NTA released the official NEET question paper 2024 for a few sets in English and Hindi, and answer keys for all sets.

NEET 2024 question paper, along with the answer key, were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The official NEET 2024 answer key by NTA was released on May 30, 2024, however, the top coaching institutes release the question paper and answer key immediately after the exam. Candidates used the NEET question paper 2024 and answer key to calculate the tentative score in the exam. The question papers for NEET 2025 were released in PDF format for each set and subset. No, the NEET exam or NEET question paper does not have any optional questions. Although there used to be 20 optional questions in total in between the years 2022 and 2024, but 2025 onwards, the optional questions in NEET were removed as part of the revision or change in the NEET exam pattern as per the pre-COVID era. Hence, the NEET 2025 question paper will not carry any optional questions, and will have 360 mandatory questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Yes, in fact solving the question papers of previous years is an integral part of the preparation phase. They help the candidate familiarise themselves with the paper pattern and help them prepare an exam day strategy. Students must ensure that they solve the NEET question papers in a proctored manner, I. e. within the stipulated timing and duration and in one go, without any breaks. Students should ideally start solving the previous years' NEET question papers once they complete the syllabus. Another way to utilise previous years' NEET question papers is to solve the subject-wise questions separately, after completing the syllabus of each subject, students should solve the subject-wise questions from NEET question papers followed by the full-length question paper.
NTA released the provisional answer key first, followed by the NEET 2024 final answer key, which was released along with the NEET 2024 result on June 4.

NEET 2024 Question Papers and Answer Keys - Set S

According to the NEET exam pattern, a question for which more than one response is marked on the OMR sheet will be considered incorrect. For such questions, one mark would be deducted. Hence, candidates should be careful while answering on the OMR sheet. They should solve the questions separately on the space provided for rough work, and then shade the answer option on the OMR sheet to avoid such errors. Revision after completing the exam is also important to avoid unwarranted negative marking.
Five ways to study to remember everything for NEET exam are:
- Read multiple times [with learning assessment] Learning through writing.
- Revise as many times as possible.
- Test yourself in an exam stress environment.
- Be mentally prepared for the exam day.
- Revise regularly and never wait for the last-minute revision of the syllabus you covered for the exam. Regularly revise what you have studied and check your preparation level by taking tests. If you keep revising the topics and concepts weekly or fortnightly, you can save a lot of time for the final revision.
Aspirants should start solving the NEET question papers at least six months prior to the exam. Prior to solving the previous years NEET question papers, they should complete the NEET syllabus completely. Students may also solve sectional portions from the NEET question paper after completing the preparation for each subject. Ideally students should solve the NEET question paper in the exam timing, from 2 PM to 5 PM, without any break. This would help them get adjusted to the exam taking environment. Moreover, the test should be taken without any break. It must also be ensured that they take the test in a quite environment either alone or with a group of fellow NEET aspirants. Creating a simulated test-taking experience is important. The above factors must be followed to get the best out of the NEET question paper.

NEET 2024 Question Paper Structure
NEET 2024 question paper had a total of 200 questions, but candidates had to answer only 180. There were two sections in each subject, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Candidates had to answer 35 questions from section A of each subject and 10 questions from section B of each subject. It must be noted that section B of each subject had 15 questions, but candidates had to answer only 10. How to calculate Score using NEET Question Paper 2024 and Answer Key PDFs
Candidates can use the NEET 2024 question paper and answer key PDFs to understand their performance in the exam, i. e how many questions were marked correctly and so.
