Scholarships at Geeta University (GU):
GU strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Schemes which is the initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes* of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. GU offers scholarships on basis of:

GUTS (Geeta University Test of Scholarship) Score (Not applicable for D. Pharm, B. Pharm and GGI courses):

Scholarship on the basis of GUTS score:

Score => 95% - 100% of Tuition Fee
Score => 90% - 50% of Tuition Fee
Score => 80% - 40% of Tuition Fee
Score => 70% - 30% of Tuition Fee
Score => 60% - 10% of Tuition Fee

Scholarship on basis of merit / percentage in qualifying examination (Not applicable for D. Pharmacy and shall be applicable for 1st year only in B. Pharm program):

Note: In addition to the scholarships mentioned above for B.Tech. course, students having 70-84.9 & 50-69.9 percentile in JEE shall be given 20% & 10% scholarship in tuition fee respectively.

Social Responsibility Scholarship (Not applicable for D. Pharmacy & shall be applicable for 1st year only in B.Pharm program):

Category - Freedom Fighters
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Son/ Daughter or Grandson /Granddaughter of Freedom Fighters Tuition Fee (Applicable for Indian Students only)

Category - Defense
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Son/Daughter of Armed / Para -Military Forces / State Police (Applicable for Indian Students only)

Category - Disability
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Students having more than 50% Physical impaired where specified disability has been defined in measurable terms, as certified by the certifying authority. (Excluding Deaf & Dumb disability)

Category - Employee
Scholarship - 50% of tuition fee
Remarks - GU or GGI Employee enrolling any course at University, till the staff is in service

Category - Employee's Sibling/Spouse
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Son/Daughter/Spouse of GGI / GU Employee, till the staff is in service

Category - Existing Student / GGI Alumni
Scholarship - 50% of tuition fee
Remarks - Students (with 60% or above) Pursuing higher studies

Category - Alumni / Existing Student's Sibling/Spouse
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Sibling / Spouse of GGI / GU student or Alumni

Category - Economically Weaker Sections
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - Economically Weaker Section Certificate issued by the concerned authority in the state is mandatory requirement.

Category - Child of Single Mother(SGC)
Scholarship - 30% of tuition fee
Remarks - The child looked after by the mother alone without a husband. The woman may be divorced or whose husband/partner is dead.

Category - Orphan Child
Scholarship - 50% of tuition fee
Remarks - Orphan is a child who’s both parents are dead, or he/she is an abandoned child. The applicant is not legally adopted by any individual or couple or group.

Scholarship on the basis of performance in sports (Not applicable for D.Pharmacy & shall be applicable for 1st year only in B.Pharm program):

COVID 19 Scholarships (Not applicable for D.Pharmacy & shall be applicable for 1st year only in B.Pharm program):

Loss of both the parents due to COVID - 60% of Tuition fee
Loss of father due to COVID - 40% of Tuition fee
Loss of family member - 20% of Tuition fee
Frontline corona warriors i.e. Medical staff, Health workers, Doctors, Paramedics, Police, Civic workers, working with National Disaster Management Auth. (NDMA) etc - 20% of Tuition fee
