B.Sc. in Nursing - Batch of 2028
2.2
The college is not really worth spending that much amount on, its hostel has many restrictions.
Placements: The 1st batch of CON will pass out this year, and there are no placements provided by the institute for the students. No companies visit. Internships are given, which are unpaid and in their own hospital. This year, it will be decided what offers they can provide to the students.
Infrastructure: The hostel is the worst thing about this college. The staff of the mess are not fair and tend to judge girls. They also don’t maintain the hygiene of the food. The drinking water is not safe to drink; the water appears yellow in color. The hostel is the worst.
Faculty: Faculty members of the institute are well educated. They all have PhDs and Master’s degrees from different universities. The college follows the INC (Indian National Council) syllabus. The exam is conducted by AVBMU University at different centres, which are allotted by the university itself.
Other: The course is best and has the required skills, and the hospital is well developed with a very high patient flow at this institute. I chose it to grab skills.

The college is not a good place to spend that much money, its hostel is full of restrictions.
Placements: There is one batch which is passed. There is no placement for passing students. They don't even provide a stipend to the interns or the nursing students. There is one batch which is passed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is well-developed. The hostel of the college is also developed and has facilities with Wi-Fi, etc. The food quality is average. They maintain all the hygiene during the preparation of food. They also have their wet canteen at an affordable price.
Faculty: The faculty members of the institute are well educated, they all have PhDs and Masters holders from different universities. The college follows the Indian National Council syllabus. The exam is conducted by AVBMU University in different centres, which are allotted by the university itself.

Review of Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida.
Placements: In an MBBS course, there is no placement guarantee as such. What we do get is a fixed internship for 1 year after our course gets over. During our internship, we have to work at our hospital in different departments as there is a clinical rotation. We get to learn a lot of our practical skills during this internship. The stipend during an internship is the same across all the medical colleges in UP.
Infrastructure: The labs are very well equipped, with new instruments available for us to use. Our labs are also in association with ICMR. The infrastructure of our hospital, college and hostel is impeccable, with the hospital building being fully air-conditioned. Hostels are available as a 2-seater option. We have access to a basketball court, a volleyball court and an indoor stadium for badminton and table tennis.
Faculty: The teachers here are very knowledgeable, with most of them being alumni of prestigious government medical colleges. They are quite helpful to students. Yes, the course is very relevant and makes the student aware of the practical studies from the first year itself. We have a proff system in which we give university exams only once a year to clear that year. The rest of the year, we have internal examinations. In the internal examination, passing the criteria was 50%.
Other: Events organized in our college are the annual sports and cultural festival called AAGHAZ. We also have various clubs, such as art club, dance club a cycling club, etc. The college is very well connected by road and metro to Noida and New Delhi.

Q:   How to reach GIMS Greater Noida?
A:

GIMS is located in the new urbanized hub of Greater Noida. For students arriving at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, it would take around 1 hour to reach GIMS campus. The work on the nearby Jewar Airport is also proceeding smoothly. For students arriving at the New Delhi Railway Station, it would take about the same amount of time of an hour to reach Government Institute of Medical Sciences.

Review of Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Kasna.
Placements: We offer a total of 100 seats every year. Students have to clear the NEET UG exam. This happens every year in India. One has to score higher marks to get admission to this college, as it is an excellent college in UP. The counseling process is important because nowadays, students prefer Greater Noida as their first choice.
Infrastructure: Our college provides excellent infrastructure. Air-conditioners are available in our hospital. The campus life is good. We have GBU Sarovar, which is an excellent place with peace and calmness. It refreshes us from the core and makes us feel happy. We usually sing songs and chill out there after exams.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They teach us the concepts at their best. Maximum teachers are from the Delhi-NCR region. They are very talented and have good clinical skills.
Other: I chose this course because I liked biology. The best part of being a doctor is the care and love we get from society, which motivates us more.

