As per the GMC Aurangabad MD cut-off released for Round 2 of NEET PG counselling 2024,  MD in Radio Diagnosis, with the closing rank of 530, was the most competitive specialisation for the General AI category candidates. On the other hand, it was the easiest to secure a seat in MD in Physiology, with the closing rank of 99,911 for the General AI category candidates.

Among the OBC AI candidates, MD in Radio Diagnosis was again the most difficult specialisation to get admission to. The admission during the Round 2 closed at the rank of 645. The least difficult course for the OBC AI category turned out to be MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra released the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling dates for 2025 on October 31, 2025. The registration process last date was extended from November 6, 2025, to November 11, 2025. In general, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling lasts for five to seven days. Based on student requests and other external factors, CET Cell Maharashtra may extend the last date of registration. 

GMC Aurangabad MD tuition fee is INR 7.71 lakh. It is payable over three years. The MD fee structure also includes other fee components, such as the admission fee of INR 1,500, caution money of INR 4,000, development fees of INR 5,000, etc. These are one-time fees payable at admission. GMC Aurangabad MD admission is based on the applicants' performance in the NEET PG entrance exam. Application fee and other details is released by NBE. The fee remains the same as it was last year. In 2024, the application fee was reduced by INR 750 for each category. With reduced fee, candidates had to pay INR 3500 for general category while for SC/ST candidates had to pay INR 2500. Earlier candidates had to pay INR 4200 application fee for general category. It must be noted that paying exam fee is mandatory to submit NEET PG 2025 application form. 

MCC will announce dates and schedule for NEET PG 2025 counselling. Registration for round-1 counselling was started on October 17, 2025. Registration can be done on the official website, mcc.nic.in. Seats are allotted based on declared choices, availablity of seats, NEET PG rank, reservation factor etc. A separate seat allotment result is declared for each round.
