If I talk about placements, they are average; faculty members are knowledgeable.
Placements: Around 50% of students placed in 2024 have placements that, if I talk about them, are quite poor, like the minimum of 3 LPA and the highest of 4.5 LPA. Companies basically come from the logistics sector only because our course is in logistics retail, e-commerce and supply chain.
Infrastructure: Facilities are average. Classrooms don't have AC; Wi-Fi is only in libraries, not in classrooms; the library is good. If I talk about hostels, I don't know about that much because Imu is not providing hostels for boys; they are only available for girls right now. Mess food is also available, the canteen is not there, and the medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The faculty is good; they are very knowledgeable in IMU and helpful too. The course curriculum is relevant; yes, it does make industry students ready; it is quite good. If I talk about the college exams, the difficult level is not that much like it is easy or average; the passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because it was a new one The logistics sector is slowly booming in the industry; improvement is much needed in the college; fests are not there only once a year; classrooms need AC because in the south it is so hot; There are no sports.

Review of IMU Chennai Indian Maritime University (IMUC).
Placements: Almost 95% of students get placed every year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Cogoport, etc. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Many students got placed as trainees.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college has an ATM. We have an auditorium, playground, library, digital library, computer lab, swimming pool, fishpond, waterfalls, garden, etc. Our college has a car and bike parking area. More than 100 vehicles can park in the parking area.
Faculty: Our faculty members are well-qualified. They have industrial experience. They teach every concept related to industries. They are doctorates. They clear our doubts related to the subject or beyond the subject.

Our college provides all facilities.
Placements: Many hardworking students got placed in our college. The management tries to help students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. Top roles offered are team leader, etc. Many companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi. The library is open every day. The mess is good. It provides healthy food. Our college does not have a canteen. Students are provided with beverages like tea and coffee during breaks.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced. We have guest lecturers. They organise industrial visits.
Other: It is an above-average college. It provides good education and standard facilities at a considerable cost. Our college conducts events and fests like Holi, etc.

All students got internships from our course in well-reputed companies like DP World Port Terminal, Adani Port Terminal, etc. The top role offered is a port operator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Wi-Fi is available in our college. Our computer labs have good systems. We have a well-maintained library. The hostel facilities are very good. The food served in the hostel is good. Medical facilities, a playground, and a basketball court are available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and very knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. They make everything easy and understandable. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready by providing practical knowledge of the course. Students can pass semester exams easily if they pay proper attention in class. More than 95% of students pass exams.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in ports, ships, and port operations, and I wanted to work in this field. Our course is very good. Our college organises a management fest named Estuary every year.

Review of Indian Maritime University, Chennai.
Placements: All the students got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered is 5.5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are CMA CGA, DP World, Cogoport, and Kuehne+Nagel. Every student gets internships at the ports and logistics companies in India and students try for internships on their own. The role offered was port operations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good with aesthetic architecture. Wi-Fi, computer labs, classrooms with good electronic devices, and a well-maintained library are provided. Hostel facility is good for girls but boys have to find accommodation on their own. Our college is planning to build a new hostel building for boys. Food quality and the mess service are good and well maintained with hygiene. There is a ground to play desired sports and a basketball court is also available. Our college mainly focuses on academics not much on sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready by giving them practical knowledge about the industry. Semester exams are not difficult if students attend classes regularly. Around 95% of students clear the semester examinations.
Other: I chose this course mainly because it provides a degree in 3 major subjects such as logistics, retailing, and e-commerce. Everything is very good but our college should provide a hostel facility for boys. It conducts a management event every year. The campus crowd is up to mark. Connectivity is very good since the college is situated beside the national highway with very good surroundings. Students can get scholarships provided by the central government and respective state governments.

Review of Indian Maritime University Chennai Campus.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed. The highest package as per my knowledge was 5 Lacs and the lowest was 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruitment companies were CMA CGA, Cogoport, Kuehne+Nagel. All the students get internship mostly on the ports like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port, DP world, Adani Terminals etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the department is really good and well maintained. The hostel facility is only for girl in this course only otherwise hostel for boys are the there who are in different course like DNS, B.Sc. Mess is there for every student, medical facilities are there. A doctor is always available in the campus and medicines are provided if needed to the students free of cost. A feild is there where students can play games of their choice, a basketball court is there. Although this college is mainly focused on the academics not more in sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and cooperative, all the faculty members are well qualified and has very good teaching style, they pay attention to each and every students and help them in all sort of academic problem. The course curriculum is up to point and relevant and it really make the students industry ready. The semester exams are really easy if you pay attention to the classes and follow the teacher's guidance. Almost every students pass the examinations.
Other: I choose this course because I was really interested in this course and mainly because this is a central government University. Sports facility is the only thing that I wish for improvement rest everything is up to mark. Management event is held every year which is known as Estury.

Our college doesn't give good vibes.
Placements: The salary package offered was 4.5 LPA which was good at the graduation level. Less companies visited our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel was not available but our college had a girls' hostel. The food served is not good for north Indians.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very supportive. They provided a very good quality education. The syllabus and course curriculum needed to be updated. Exams were conducted strictly.
Other: They should provide a boys' hostel.
