Satisfied with college life.
Placements: 60 percent of the students got placed from our batch. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and the average is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, FSBPL, Capsitech, and PwC. 100 percent of students got placed in internships in different companies like 70 percent in Euphoria GenX, 15 percent in Ardent, and 15 percent in CTS. Top roles offered are developer, SW developer 1 and 2, customer care roles, and associate roles.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. The service is good and well-versed. Labs are clean and tidy. The computer devices are a little disturbing but are functionally able. The library is a place of aura. It contains each and every book you want and you can sit for hours and hours together. Summers are good with the library. The quality of the food in college is average. Foodstuffs are not so good but the environment is good. The basketball area is there to play badminton, tennis, cricket, and whatnot. The medical facility is not available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and guide well for placement purposes. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Practical demonstrations are given during classes and doubt-clearing classes are held before exams. The courses are relevant to today's life. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are medium. The guard is very strict and cannot even move their head backwards. Questions are given from the class notes only. If thorough with notes, then it will be easy for that candidate.

Top recruiting companies like Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Oracle, KPMG, HCL, and many startups hire students. 20 percent of students got placed in Cognizant. 30 percent of students got placed in TCS and 2 percent in PwC. The top roles offered are software engineer and developer. Many students got selected in their dream companies and have a good life.
Infrastructure: Facilities are really good. The infrastructure is good and is getting better day by day. The library and computer labs are very good. Wi-Fi facility is available here. The quality of the food in the canteen is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. They provide us with everything and how to crack interviews. They teach very well. The CSE and IT department teachers are very helpful and make students ready for industry life. Semester exams are a bit tough, but if we are thorough with our studies, then they are good. They also help us to crack the dream job. Their behavior is good.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2029

3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Mostly, students of Computer Science Engineering (core) get placement from private companies. An average of 2-4 LPA job is offered. As CSDS is a new stream, it does not have huge placement records. Students try to crack both on-campus and off-campus opportunities to get better jobs.
Infrastructure: There is a central library in the engineering building and a few more libraries in other buildings like business. Classrooms are non-AC but quite big. One can access various books, free Wi-Fi, and computers from the central library. A lot of clubs (6-7) are there in this college, and students can enjoy their college life thoroughly by being a part of these clubs and their events. Mess food is affordable and average. Many affordable restaurants are nearby.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They are very friendly to us. This course (CSEDS) is quite relevant. Being a new subject, it does not have huge demand in the industry yet. The semester exams are as difficult as in any other colleges under MAKAUT University.
Other: The college fee is less as compared to other colleges.

It is a very good college, and I recommend everyone to go there.
Placements: 85% of students are placed from my college. 3.5 LPA to 11.5 LPA are the lowest and the highest packages offered by this college. TCS and Mindtree, as mass recruiters, are the best companies, including the Big 4. 80-90% of students got internships from this college.
Infrastructure: Future Institute of Engineering and Management College has great infrastructure with a very good library, Wi-Fi, neat and clean classrooms, and over 82 labs. FIEM does not contain any hostel, but this college has its own canteen serving students and teachers with hygienic food.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful and very qualified. If I go for help anytime, they assist me without any hesitation. The CSE (this) course is very relevant, making the students industry-ready. As FIEM falls under Makaut University, exam levels are moderate to difficult.
Other: Flames- Fest gathering a large crowd.

The college is moderate, but it is still good.
Placements: According to college data, 70% of students got on-campus placement. The highest package from my course was around 6 LPA, and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA. Many companies came to recruit from our college, but the top ones were Amazon, TCS, Infosys, etc. Around 6–7 students get placed at Amazon from our department every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my course/department was very good. What I liked about my college was a lot. We had dedicated 2 labs only for our department students. A seminar room was also present where students could discuss events and spend their time. There were also dedicated Wi-Fi and a single but well-maintained library. Although hostel students said the rooms were not that good. The food sometimes came out to be bad. The canteen food was definitely bad, and the medical facilities were not very good.
Faculty: Teachers/faculty members were very helpful for my course. Most of them had multiple degrees. Their teaching was good. The course curriculum was not completely relevant, but it definitely made students industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate and were conducted depending on the university (MAKAUT). The passing percentage was around 60%.
Other: I chose this course because it was one of the best courses from this college, but I think the studies could have been better. There were many (6–7) events that happened throughout the entire college year. The campus stayed crowded, and scholarships were available.

I'm satisfied with the faculty, good placements, good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: Approximately 80 percent of students got placed. The average package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Career Comfort, Wipro, Huron, Zensar, Tech Mahindra, Teleperformance, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. Internship is less as we have got more job opportunities.
Infrastructure: FIEM's 5-acre Kolkata campus features more than 32 smart classrooms, over 82 labs, and a 60k-book library. It offers 3 AC auditoriums, Wi-Fi, sports grounds, and a canteen. This eco-friendly hub blends modern tech with top amenities for students. I was not in the hostel, but I heard from others that it is good.
Faculty: FIEM admits via WBJEE, JEE Main, and MAT offers B.Tech, MBA, MCA, BCA, and Media Science. Faculty includes experienced Ph.D. holders with a 1:25 ratio. They provide strict, supportive guidance in core streams like CSE/ECE, ensuring industry readiness. Good faculty and exams are conducted strictly.