It is absolutely a very good college, and I recommend it.
Placements: There are no issues with placements. In MBBS, everyone eventually gets a job. A medical graduate can work in any hospital and get a minimum package of 6 lacs per annum, which can practically go up to 12 lacs per annum. This profession has no limits in terms of packages.
Infrastructure: Currently, GIMS college is fully functional in the building of Gautam Buddha University, but a separate building for GIMS academics has been proposed and is expected to be built soon. Till now, one person gets a single room in the hostel, but this may change soon. Sports facilities are excellent, and I can bet that no other medical college in UP has such sports facilities.
Faculty: As our director sir, Dr. (Brig.) Rakesh Gupta is a former faculty of AFMC. All the HODs are from AFMC or other renowned colleges. Due to its location in Delhi-NCR region, it has the advantage of no shortage of faculty as everyone wants to live near national capital.
Other: Every year, the medical college hosts its annual fest named Aagaaz, which includes both cultural and sports activities.

Fully satisfied with the college due to great faculty, infrastructure, no ragging culture!
Placements: Internship is compulsory for all students, while most prepare for NEET PG and other entrance, a good chunk are placed after MBBS itself in various job profiles, around 80-90% of the bunch looking for jobs are placed. The highest package was around 25 LPA while the lowest was 2 LPA, median is around, 10 LPA. Apollo Hospital are the top recruiters along with various government hospital. Top roles depend on the job sector and profile but MO (Medical Offices) are the most common for those looking for a job after MBBS.
Infrastructure: Relatively new university, the medical equipment is new and readily available, OPD, Laps, Dissection Hall, Classrooms, Library, Mess, Ground, Park, Sports are all available. Hostel is also nice and new, Gautam Buddha University is in its periphery so resources are shared. Multiple mess and canteens are available with good quality of food, the type range from North Indian cuisine to junk and South Indian. Functioning government hospital so patient loads is also good and no lack of technology. One of the best colleges in the state academics and infrastructure wise.
Faculty: Professors are well educated, qualified and knowledgeable, they are helpful and hold degrees of multiple levels, they are doctors and experts in their fields, teaching quality is top notch. Curriculum is sub par to that of AIIMS and makes the student ready to work in a hospital setting. Semester exams are relatively tough but needed and around 60-70% is the passing percentage. Satisfied with the level of education and it prepares the students to carry the mantle of being the Next generation of doctors quite well.
Other: It is a government medical college so the value for money has to be 10/10. I chose this course as the human body, the Science behind it, the curiosity, the nature of subjects and the psychology of human doctor relations excited me, I want to do my part in the society and help out. Best thing about the course are the level of respect you gain, you being equated to God is a big thing, it makes you proud and have a purpose. Various events and fests are held occasionally, campus crowd is decent. Connectivity is great!

Satisfied academically but campus life can be improved.
Placements: It is a nursing college so placements are not guaranteed. Our college and teachers are preparing our senior batch by conducting mock interviews and skill-based certificate courses. The first batch of our course has not graduated from our college yet. We have been informed that hospitals like Global and Apollo will be conducting interviews here.
Infrastructure: Our nursing college is currently located in the basement of our parents' hospital but a new nursing college building is being built in GBU and our college will be shifting there in a few months. We have access to the MBBS colleges' anatomy and physiology labs. We also have our own library, skill lab, obs lab, and child health nursing lab. Clinical exposure is good since the hospital has good patient outflow but it is a government hospital so specialty services are limited. Hostel and mess are just average with strict rules and limited outings.
Faculty: The faculty here is qualified, knowledgeable, and works in the best interest of the student. Our curriculum is well planned and implemented according to INC guidelines. Semester exams are conducted at the university level. The passing percentage of my batch in the last semester was 100 percent.
Other: Nursing allows constant interaction with the patients while working closely with other healthcare providers. I wish there were opportunities for specialty practices in Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, and OT. Student life is disciplined since the faculty is strict about the code of conduct and attendance criteria. Annual fests are conducted in February and that's where sports are concluded. Although medical theme-based days are organized through sit, poster competition, and rangoli competition. Scholarships are provided by the UP government on the basis of economic status. Being in NCR, many cafes, malls, and restaurants are accessible.

Placements: Good placement as it is a government college so you can get good a good placemt. Demanding course as every hospital need atleast 100 nurses so good. Many companies come but government job is more good option. They train you like this. Internship is of 6 months and good.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and good service for the success of the solution is to help and support system. There is no Wi-Fi but many labs. The patient flow is so good there is approximately 45000 patient per month and medical exposure is very good. Facilities is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and ofcourse qualified cooperative and teaching quality se good. Semester exa are good and pass percentage is 45%. Yes the curriculum is relevant and very good. You gain confidence in this thing. You get to do stage performance hosting.
