The admission process for the MBBS programme at Government Medical College, Aurangabad:
- The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) UG is a required entrance test for Indian MBBS admissions. Candidates must take it.
- Interested parties must register for the exam and submit a NEET UG application.
- Following the release of the NEET UG results, aspirants are required to take part in the counselling process run by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats and the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, for state quota seats.
- Based on their NEET UG scores, candidates are required to select the colleges and courses they would like to take during the counselling procedure.

Application fee and other details is released by NBE. The fee remains the same as it was last year. In 2024, the application fee was reduced by INR 750 for each category. It must be noted that paying exam fee is mandatory to submit NEET PG 2025 application form.
The NEET 2025 result is expected to be released in the first week of June 2025, within a month of conducting the exam. NTA does not announce the NEET result date in advance. Although last year the result date was stated to be declared on June 14, NTA released it 10 days in advance. Hence, there is no fixed date or schedule for NTA to declare the NEET result. Prior to the declaration of the result, NTA releases the final NEET answer key. Last year, NEET was conducted on May 5 and the result was declared June 4.
