It's a good college for those who need only to study. If you want to enjoy it, it's not recommended.
Placements: Around 80 students get placed out of 130. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The training and placement cell provides good support. Major service-based companies and a few product-based companies recruit students. The major roles offered are AI Engineer, Data Engineer, and Data Scientist. The internship rate is low. Cognizant and TCS are regular recruiters.
Infrastructure: The evening life is one of the best parts of this college. Students get free time to relax and enjoy. All basic facilities are available, including sports, outings, and medical facilities. The food is vegetarian and good. It is worth the money. Wi-Fi, hot water, and mini canteens for evening snacks are available inside the hostel.
Faculty: Teaching depends on faculty members. Most of the learning is through self-study, and students choose their own path. The curriculum is average. The syllabus is designed by the college faculty. The exam pattern is different, with scenario-based questions. Scoring internal marks is quite tough. Staff members are good.

Top college with the best placements in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: In my course, 70% of students get placed. The highest package is about 22 LPA at Juspay, and the lowest is 3 LPA. TCS, Zoho, Juspay, and Solitron are top companies. About 4% of students get internships at companies like Zoho and Juspay. The top roles offered are HR and software developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities in my college are not bad. The infrastructure for my course is excellent. Wi-Fi is limited. Classrooms are neat, and the library has AC. The hostel also has Wi-Fi, with fans and study lights. The quality of food is good sometimes. Medical facilities are good, and sports and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable with experience, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It also makes the students industry-ready. The odd semester is easy, and the even semester is tough, so it is a little bit tough. The pass percentage is 50%.

A good college to change one's life.
Placements: Around 60 to 70% of students are placed in the past year in my course. Most of the placements were based in the IT sector. The placements from core companies are less compared to IT companies. Around 70% of students got internships in IT companies, both product-based and service-based. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Zoho recruit freshers from our college. The top roles provided were Full Stack engineer, AI engineer, and web developer.
Infrastructure: In our college, we have specific labs for specific departments. They provide Wi-Fi all over the college, even in the hostel, with a 5GB daily data limit for each student's mail ID. Classrooms are good, with cameras, smart boards, and projectors in every class. There's a three-floor library where students can study peacefully without any external disturbances, with AC in the library. The boys' hostel is average with average food. There's also a medical center inside the college, and all sorts of games have specific coaches and specific playgrounds.
Faculty: All the teachers are helpful in teaching and well-qualified, and the teaching was good, which is easy for the students to understand. In the first year, the course was just basics, in the second year, the actual subject came in, and that too is good. 50% is the pass percentage.

A really inquisitive college that works on placements heavily, approaching education smartly.
Placements: The placements have been one hundred percent to this day. A separate placement training team is available which works on getting better offers over a line of income for almost every student. There's a limit at which our college accepts companies, making sure that our students get big salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is high-end, that offers nearly everything for the student to get better in their education. The hostel facility is truly impressive and the food is amazing. The college is modernizing every day, to meet today's teaching advancements.
Faculty: Very qualified professors are available, with the least qualification being a Ph.D. A smart way to approach the students has been input where videos are shown on the topic, to provide better and easy understanding for the students. I rate this way, truly amazing.
Other: I chose this course to excel in today's world and my college gives me the necessities and provides me with placements making sure that I'll have a great life afterward. There aren't much of many fests, so I'd suggest that, but there are a lot of scholarships available.

The campus has a bit of greenery and provides confirmed placements.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placements in our college. The highest salary package offered is 50 LPA. The average salary package offered is above 3 LPA. More than 50 companies visit the college and hire students every year. TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Amazon, Flipkart, and many startup companies visit the college. Roles offered are data analyst, data scientist, game developer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have all specialized labs with high infrastructure. Our college is well-known for its infrastructure. We have biometric attendance not hourly like other colleges. The campus is very green. It provides a pleasant atmosphere. We have a nice cafeteria. There is a mess inside the campus.
Faculty: Our staff members are very experienced. They teach through smart boards. There is no use for chalk pieces. Here, we do not need a course to access the lab. Any department student can access any lab according to their interests and develop their skills. Semester exams are easy as we have well-experienced staff to guide. The pass percentage is 50%. Our college is under Anna University's guidance.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in coding. I am curious about learning artificial intelligence when I visit the college. This college is close to my heart, so I chose this.

Self study is very important.
Placements: Every students will get placed for sure. 50% of students will get placed over a salary package of 5 LPA remaining below IT, Mechanical, civil, mechatronics are the slow running departments. Even they are also not placed in IT companies with their basic coding skills.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in BANNARI AMMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY is heaven. Everywhere you see around is green. Campus is full of trees. It is great atmosphere to study. There will be Wi-Fi's everywhere but airtel tower signal is very poor same in academic blocks as well as hostel. Food is average.
Faculty: Self study is best over here. Teaching by faculty members is not up to the mark. You need to research on your own to gain knowledge. Exams are also not that standardized as it is an autonomous college. Instead of internal marks you will be having reqard points which is really hard to gain.

It is a good place to become an engineer.
Placements: Placements are good. Almost 90% of students will be placed. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Amazon, etc. Nearly 50-60% of students get internships opportunity, if they work for them. Our course is new to our college, almost data scientist will be the role offered to students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a top-notch infrastructure. All the laboratories have Wi-Fi facilities. Plenty of systems are available for work. The environment is clean, and the library has every facility including Wi-Fi and systems. But while coming to hostel life, mess food quality is decreasing daily. All other facilities are good in the hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful always, not every staff holds Ph.D. but some are there. They are always helpful. Students have an updated curriculum and it is related to our core subjects. Exams are conducted in a correct manner. But the only thing is that students will have much work pressure. Exams will be somewhat tough. But the pass percentage is good.

I was absolutely dissatisfied with faculty and the good placements in 2024.
Placements: Roles were not offered in my course. All companies hired students for similar roles, such as support roles. Development roles were rare. A few development companies came, but they hired employees in single digits. Internships did not help here. Most students studying at this college ended up working in service-related companies, including Accenture, TCS, and Cognizant. These companies hired employees in bulk.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and labs were good at Bannari Amman Institute, but the way they used resources was not effective. This made the institute like other regular institutes. There was no technical improvement at the institute unless you worked hard to improve.
Faculty: Some teachers were helpful and knowledgeable, but most were not highly qualified and did not seem to have knowledge in any particular field. Semester exams were not difficult here. The difficulty level ranged from easy to intermediate and was not very hard. The pass percentage was above 80%.
Other: I chose AI and this course to learn and gain deeper knowledge about AI and ML. But in the end, I gained only a narrow understanding of what AI and ML are. You had to gain knowledge on your own.
