The college is good for studying and placement purposes.
Placements: 95% of students got placed through my course, with the highest package of 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, and Google. 40% of students secured internships. Final year CGPA determines placement chances. Campus selection begins at the start of the fourth year, and almost everyone gets a job.
Infrastructure: The college has well-equipped CSE laboratories and a well-designed library. Hostel facilities are not within the college, but a canteen is available. The campus supports sports and games, with NCC training provided by experienced faculty. Mechanical and EEE labs are highly equipped.
Faculty: Experienced teachers are available, providing a thorough core education. The syllabus for exams is well-defined, with strict invigilation. The pass percentage in each subject is above 50%. Attendance must be at least 80% in each subject, and total attendance should exceed 80%.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides quality core education and certifications. Efforts to improve gym facilities and indoor games are ongoing. Theta 2k25 is an event that keeps the campus exciting throughout the year.

There is good percentage of placements in our college since 2020 to 2025, nearly 85 to 90%.
Placements: The highest CTC offered is 48LPA. The lowest CTC offered is 3LPA. Average CTC is 7 LPA to 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Deloitte, etc. The internship conversion rate e.g., 70% of students secured internships. Companies might include Google, Accenture, HCL, Startups, and Core companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious, equipped with smart boards/projectors, proper ventilation, and seating arrangements. Laboratories are well equipped with updated instruments, software, and systems specific to the course. Campus wide Wi-Fi with decent speed, computer labs also provide high speed internet. It has a central library with large collection of textbooks, reference books, journals print and online, e resources like IEEE/Elsevier, and reading halls. It has dedicated seminar halls, discussion rooms, and research facilities for students. We have on campus health center with qualified doctors and nurses, 24X7 ambulance service, and tie ups with nearby hospitals. We have outdoor facilities cricket ground, football field, basketball, volleyball, tennis and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, approachable, and well qualified, with many having advanced degrees and industry/research experience. They are knowledgeable in their respective fields, and most of them put effort into making concepts clear. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is updated in line with industry requirements and includes core subjects, electives, and practical labs. It also integrated projects, internships, and sometimes industry collaborations, which help students gain real world exposure. The semester exams are very difficult. 50% is the pass percentage.
Other: The curriculum is well structured and covers both fundamentals and advanced topics. Faculty members are knowledgeable and approachable. More focus on hands on industry projects. Updated lab equipment and infrastructure. College organizes annual fests, technical symposiums, and cultural events that provide a platform to showcase talent. The student crowd is diverse, friendly, and enthusiastic, making campus life vibrant.

Absolutely satisfied with placements.
Placements: More than 95% of students are placed in our college course. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are IBM, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, etc. More than 93% of the students got internships from the CSE courses. Role offered is software developer.
Infrastructure: The quality and infrastructure of our college are very good. We have campus Wi-Fi, and the latest equipment in the labs and in the library. The quality of the food is good. The food available in the canteen is also good. We have medical facilities, and they also conduct sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are so helpful to us in our studying purpose, and they are so knowledgeable. The teaching skills of our staffs are awesome. Course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is above 92%. The faculty of the college is well-educated and professional staff.
Other: We chose the computer science and engineering program because it is our future, and I like the course very much, and need to improve the coding skills. The extracurricular activities are also available in our college.

The placements are improving tremendously and are helping the students in their careers.
Placements: 95% are placed. The highest salary is 19LPA, the lowest salary is 3.5LPA. Placements are excellent at SASTRA. Many multinational companies have visited Sastra and are eager about the students being really talented and very skilled for the placements.
Infrastructure: The facilities Available in SASTRA are very useful for the students, such as a big library which consists of thousands of books and many labs, especially the computer lab, which helps students to improve their knowledge, etc. Moreover, every floor has a water purifier with the facility of clean drinking water.
Faculty: The faculty members of SASTRA are well equipped and professional, and are Masters in their subjects. The curriculum followed by Sastra is very helpful for the students growth and enhancement, and to improve their skills. The timetable is also so perfect.
Other: I especially pursued Computer Science Engineering, and the faculty helped me so much to enhance my skills and knowledge.

Absolutely satisfied with the college. Passed out in 2025. Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Over 85% of the students get placed. The average package may vary from 3.5 to 4. Most of them were placed in IT roles. Most of the MNCs visit the campus for hiring, and some may offer both an internship and a full-time position. Some may offer only an internship.
Infrastructure: SRC campus is that there is no hostel facility, whereas it is provided at the main campus.
Faculty: Curriculum and the teaching quality are great. But compared to the main campus, the SRC campus lacks in infrastructure because it has limited strength for B.Tech. Only two courses are offered here in B.Tech, CSE and ECE, in the SRC campus for the B.Tech degree.

Sastra is the best place to learn and grow. The best students get admitted here.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placed this year. The highest package is 22 LPA, and I am not aware of the lowest package. Zoho, Deloitte, and Comcast are top companies. I think about 10% of students get internships. Roles like Data Engineer and Developer are offered. Packages are good.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi facility. A good library with many books that are useful for students and staff to improve their knowledge. The hostel is good, with good food and better exposure to new people and cultures. Sports and games are offered to both male and female students.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and good. Students must be capable of studying because subjects may be more for the engineering course. They must choose better courses that make students industry-ready. But, students should also become well-skilled by the second year itself to gain better opportunities.

You have chances of getting into SASTRA if your JEE rank lies between 20k to 30k. You have possibilities to get into SASTRA for ECE. Try up to the 3rd round of counseling, you have 80% chances of getting into ECE branch of SASTRA with your score.
