Placements: 50% of MARKS students are placed in this course. The highest package is 6.10 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 4 Lacs per annum. Top companies are Lenskart, Titan, etc. 50% of students get internships. Best to study and practical. Top roles in optometry include optometrist, ocular health specialist, vision therapist, and optical product manager.
Infrastructure: Our department offers state-of-the-art facilities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms with audio-visual aids, and access to an extensive library with physical and digital resources to support learning. There is no hostel in my college.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring excellent teaching quality. Yes, the curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The semester exams are challenging, with a pass percentage generally above average.
Other: I chose this course for its relevance to my interests and career goals, and I value its practical skills and growth opportunities. I wish the course had more hands-on opportunities, clearer resources, and better interaction with instructors for personalized feedback.
