The professors here are well qualified and trained.

Placements: Actually, we didn't get our placements yet but in 2022, 100% students were placed and the current final years (2023) according to the Statistics of (September 2022) 72% of the students are placed. The highest package varies between 10-15 LPA, average being 5-7 LPA, the lowest package will be 3-4 LPA. Many top companies like Viasat, IBM, Robert Bosch, Zoho recruit from our campus.

Infrastructure: Talking about the facilities in Lab and college, we have all the facilities which is required for the course, and the alumni of our college our under process of implementing advanced lab facilities in college which will be very much useful for further research and development. We will have 24*7 Wi-Fi availability. The library is one among the least used great resource of GCT. It has books of all fields which will help us to master our field. GCT is the college which provides quality education and infrastructure for such low fees. The facilities in the hostel are very much good but the problem comes with the mess food, you will end up with sambar for at least 2 meals per day. The taste will not be too bad, but you will be bored in due course of time. Sports and games are being the life of many students in GCT. Like if you are interested you can go and take practice with your teammates and take part in matches etc.

Faculty: The professors here are well qualified and trained. You should always remember that they will help you. They keep on upgrading their knowledge to current world and guide the students. The course curriculum helps you to completely excel in the field of computer Science and engineering but it's entirely your sole responsibility to enhance your skills in your domain of interest side by side. Speaking about the semesters, you can even pass the exam if you dive into the book the day before if you have such talent. But the minimum pass mark is 50/100 for pen paper test and 25/50 for internal test. You will have relative grading system. These things are clearly mentioned in the curriculum of the college which will be available in the college website.

Other: GCT is all about self learning, you will not be spoon fed with your contents. Instead, you should develop interest in learning and start exploring the campus, then only you can survive in the campus. Unlike other colleges seniors are the greatest mentors here. So please do interact with your seniors and create a good connection with them.

Best for placements but bad for hostel students (girls).

Placements: About 80% of students are placed each year. The highest package of CSE is 8.4 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Bosch, and Walmart. As we are CSEians, the role that we are getting after placed is software developer.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is pretty good but the laboratories are poorly functioning and maintained. Library and classrooms are maintained properly. Hostel has all the basic facilities but not a sophisticated one. The food quality is average in hostel but canteen food is better. Students are regularly trained for sports and games.

Faculty: GCT has highly qualified and knowledgeable teachers. They are helpful whenever we need them and the quality of teaching is better. The curriculum is up to date. The syllabus is getting updated as of the world now. Semester examinations are hard to pass. The pass percentage is about 45 out of 100, and the evaluation of papers is strict.

Other: I chose this course as I am a CS student in 12th grade and followed up. I would suggest improving the practical ways of teaching. GCT has many clubs integrated into IT, and students are allowed to coordinate and participate in many competitions and events. Extra-curricular like dance and song are regularly practiced and monitored by seniors.

A campus where I love to study.

Placements: In the CSE department, 100% placement was recorded for this academic year (2021-22). The highest package being 18LPA and the lowest is 7LPA. Top recruiting companies include Zoho, Robert Bosch, TCS, and few startups of our college's alumni. Students who really had the spirit to learn stuff are provided internship by our college's alumni. Software Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Analyst and Full Stack Developer.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are awesome, and the wi-fi can be accessed by the student from any place inside the campus. Laboratories are equipped with high-speed local area network and the library has all the books with minimum 4-5 copies on each book. Hostel is not so great. First year hostel rooms are big enough for 5 students but only 3-4 are allowed per room. Second year hostel rooms are too small for 5 students and the third year hostel rooms can barely accommodate 3 students but 4 students are allotted per room. Mess food is average. We have a dispensary in case of health issues. Sports and games are encouraged in this campus.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful in learning and are more knowledgeable. Their preparation level is really good. The course curriculum is tough for a normal student but this college has the best students and hence the curriculum is difficult. From 3rd semester, there'll be 7 theory courses and 2 practical courses. Exams are very difficult. The pass percentage barely crosses 70% since the brightest students make through the exams.

Other: This campus is situated in the city premises yet, this campus is filled with lots of trees. You can always feel the morning breeze and bird chirps in the morning. Every department has its own department functions. In our department (CSE), we have 3 department functions and let's keep this a suspense for now.

Decent college for engineering.

Placements: The placement here is about 60-70%, and the highest package is 32 LPA this year, and the average package is 5 LPA, and I have no idea about the minimum package. Some of the well-known companies like Walmart, Tata, etc. come to recruit students for their company. And students from CSE, ECE, IBT, IT, and EEE had the highest placement.

Infrastructure: The hostel has no Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure is also not very well maintained. The walls have all gotten old, and the washrooms and toilets are not that clean. The college facilities are quite good; the classrooms are big enough, and the staff are also very warm and welcoming. If I had to talk about sports, then it's average when it comes to sports, and the mess and canteen food are not so good for our health.

Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified, and the teaching quality is above average. Within four years the students are mentally and physically prepared for their life, and the 2 and 3 years are the toughest for most of the students. The pass percentage is 50%, which is not very difficult for an average student to pass.

Other: The hostel infrastructure and food of the hostel should be changed and improved.
