Placements: Approximately 30% of students who completed the course got successfully placed. The highest package offered in our course is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. The average package stood around 4.2 LPA. Recruiting company is GlowLogics Pvt. Ltd. 10% of students got internships. Roles offered is hardware engineer.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for our course are decent, offering essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and access to a library. While the resources are sufficient for learning, some areas could be improved for a better experience. Overall, the department provides an average learning environment.

Faculty: Semester exams in this college are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study and understanding of concepts, with proper preparation, students can perform well. The pass percentage is around 80%, indicating that a majority of students successfully clear the exams.

Improve placements are needed.

Placements: The percentage is less. The companies that are brought are almost production companies or BPOs. Otherwise, startups require a huge amount of work time with very less for freshers. Rarely we get core companies. The highest package is 6 LPA, to my knowledge, it is 8 LPA not in my department. The recruiting companies are mostly startups and production-based companies. They don't permit us to go to internships in the final year. I got an offer letter from a BPO.

Infrastructure: The food is good. Though only veg is allowed on the campus. There are 4 canteens and 1 mess in total on the campus. You would get snacks such as the basic items lays, kurkure, other things, soft drinks, and others are also available. Oil snacks such as samosa and puffs cake are also available.

Faculty: The course I took was not that difficult. We have 6 months for a semester whereas, you would get a unit test at the end of the 1st month, an internal test in the second month, again unit 2 test in the early 3 months, an internal 2 at ending of 3rd month then goes model 1 and model 2, then semester exams are held.

Other: There would rarely be any programs on this campus in 4 years once an annual day. There are no cultural, fests, or celebrations. SC/ST people will get 100% scholarships, whereas others have to based on how they joined, either through counseling or management quota.

The college is poor in placements and infrastructure, but good in faculty and fee structure.

Placements: There are some companies which will come to Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering, but most of them will be hiring for the BPOs (call centres). The placements based on the branch of engineering, which you are studying will be difficult. A few 2nd tier IT companies will come to hire the people, who are good at coding. But it benefits the students mainly from IT and CSC branch only.

Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure of the campus is poor. However, the labs and the classrooms are decent enough. There are no sports activities in this college. The Wi-Fi facility will be available only in the lab, and for the access to Wi-Fi facility, you need to get the special permissions. The hostel rooms are good enough, but the food quality and hygiene fail to meet our expectations. The transportation is one of the main concerns as the buses rarely stops near this college.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are M.E students but reliable enough to clear the student's doubts. A few of them lack subject knowledge, but the majority are helpful. The faculty members spend additional time for the slow learners and have additional coaching classes for the improvement of slow learners. A class consisted of approximately 50 students, and there were enough faculty members to handle the students. The industry exposure was minimal in this college. The course curriculum was Anna University's syllabus. It had good enough standard.

Other: The tech fest is conducted every year to exhibit the technical and innovative skills of students, which is the main event happens in this college. The campus is surrounded by the agricultural land and a marble factory. Even though the college is on the side of the national highway, the bus connectivity is minimal because most of the buses won't stop here. There are no extracurricular activities here. The management of this college consists of people with orthodox thoughts. The communication with the opposite gender is strictly prohibited inside the campus. However, the lower fees structure is helpful for the poor as well to get educated.

Good college with good teaching abilities

Placements: The placements are good. As college is situated next to Bangalore and in industrial are we get more campus interviews. All the students in the college get there jobs from these campus placements and get starting experience so that they can migrate to other companies. They also give placemen trainings which are very useful for placements

Infrastructure: Wifi is available and the infrastructure is also good and some are in developmental. Soon it will be a good infrastructure. There are the roads and good library facility and playgrounds is also big enough. We also have volleyball basket ball and football grounds

Faculty: The faculties are very good and are experienced staffs who focus on students knowledge improvement and teach them well. They also provide good programmes in the college for education purpose depending the the course. They provide other course related activities and also conduct symposiums for talent exhibition.
