Review of Gobardanga Hindu College.
Placements: There was no placement option. You completed your degree and had to find your path. This was a semi-government college. If you wanted to do something after your degree, students had to find it on their own. The college didn't help in any way. Apart from that, everything else was good.
Infrastructure: There were hostel facilities here. The food was very good. There was a playground next to it and a market within 200 meters. There were completely separate hostels for boys and girls. Most students here came from the local area, so the hostel was not very crowded.
Faculty: Teachers were good. They explained everything well enough. They didn't get bored even if you asked many questions, and they were very knowledgeable. They taught every task in the practical room, and everyone got a chance to work. They made suggestions on the university exams within their responsibility.
Other: It was a very large campus, with Bachelor's, Master's, and B.Ed courses all in the same place. There were two big playgrounds, one for football and one for cricket. There was a big garden and a cool water system. The classrooms were neat.

Review of Gobardanga Hindu College.
Placements: 85% of students got placed in our course. 3.60 LPA is the average package offered in our course. L&T, Wipro, TCS, HCL, and Infosys recruit from our college. Roles offered are research scientist, lab technician, teacher, clinical research associate, and IT.
Infrastructure: The college lab provides us with all kinds of facilities from every department. Especially library is good and all types of books from any stream are always available. Some classrooms and libraries have AC. There is free Wi-Fi in every building. There are separate buildings for boys and girls and security is very tight. In short, good service in hostels. There is a special cook in the mess and almost all types of food are available in the canteens, a peaceful environment to spend time. A variety of indoor and outdoor games are played. There is a system of pure cold water. Medical services are average.
Faculty: Every teacher is well-qualified and Ph.D. holder. They are very enthusiastic about teaching, especially in terms of operation in library work is very helpful for us. This course curriculum is very relevant for us and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too easy, not too difficult, it is medium. The pass percentage is between 85%-90%.
Other: I chose this course because I had a science background in 11th and 12th, and there are enough teachers here in this stream. There are some things missing in the labs, it would be better if they were made a little better. Various events are held every year.

I am dissatisfied because of the food quality in the canteen and the lack of instruments in the labs
Placements: In our course, about 10% of students were placed among all the students in the college.
Infrastructure: All the facilities were good there, including Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library. The hostel quality should be improved a little bit. They need to improve the quality of food in the canteen. The big dissatisfaction is the lack of instruments.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good at helping us learn. The semester exams were not so difficult for us. The overall pass percentage is about 70%. Teachers help us in different fields. The teaching quality was good there. That satisfied us more in theory classes.

It is good for non-professional studies.
Placements: I do not know about placements, surely. The highest salary offered is Rs. 6,000 per month and the average salary offered is Rs. 5,200 per month. It is not a professional course, and there is no certainty that students will get an internship during this degree course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. There is a library with quite a large amount of books. There are also physics and other labs. There is no hostel in this college. Mostly cricket and football are played in this college.
Faculty: Teachers and professors in our college are very helpful to us in solving problems related to education. They are very much knowledgeable. Most of them are PhD holders. It makes us ready for different industries. Exams are curriculum-based. We have monthly basis exams. We are instructed about our syllabus very well. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was not a very good student from the beginning, so I have to choose one of the easy ways of higher education, and besides, I can apply for SSC further times. The whole infrastructure is not so good to talk about, so changes can be done from various aspects. Several events, fests, and extracurricular activities are organised here.

Review of Gobardanga Hindu College.
Placements: As it is not any professional degree course, it is not mandatory that only by completing this we can get any job or placements. Along with our bachelor's degree from this college, we need to prepare for other external competitive exams (private or government). Specifically, there is no campus recruitment facility here. If anyone wants any internship, he or she has to qualify and earn that on his/her own. In the job field, you can be a manager in any private company, an officer in state police, bank jobs, and other competitive work field jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college is NAAC accredited 'A'. Infrastructure and course facilities are enough comfortable, though they don't provide a Wi-Fi connection in our college, we have a hygienic canteen, library, fully equipped lab, large classrooms and huge numbers of rooms. There is a big playground. Sports activities are on your own.
Faculty: As per the UGC guidelines and West Bengal State University guidance we have our semester as well as internal tests. Here teaching quality is normal as in any other college. Most of the teachers are not of Ph.D. level. But some faculty members are very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is general and syllabus basis. Semester exams are not so tough if you take gentle preparation.
Other: After the 12th board exam, B.Sc. or B.A. or B.Com are mostly chosen courses. Pursuing this allows you to get ready for other competitive exams for government and private jobs. The bad thing is there is no job assurance in this field. College fests are very few.
