Best college I have ever studied.

Placements: 100% of students are placed in our course. The average package offered in our course is around 2.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies for our course are JSW, Tata Power, etc. The percentage of students get internships from our college is approximately 90%.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi but there are a lot of labs. We have a big library hall in our college. The quality of food in hostel is amazing. There is a ground in our college where the sports day has been held for many years by our faculty members and students.

Faculty: Teachers are so close to the students and help them when they need. They also teach us with very good knowledge. The semester exams are not so difficult because the topics we are taught by the teachers are common in the question paper, so they are easy for us.

Other: I chose this course because I just loved cars and other vehicles, and by studying in mechanical department I could know about them in detail.

I am highly satisfied because of the teachers and college environment.

Placements: In all terms, Dr Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is good. About 60% of the students get placed in our college. Top recruiting companies like Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum, etc., visit our college for placements. It provides many opportunities for students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our department are good. Labs and classrooms are large enough and clean. Wi-Fi facility is also available in the college, but all technical instruments are not available. The library facilities are good for students. The hostel facilities are average. The quality of food served in a mess is good. There is no canteen in our college, but many shops are available out of the college area.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are very helpful for every purpose. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students ready for industry. The pass percentage is 80%.

Other: It is a government college. For poor students, many facilities are available in this college. Scholarship facilities are also available in the college.

Overall, our college is good.

Placements: In Dr. MSIT College, around 60 to 80 seats are available for mechanical engineering every year. For freshers, the highest package offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, the lowest package is Rs. 10,000 per month, and the average salary is Rs. 12,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are TATA Group, Hyundai Motors, Yamaha, Infosys etc. 90% of students got internships. As our college is a government college, it helps poor students study engineering and become successful in life with a yearly fee of around Rs. 2,000.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are large and well-maintained. Electricity is available 24X7, but there is no Wi-Fi in our college because it is a government college, and the budget is not sufficient. Labs are good, but the technical equipment is average. The library is good, and it provides books to students every semester. Hostel facilities are average. The quality of food in the mess is good. There is no canteen in our college, but a lots of food stalls are available in our campus area. Sports and games facilities are not good.

Faculty: The teachers in our college are very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and some professors teach us in English, and some in Bengali and English. This course is curriculum-relevant. Our curriculum makes the students ready for industries.

I recommend taking admission to our college. Most students pass out successfully.

Placements: The best placements are available for Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. Many students get placed in companies such as Tata Steel, HPL, ECL, Mater Soon, Apollo Tyre, and JSW Steel. This year, 10 candidates who scored 80% got placed in the best companies.

Infrastructure: The hostel is the best and has been recently reviewed. Labs are of the best quality. In our hostel, the mess and canteen provide the best quality food service. Sports are organized twice a year, including annual sports, cricket, and football tournaments. Last year, we won a trophy for cricket in the annual sports.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful to every student. Teachers solve students' doubts. They work hard to prepare students for semester exams and interviews. In this course, students complete industrial internships for better placement opportunities. Most students qualify with 89%.

Other: Nice campus crowd.
