Information about GD Rungta College of Science and Technology, Bhilai.

Placements: Campus placement drives are conducted every year. The placement rate at the engineering department is much higher than in other departments. Overall departments have a good placement rate but engeenering department offers the most. The average salary package ranges from 5 LPA-10 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. The college has various sports sections such as badminton, football, cricket, basketball, and volleyball. The hostel services provide food, cleaning, and laundry services. Overall everything is properly arranged and provided.

Faculty: Faculty members are amazing, labs are also decent. Co-curricular activities take place every Saturday. Industrial visits are also provided by the college. Overall the education department is good.

Other: Sports events take place every year for various sports, where all colleges play the university games.

College environment is nice. Overall, the college is nice.

Placements: Around 45% of students were got placements. The highest package was 12 lakh per annum, the average package was 2–3 lakh per annum and the lowest package was 1 lakh per annum. There was a banking company I don't remember; I guess it was Axis Bank. In our college, a smaller number of students get placed. The top role was full-stack development.

Infrastructure: The facilities were good but not well maintained. The major problems were that the bathrooms were not maintained and were dirty all the time. I don't think that there are any other problems regarding classes, lab, Wi-Fi, or the library. But one thing is for sure: the software and courses are a bit old, according to today's generation. The hostel's infrastructure was okay but there was a rule that 5 people should live in one room and there was only 1 bathroom for 5 people. Food was the worst. Sports were nicely organized.

Faculty: The teachers were helpful, and some teachers were Ph.D.s in some subjects. They conducted hackathon for the coders. Yes, it makes the students ready for the industry. The exams were a bit easier and the invigilator was conducting the exams nicely. The exams were always completed on time.

Other: The best thing about this course was that it prepared the students for the industry. The syllabus must be updated from time to time. Fest is the best part of this college, and the events can be improved.

My review of GD Rungta College of Science and Technology.

Placements: Approximately 60 to 70 percent of students got placement. Every year, the placement percentage of our college differs, especially after COVID-19 (corona), when it dropped to 30 percent from 50 percent. This year, the higher salary package offered was 19 LPA. MBA, B.Pharma and many other courses are on top.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not as good as I expected, but furthermore, it provides wi-fi for student and the labs are well cleaned. As a BCA student, I know about the computer lab only, and the quality of food available in the mess is good, but not everyday and the canteen is also good.

Faculty: The faculty of our college are well qualified. They have years of experience in their field and provide solutions for students. Teachers are very supportive and helpful. It is not as easy to pass the semester, as I think, because preparation days are shorter than the yearly examination.

Other: I chose this course for a better job and I am curious about technical subjects. Our college is best known for festivals and events related to studies. Every year, one of the best festivals is held called Carnival, in which the best singers of Bollywood are invited.

If you are searching college then I think you should give a try for this college.

Placements: I didn't have enough experience in the placements process but I have seen my seniors getting a lot of opportunities related to placements. Infosys Mahindra Tata Wipro and so many other companies come for the placements and this event is called the placement Nama and in the last year or second last year many students get an internship with a good type and good learning.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is slow but everything is except that the good infrastructure is good along with the library which is for me the best place I have ever seen because they are so many books and novels stored which you can freely read. In mess, the food is very good and canteen food is like heaven go give it a try.

Faculty: The curriculum is great but the faculty is good, not great. Our BCA curriculum also includes Web technology and e-commerce which is I think one of the most important skills so yes exams are difficult but not too much passing percentage is quite high so don't worry just focus on your skill and learning.

Other: Yes, there are a lot of extracurricular activities going on always so don't even hesitate to take a part and go grab every opportunity you saw who knows this activity may create your success.

The college has good infrastructure and good teachers.

Placements: The placement percentage of our college differs every year, especially after the pandemic, it dropped to 30% from 50%. This year, the highest salary package offered was 19 LPA and the lowest offered was Rs.23000 per month. Some top recruiters were TCS and Wipro. Around 60% of students receive internships.

Infrastructure: There are 3 main blocks in our college where block A and block B are very beautiful and well-maintained but block C is quite old. There is a very huge central library just in front of Block B. It is spacious and air-conditioned. Our college is full of computer labs, specially there is a lab for Linux only in block C.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well-qualified, experienced, and helpful. Even in online classes, they didn't leave any space for complaint and teaching quality is excellent. BCA makes a student job-ready because of multiple programming languages in its syllabus. The semester exams conducted in our college are average, neither too hard nor too easy.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: Rungta College is best for placements. Many students from our batch got placed in MNCs, and many students are doing internships with a good stipend. Companies like Cognizant, Wipro, Byju's, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and many more visit here at the time of placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. Our college has its own central library, and labs and classrooms are very good. Though I am not a hosteller, my friends who stay in the hostel said that the facilities provided there are very nice, which include proper food, sports, medical, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members here are surely very helpful and ready to help you anytime. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry. Faculty members provide good content for preparation. They are more like friends.

It is the best college in the town.

Placements: Our college provides the best placements across the country or central India. It provides the best opportunities for freshers to get a job which they desire to have. Students should join this college if they want job security after their corresponding graduation.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is the best in town. It is advisable to visit the campus once. The hostel is available for boys and girls with a capacity of 4 students in a room with 4 beds, 4 study tables and 4 cupboards.

Faculty: Faculty members have good qualifications and are helpful and interactive too. Since faculty members are properly qualified, the quality of teaching is high. Students should study well for the exams conducted by the college. Otherwise, they shall fail and have to re-appear for the concerned exam.

I had a really good experience here.

Placements: Placements are available for 2nd and 3rd-year students. Many good companies visited here from all over India. Our college provides internships to students. Students who have a good academic percentage and have good communication skills easily get placements. You should keep less expectations about placements because many students do not get placed.

Infrastructure: The fee of BCA is Rs. 30,000 per year. The campus is very good with many facilities, labs, grounds, an auditorium and a hostel for both boys and girls. Classrooms contain good projector boards. Our college provides many facilities like a library, computer labs, a huge auditorium, etc.

Faculty: The faculty members of our college are very supportive and helpful. They pay attention to every student and provide extracurricular activities. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching methods are good, and they conduct many activities for every course.

Other: I preferred to choose BCA (bachelor of computer application) because I have an interest in gaining more knowledge about computer application. Our college organises events and various kinds of fests. Clubs and social activities are a part of various clubs.
