Absolutely loveable campus and peaceful nature.

Placements: Pursuing BBA degree in DG Vaishnav College Chennai 2025. During this year, our seniors got recruited in many MNC companies like wipro, accenture, etc. Few are doing internship in Accenture and 85% students got recruited. The highest package is 60 Lacs and average is 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Everything I heard from my friends about the hostel is pretty good with good Wi-Fi and healthy food. Peaceful environment and good labs are there. There are experienced teachers. Mess and canteen food is good.

Faculty: The teachers are highly experienced and the teaching is enjoyable and peaceful in nature. Semester exams are not too difficult.

Review of Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College.

Placements: Students with a CGPA of more than 7.5 get placements. Top recruiters are EY, Ford, etc. About 20% of students were hired. I however come from a business background, so I had not gone for the campus recruitment and I joined my business. I have an elder brother who was chosen by one of the recruiters.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, and the library is vast. I am a day scholar. The hostel is very neat and hygienic. Sports facilities are very good. They have 3 basketball courts, 2 cricket nets, and 3 tennis courts. It has a large ground with a capacity of 2000 people.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very kind. The course curriculum is very relevant to the business industry. Exams aren't easy, but most students pass the examinations. The syllabus is very useful for students who are interested in creating a startup or joining their family business.

One of the best colleges in Chennai.

Placements: Most of the students score well and good. They are getting good recruitments. Around 50% students are placed in various companies all over the world. Around 75% students are doing internships side by side.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, labs and computer rooms are good which helps us to learn better. The college gives a proper environment for the students. Our institution supports sportspersons and other activities.

Faculty: Their teaching quality is very good. The difficulty of semester exams is up to the standard. If a particular student has studied well, then it is quite easy to clear the exams. The syllabus is very much useful for future and it is good to follow the syllabus.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Honestly, DGVC doesn't care about placements as most of the students have their family businesses and make themselves self-employed. However, there is an active placement cell. The packages may vary from 3 to 6 LPA. Most of the students are sent on a one-month internship in some companies. Top roles offered were associate manager, assistant analyst, etc., according to seniors.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are pretty big and decent. The campus is pretty decent and crowded. It has hostel facilities for boys only. The quality of food is average and affordable. The canteen is overcrowded during break times. The campus has a huge ground for sports activities as well as the march past.

Faculty: Teachers are skilled, qualified, and teach us very well. They provide good industry exposure and knowledge. The course is designed by Madras University, and it is pretty much to the point and provides industrial knowledge. Semester exams are not that difficult if you out in a little effort.

Other: BBA from DGVC is ranked first all over Chennai and the second best in Tamil Nadu. So, pursuing it from here would be really beneficial. I wish we didn't have 3 languages to study along this course, but it's okay.

It is a decent college with a good atmosphere.

Placements: Only 30 out of 100 students got placed in my course as admissions are given only merit-based. In my knowledge, the lowest fee is for the morning batch as it is affiliated with the government, starting from 16,000 per semester. The highest package offered is 5.6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The department is big and has clean surroundings with decent infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious. Wi-Fi is not available for students in our department. Computer lab and library are good. The canteen food is average. Proper hostel facilities are available.

Faculty: I can't say all of them, but most of them are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is beyond perfect. The course curriculum is relevant and gives basic knowledge on business as students are partially ready for industry. The pass percentage is 40%.

Other: This is the easiest course in the commerce department. It is the best college for cultural events and extracurricular activities.

A decent college with good faculty members, infrastructure and placements.

Placements: I haven't passed out yet. I'm currently in my second year. But, I have learnt from my seniors that the placement in our college, especially for BBA and B.Com has been good with nearly 10 companies coming for the campus placement. Various programmes are conducted by various companies during the course, they provide career guidance and also motivate the students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are maintained well with sufficient lights, fans and benches. There are nearly 100 computers per lab and Wi-Fi is provided with proper speed. A separate block is available in the Library with books of all kinds. The quality of the food provided in the canteen is above average. Hostels are decent.

Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgeable, friendly and supporting. The course curriculum is not up to the industry level but your internships will make it to that level. The Semester Exams are not that tough. 40% (50 marks in Internal and 50 marks in External) is the pass percentage which the students can attain with normal preparation.

Other: BBA generally deals with business related studies and the interpersonal skills and communication skills taught here are so helpful. At the end of each semester, each department in the college conducts various events which enables the students to bring out their talents through participating in them.

It has a good infrastructure and it is great in sports.

Placements: Placement and career guidance help students get placed in prestigious institutions and companies. They also guide students to become successful entrepreneurs in the future. Almost 40% of students get their placements through campus interviews. Top roles offered are business development executive, marketing executive, account manager, branch manager, etc.

Infrastructure: The BBA course offers a good computer lab facility and a good classroom infrastructure that aids in learning. The library allows you to borrow books from various authors. The food taste and quality are great, but only vegetarian foods are allowed inside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are really friendly and motivate students to learn in an exciting manner while promoting equality among students. The course provided is well supportive of career management and development, allowing students to get ready to face the business world. Semester exams are moderately tough, with an average pass percentage of more than 5%.

Other: Business administration gives you the knowledge to self-govern your own business and is a great skill to sustain in the modern business economy. If the company visits were increased, it would be great to access their administration. There is no other better college to conduct more events than ours, giving enthusiastic access to other college events. There is great participation and winning in sports and other external activities.

Great course and a good College.

Placements: Around 70% get placed in our college. The highest package was around 6 LPA, and the lowest package was 3 LPA, with an average of 4.5 LPA. Recruitment Companies are HCL, RBS, DBS, and Infosys. Almost everyone got internships, internships were self-generated. Business analyst, Business associate are the roles offered.

Infrastructure: The college has good, clean, and spacious classrooms. The library is easily accessible and has lots of books and journals. Great facilities for extracurricular activities and sports. Multiple grounds and courts, regular tournaments, and events are conducted. The hostel food is good.

Faculty: The professors were knowledgeable, helpful and provided support throughout the course. The curriculum is promptly updated to match industry requirements and is very useful. The teaching is a mix of experimental and traditional. Pass percentage is 50% and the exams are challenging yet doable.

Other: Our college has top-rated faculty and department. Exposure to extracurricular activities and cultural activities is available in college. The college is situated within city limits. Scholarships and awards are also provided.
