Review of ADYPU School of Design, Ajeenkya DY Patil University.
Placements: Our college has excellent placements. Top recruiting companies like BMW, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is good. Our rooms are hygienic, large, and comfortable. They are expensive, as their fees include the hostel. Wi-Fi is not available throughout the hostel.
Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They have experience in teaching and are good communicators. They are friendly with students. My favorite sir is C.P. Sir, the HOD of the design course. There is no written exam but at the end of the semester, there is a jury-style presentation.
Other: The campus is excellent and has a wide area to walk and enjoy. The entire campus is excellent and has a cool atmosphere.

A College once considered a Premier Institution.
Placements: 1. approximately 30 percent of student placed overall. 2. The highest package was 8 Lacs/Annum, the lowest package was around 4.5 Lacs and average package was around 5.5-6 Lacs 3. Maruti, TI cycles, Desmania Studios. 4. Transportation and Industrial Designer, Digital Modeller. 6. Somewhat 30 percent got internships in Maruti and TI Cycles.
Infrastructure: 1. Overall facilities were good enough with proper and updated system in classrooms and Labs. Wi-Fi network was good but required frequent logging in to access the internet which is a bit hectic at times. 2. Hostel was over all good with good facilities, 24/7 electricity and water, clean washrooms and rooms were cleaned regularly.
Faculty: 1. Teachers were quite good and but can't be fully dependent on the Teachers. Some were strict and some were really very helpful and available at any times 2. The course curriculum is relevant enough but some of the subjects were for the sake of credits. Students need to make themselves industry ready by themselves, can't be dependant on the Teachers.

It is the worst college you can ever imagine.
Placements: The college does not provide placement. Not a single company visited for campus recruitment. Moreover, a couple of designers visited in an event to make fun of the students, and their portfolios demoralise and demotivate them. College is not good, and the management always collects money from students. I left my job to pursue masters as my dream is to become an Automotive Designer, but choosing this college was the worst decision of my life that I will always regret.
Infrastructure: The amount of fee they are charging, they are not providing such an infrastructure. Air-conditioners do not work properly, the internet is very slow to work, classrooms are stinky, and labs are the worst. The entire computer lab has only 2 or 3 cintiqs which are working properly. Students have no idea why are they charging more money. It is like a robbery, where you have to give money and get nothing in return. Once I tried to talk to the management and the director, which was the worst thing to do. The director is not a person to talk. He is very rude and dumb. He doesn't give a damn about the students, and they only charge money. The whole management is the same.
Faculty: Faculty are the worst. This college does not even have a single good faculty. The person who addresses themselves as faculty members doesn't know anything about design. It is like a government job for them. They come whenever they want, do whatever they want and leave. They don't give a damn about the students at all. The only thing they care about is money, and they will go to any extent to take money from the students. They will easily fail student to charge credit penalty from them. These people are not faculty members. They are robbers. About the curriculum, they keep experimenting with different things on every batch, which never works out. Students learn nothing, and a project never gets completed on time. Faculty are not worried about the projects as they don't care.
Other: There are no placements, no learning, just wastage of money. This is not a college, its a scam.

The college provided really good infrastructure for students.
Placements: My seniors got placed after completing their second semester. The minimum salary package offered was 2.50 LPA, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.50 LPA. Around 98% of the students got placed. The remaining 2% of students had communication problems and thus didn't get a job in their first attempt, but after their third semester, they improved their communication skills and got jobs with salary packages in between 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are provided with Wi-Fi and digital facilities. The main problem in the campus is that there is no library for students. Otherwise, there are good facilities in the college. Sports are limited for the management students. They got sports facilities during sports day, but at that time, we enjoyed as well.
Faculty: Every teacher helps all the students, and they resolve if anyone has any doubt. Teachers decided their teaching strategy according to the weakest students of the class, and by that, every student was able to understand what they taught us. By motivating and removing stage fear among students, they improved everyone. There are 41 students in my class, and everyone scored well in their semester exams.
Other: The college provides huge opportunities to its students by giving chances to participate in quizzes, projects, sports and many other campus activities.

Other: DYPDC is a college that has been set up by Dilip Chabriya (one of the best automobile designers in India.). As I was inspired by him I joined this college, but later came to know that the college had some issues and Dilip Chabriya left, now there is no proper faculty to teach (in fact there is only one faculty left now for product design) neither the facilities are good. So there are no juniors as well. We are the only pilot batch and the last batch till now. Campus placements is zero.

Good placement opportunities for MBA, Automobile design, product designing students.
Placements: Above 80% of students get placements and internships in great companies. The package can be between 1.5 to 15 LPA. Companies like TATA STEEL, TCS, KOTAK MAHINDRA, WIPRO, and INFOSYS recruit from our university.
Infrastructure: There's an availability of Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, music room. The quality of food served in the mess is good. The campus is full of greenery and there's sufficient ventilation in hostel rooms and classrooms. Many interesting sports and yoga facilities are available in the campus infrastructure as well.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and always available for help. The environment is so friendly and the staff is also supportive. The semester exams are always based on the things that have already been taught by the teachers. The exams aren't that difficult.
Other: I was interested in the Graphic Design course and found this college worth getting admission to. All fests and occasions are celebrated every year.
