    EGS Pillay Engineering College (autonomous).
    Placements: 3rd SEM students are eligible for campus placement and an internship. Wipro, HCL, TCS, Infosys, Vin Fest, etc. More than 50 companies offer a 7 LPA package, with a minimum of 2 LPA. 75 percent students had some business and some higher education. The placement cell provide books and the programme learning platform for students During placement training, they teach us competitive aptitude, general English and some important programming .
    Infrastructure: EGS campus is well designed; we have each nearby campus. There are many functions are conducted in this college, like aksharam cultural festival, alumni meet, pongal celebration, etc. I am a cricket player, and my college supports sports people. The library has a lot of academic books and journal collections; no Wi-Fi is only for office work, not for students. My hostel accommodation rent is monthly room that is comfortable and bathroom privately used in one room. Food is good once a week, non-vegetarian; the college bus is not comfortable .
    Faculty: Faculty members are friendly; they provide free subscription course information to add more skills to their resumes. Teachers are very qualified; they are from the CS field. Our and BE computer teachers are the same. Our institute is autonomous and affiliated with Anna University, so the course is well structured. We have many programming, AI, and ML subjects that are useful. Semester is many exams, not very difficult, understanding needs to be good, logic building questions.
    Other: College is very good, and my home is near. No, I think college is good, but the bus and canteen need better.

    60% above is required in the Bachelor of Computer Science.
    Placements: In the fifth semester, there are companies available for placement. Various national and multinational companies come for hiring on the E. G. S. campus, including Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Tata, Reliance, Bajaj, etc. Packages start from INR 4 lacs to INR 15 lacs or above, according to your qualifications and the profile you have here. 50% or more of students definitely get placements.
    Infrastructure: Separate hostels for boys and girls are available at very affordable prices. Hostel admission is done on a first come, first served basis. They insist on having your parents with you at the time of admission, but it's a pretty flexible process, and still, life was pretty fun. The hostel facilities are very good. You will have access to hot and cold water around the clock. You have two options for hostel rooms: AC and non-AC rooms. The quality of the mess is good. You have 1 cafe known as Rising Cafe and 1 restaurant known as Blue Ears where you can enjoy yourself if you are bored with the food. The mess name in this university is Oval, where you will get good food. There are no rental options nearby; you have to go to a hostel on campus.
    Faculty: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer science. The faculty of E. G. S. College is very good in all terms. Every subject professor is highly qualified, and their teaching method is very good. There were six semesters in my course, and each semester had various types of exams. Both theory and practice. It's hard to pass because the quality of E. G. S. University is very top-class. Class size:-50 Course fees: INR 35,000 per year.

    My review about this college.
    Placements: Most of the students got internship and placement offers in hand in 5th semester itself. If any student could not make it, department provided internships to him under the guidance of any faculty members. Placements were good. Many companies provided training like Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. Students have the best future, they have many packages of our college starting salary Rs 25,000 so students have the best opportunity and they improve their knowledge. It was at that stage that it all depends on skills the more you learn, the more opportunities you get in big companies.
    Infrastructure: They mostly help us to find the course to choose with our ability and skills a course like they tell what a course has and nice. Also, they had to listen to students' suggestions for studying. The exam timing and a bit harder last time more mark policies. Accommodation facilities were pretty great, and the entire infrastructure was neatly furnished. Hostel life was eccentric. More or less it depends on your friends. You could choose to have fun or have a studious group or even better, you could maintain a lethargic balance between them.
    Faculty: Faculty members were pretty great and had a relevant amount of industry experience. The classroom lectures were more of a two-way street. The faculty members would prompt us to speak and share our personal views regarding a particular topic. Student performance evaluation was done on the basis of class performance, dissertation report, and external examination. The course curriculum was relevant, but the structure of course was not up to date. Faculty members were good and they helped you understand the concepts. They were well educated and they had doctorate degrees in their field.
