The AP EAPCET 2026 application portal is now closed for Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology admission to the BE/BTech and BPharma courses. The exam for BE/BTech is scheduled from May 12 to May 15, and on May 18, 2026, followed by the BPharma exam on May 19 and May 20, 2026.

A few more updates are given below:

The AP ICET 2026 application window is now closed for the admission to the MBA/PGDM course. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 2, 2026.
The GATE COAP 2026 registration link is active for admission to ME/MTech programmes. The GATE COAP 2026 round 1 window to view offers and make a decision will be opened on May 11, 2026 (10 AM).

Genuine review of GIET college.

Placements: My batch is from 2021 to 2025. Overall, classes were going well, but placements were low when compared to other universities. Academics were good, but the fee was very high, and the security of the college was very strict. The lowest package was 3 LPA, and the highest was 6 LPA, even though skilled persons remain jobless.

Infrastructure: Cultural activities were good in the college. When it comes to the hostel, the food was average, and the infrastructure was good. The classrooms, library, and canteen were very near the blocks and good. They allow sports in cultural activities only, but not for the leisure period in college.

Faculty: Teachers were helping, whatever they contributed to academics, it was going well, and when it came to placements contribution was very low. They don't allow for sports, and some of the teachers have low knowledge, they came to college only for timepass.

Other: This college was not worth the money, fee is very high. They can improve their surroundings by modular changes.

I am fully satisfied because of the faculty.

Placements: The placement percentage is high. Around 75 - 89% of students were placed by companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, and Accenture. The moderate average packages are 3.5 LPA - 7.5 LPA with a mix of high, up to 20-30 LPA. There are enough packages for average students; that's all.

Infrastructure: The college has diverse courses with good facilities like labs, a library, and sports, on a large green campus. Its hostels provide basic furniture (bed, table, cupboard) with options for AC/non-AC, Wi-Fi. There are separate messes, though the food quality receives mixed reviews, emphasising affordability and central location.

Faculty: Teachers were the very best for students. Faculty members are very close to students for both study purposes and events and entertainment. They are also the most experienced, with separate faculty belonging to separate courses. Finally, I will tell you that the faculty members are excellent.

Other: I opted for this course to become a software engineer. Most subjects are very good at my college.

The libraries are filled with knowledge books and technology books, and the games and sports are conducted by the college management.

Faculty: The teachers are really helpful for our semester examination. Teachers are really knowledgeable and qualified. The teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. There is no difficulty in the semester examination of our college because of the friendly faculty and good subject explanation, and the pass percentage of the semester is above 90 percent.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are really good and excellent and more attractive to see and the facilities are too good. The Wi-Fi signal is good and the labs have good equipment and the library feel with lot of knowledge books and technology books. Food availability in the mess is too good and tasty and medical facilities are really excellent and take care of students. The main thing that college management encourages the students for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were highly capable and the quality of teaching was excellent. The faculty members were student friendly and supportive. The course curriculum was relevant and helped students become industry ready. Because of the effective teaching methods, semester examinations were not difficult, as subjects were explained in an easy to understand manner. This made it easier for students to pass exams and achieve a good CGPA. The overall pass percentage was above 80 percent.

Faculty and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Only 12 percent of students got placed in campus placements, and the companies offered 3.1 LPA to 5.5 LPA. There are no students selected for internships. The roles offered in the companies are junior developers, coders, and testers. The recruiting companies of my course in my college are Tech Mahindra and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: All facilities are available. The library is available at our college. The hostel is good, but the food served is not good. The canteen and medical facilities are available. There are separate boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel. Sports are not available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers explain every topic in the course and how to achieve your goals to get a job on campus. Semester exams are not difficult. The pass percentage is 60 percent. The course is relevant to every CSE student. It makes students industry-ready. The examination is very strict.

Other: I opted for this course because the present generation is about software, and I want to become a software engineer.
