A honest review of GCE Thanjavur

Placements: I am studying in this college for the academic year 2021. My seniors told me that placements would increase by 2025 because this college was started in 2012. But only 4 students of a batch were placed in an average company so far. Others were going for off-campus interviews.

Infrastructure: The hostel and its food were the main problems here. They don't give quality food here. They often change the food timetable. That makes you too stressed out. I'd rather suggest taking a room in a nearby town and coming to college as a day scholar. Here you are also required to use personal transport because the bus transport frequency is once an hour.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. There are many faculty members who help you with your studies. But in this college, updates about exams and important events are not promulgated in time. For instance, they inform about Saturday's holiday on Saturday morning itself. That is the main problem here.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply.
