Students cannot directly join the BCom programme at Gandhinagar University. Admission to this course is completely merit-based, determined by the aspirants' Class 12 scores. Candidates need to apply online or offline through the official college website and submit the required documents and fees. Seat allotment is done according to the merit list. Additionally, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria before admission. Candidate must clear Class 12 and must have studied English and Accountancy subject in their last qualifying examination. However, students who have not opted for Accountancy as a subject in Class 12 and want to get admission to BCom course, need to submit an assignment of Accountancy subject before entering in second semester of the BCom course, and by paying INR 2000 as additional fees. 

Yes, Gandhinagar University offers a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) undergraduate degree course that can be completed in either three or four years. The three-year programme is BCom, and the four-year programme is BCom (Hons.). The university offers 30 seats for the BCom (Hons.) course and 300 seats for the BCom course. Students can choose any of the specialisation between Accounting and Auditing, Banking, Financial Services & Insurance, and Statistics in their third year of the BCom course.The eligibility criteria for admission to both the three-year and four-year BCom courses are similar. Candidates must have completed Class 12 with English and Accountancy as major subjects.
