Simplicity is the best part I learned during those days.

Placements: The college has a separate placement cell which is very active throughout the year. During our final year, many core electrical companies visited our college to offer placements, and many of our batchmates were placed with the highest salary package of 2 LPA. The college conducted many mock interviews to prepare students for the final interview. Our teachers supported every student to gain technical knowledge and helped them learn how to clear the technical interview.

Infrastructure: Since I had resided at PG, I am not sure about the condition of the college hostel. However, the college has every facility required for the engineering course. It has a separate ED room with a seating capacity of almost 50 members. There is a separate lab for IT practicals, chemistry practicals, and physics practicals. All the labs are well maintained and clean. The college provides canteen facilities. Previously, there was only one section for both students and staff, but later, it is divided and is very convenient now. The college didn't have any sick room which should be present so that if anyone is not well during college time, they can rest for a while, especially girls.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were the best. Every teacher in our branch was cooperative and used to know every student personally. So, surviving in the college became easier for everyone. Even the administration department helped us in a friendly manner. Recently, they have opened a stationary on the campus.

Other: Events are the best part of our college days. They are organised for 3 days, and there are different events in which every student can participate. Sports events are very competitive, and there is very different energy altogether during those days. Different kinds of days were celebrated, especially the traditional day.

The college has good infrastructure. The faculty are strict, friendly and qualified.

Placements: Many companies visited our college, but only a few of them got selected. Overall, 25% of the students got selected. The package they received was good enough, and preferably those students are still working there. A special faculty is provided for sending notification about the placements nearby.

Infrastructure: This college has its building for the respective stream. There are many labs as per the requirement. The Wi-Fi facility is available on every floor of each building. Any student can operate Wi-Fi by registering admission number. The student can access Wi-Fi for 2 hours. The library is common in the main building, but every branch also has their library books as per the requirement. The campus also has grind, where functions and sports are conducted. There is a separate canteen building and can accommodate over 200 to 300 students at once.

Faculty: The teachers, HOD, dean and the principal, are strict but friendly too. All the teachers are qualified and have a good experience. The teaching quality is also good. They try their best so that students can understand easily. Practical knowledge is also given by taking students for various visits.

My experience at Finolex College.

Placements: Students placed were about 80-95 per course. The highest package offered by the course is more than 1 LPA. The lowest package was for the special reserved caste categories. Top recruiting companies were Tata, Reliance, Mahindra, etc. Many of the students got internships from our course.

Infrastructure: There are many facilities and infrastructures available, like Wi-Fi, especially labs and Library. There are specific labs for specific departments, each building has there specific labs. I haven't stayed at a hostel, but by listening to our friends, the facilities are well and good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They provide each and everything when we are stuck with something. Especially the teaching quality is best and the staff is very supportive. They give real-life examples to understand us better. This electrical engineering course and every engineering course provide us to be industry-ready.

Other: I chose this course for my betterment. The best thing about my course is the practicals which we perform. I don't think there are such things that need to be improved, there must be things, but I don't know which are they.

The best college for electrical engineering.

Placements: At Finolex Academy of Management and technology there were few companies for placement during the year 2016, but now the rate of placement has increased to a greater extent. I would suggest you go to the institute. CMS, Wipro, TCS, HCL, TATA AIG, IBM have been the part of placement at Finolex Academy of Management and Technology.

Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled so as the students must get the benefits. The classrooms are well ventilated. The sports are with high enthusiasm, and almost every student joins the sports events. The library has a wide range of books, and the books are managed so well that everyone gets the required book at the desired time. There are multiple copies of books available.

Faculty: Finolex Academy of Management and Technology is at Mumbai university, so the curriculum is according to the Mumbai University. The staffs are highly qualified and are always available for guiding students 24/7. There is a regular visit to industries. During 2016 we visited Finoles captive power plant, HVDC at Padghe etc. The faculty always tries to build the concept practically.

Don't opt for this college as it is very far from Mumbai and there is lots of pressure from faculty.

Placements: The placements are not that frequent, and not many MNCs visit here. It's just mostly local companies that are resourcing from here. Infosys, Tata and Jindal are some of the important companies to visit for placement. The average salaries offered are Rs. 15,000 per month.

Infrastructure: Great infrastructure, with a huge campus, and proper allotment of the faculty, a good library and study area, an average canteen, no Wi-Fi whatsoever, bad facility for toilets, good laboratories, maintained assembly halls, a big space for activities and festivals include the infrastructure. It is very near to the railway station and is away from the city.

Faculty: The faculty is not that great, very conventional methods are still being used, and professors hold a grudge and take it personally if a pupil does not perform. There is lots of pressure from the faculty and so not a great option if you like to do things independently. Lots of cocurricular activities are carried out though. There is a good study environment and proper completion of the syllabus.
