For projects, the university gives equal weight.

Other: From the government and college, we got many scholarships, like the government-provided DBT scholarship.
