Lack of extracurricular activities and poor connectivity.
Placements: The college has its first batch in the third year, as it was started in 2022. Therefore, no student has completed the course and received the degree. Interns are working at the government hospital associated with the college, and they earn around Rs. 30,000. However, there are no pass-outs from the college yet. The student gains practical knowledge and experience.
Infrastructure: The library is not well managed, with just a limited books available. There is no Wi-Fi facility, the classrooms are sufficient for a batch of 100 students, and they have air conditioning. The hostel rooms are not spacious, with three students in each room. There is barely any space to walk around. Mess food is decent, though the taste varies, and there might be some bad days. There is a sports week each year, but apart from that, no sports and games are held, and there is no equipment available. There is no sports ground.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty decent and good at their job, but that is not the case for all teachers. Some just read off slides of the presentation and leave the lecture hall. The curriculum is pretty relevant, with practical lectures for 3 hours per day, preparing students for the real world. The semester exams are at a moderate level with just enough difficult questions to encourage students to level up with their studies and not discourage them. To pass, one needs to score above 50% in both the practical and theoretical examinations.
Other: I opted for this course because I wanted to be a doctor. I have always seen doctors in the hospital as celebrities with the way they work, and I really admired them. For improvement, maybe more extracurricular activities are needed in order to get away from the stress of studies, with proper activities and committees being formed. There are a total of 300 students, with barely a few interested in organizing events. Fewer fests and events occur, with just 1-3 per year. There is not much connectivity.
