Gulzar Group of Institute is the best college in Ludhiana.

Placements: The placement is very good in our college; the college is affiliated with many MNCs and companies come to the college every semester for the placements with a good package and almost 70 percent of students get placements every year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good at the college and campus is also good at the college. All the facilities are available at the college like library, grounds, etc. The facilities at the college are very good and , in my opinion, the best.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to the students and they have lots of knowledge. They teach at the best theoretical level in the classroom and show lots of effort in the classroom. The semester exams at the college are very easy to pass since the teachers are very good.

Other: I chose this course because my personal goal is to become a good engineer and gain a lot of practical knowledge .

Review of Gulzar Group of Institutes.

Placements: Civil companies do not visit our college for placements because students have backlogs in the semester. The maximum salary offered to freshers is Rs. 25,000 per month. Student's don't get an internship from any companies because construction companies do not visit our college to provide an internship for us.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Facilities available in our college are better. Labs are better sometimes. Wi-Fi facility is not working properly. Food served in the canteen is great. Sports are much better than before the 1st year. Games are few, ,but the students take part in games with dedication.

Faculty: Teachers are always helpful to us at any time. Students become a little industry-ready because some students don't take teachers word seriously.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like to build new things in engineering. They should proper provide time for students for sports at least 3 days per week Scholarship process in our college is better than other colleges, but last year they were more complications.

Absolutely bad in the education point of view but good infrastructure and extracurricular activities

Placements: There is a big advertisement by the college about placements, but it is not true. In fact, I have undergone some fake interviews and placement drill 2-3 times. I cleared those interviews, but I did not get any information after my selection. It was disappointing, and I lost my hopes.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is good and has all the basic and advanced requirements that are needed. Facilities like internet, labs, workshops, and everything are good. There is a good canteen. A library is available with all the books, magazines, and newspapers. But a big proper sports ground is missing.

Faculty: The faculty is the worst part of the college. They are not good and under-educated. Out of every 6 faculties, 4 of them are just B.Tech degree holders teaching B.Tech classes, which is against the university norms (PTU). The university course curriculum is good, and everyone can check it online.

Other: The college administration is good in conducting each and every necessary event in the college. This is the thing I like the most in the college. All extracurricular activities are there like quiz competition, dancing, singing, ramp walk, live band, etc. An annual function named Robomania is organised, but they charge Rs. 500 from each student, which is wrong.

Very dissatisfied from the college because of the faculty, placement and management point of view.

Placements: There are not too much placement opportunities for the students. Only few companies are invited or comes for placement but the companies are mostly want management students.there are not too much chances for the engineering students. The training and placement department is just for the formality there are not too much chances for the students for job.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. But for sports there are not too much space. There is no saparate ground for the athletics and cricket. There is only a football and basketball ground. there are less workshops and laboratorys. The laboratory's haven't sufficient material for the experiments to be performed.

Faculty: Overall faculty is average. Some of Teachers were helpful but some are not. Teachers are well qualified but don't have sufficient knowledge. Teaching quality is average but they don't know how to deliver the lecture. There is no faculty student ratio. Almost 1 teacher is provided over 60 students. Yeah there is one good thing that there are industrial visits are provided fir students.

Other: There are many events in the college for students. There are youth festivals, project festivals, robomania, technomania and many more events for the students. There are nothing surround the campus within the range of 4-5 km. There are no scholarships are provided to students from the college side. There are many extracurricular activities such as western dance, bhangra, folk activities, singing, mimicry, painting, photography etc.

Satisfied in terms of courses available.

Placements: Placement cell in our college is organising many placement programmes. But most of them offered small amount of salary. MNCs are not common in our college and average upto 30-40% get placements or internships. The highest salary offered is 6 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi campus, AC classrooms. Canteens and hostel and not up to the mark. There is facilities of ATM, library, medical, sports but the space is congested for such a college. Hostels mess is not good. Space for games and sports is small. Labs are good. We have KUKA robots in Automation and Robotics brance.

Faculty: Faculty members are good but for civil its not upto the mark. Industry expose is there once in a semister only. Student-faculty ratio 100:1. We are under Punjab technical university and follow their curriculum. I think the curriculum is quite useful and good.

Other: Many extracurricular activities are done in and outside the college including events and college fest like ROBO MANIA.

Awesome faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements in the college are good. The packages of many students are above 4 lakhs per annum in the engineering stream and in MBA, maximum students get above 6 lakhs per annum. The students went to information and technology sectors and are very happy because of their favourite job offers.

Infrastructure: It is a Wi-Fi campus with a lot of facilities like a gym, hostel, sports competition and other activities like rangoli, mehndi competition and many more. Fully vegetarian canteen and hygienic mess for hostlers. Other activities like star night and hostel night are also organised by the management.

Faculty: The faculty members are very good and most of them are experienced and fully qualified. They are very helpful in making your thesis and projects. Smart classes are available for presentation and technical teaching. Teachers also provide industrial visits to get more knowledge about the particular fields.

One of the best engineering colleges.

Placements: The placements after the completion of graduation from this college are good. Every year most of the students get placements from the college. The reputed companies visit our college regularly to pay the attention of students for good jobs. The students get chance to visit the good companies during the studies to be aware of all the good companies.

Infrastructure: Apart from education here infrastructure is very well conditioned. The campus has Wi-Fi facility. Free medical facilities are available here. All the modern equipment are available on our campus to satisfy the needs of students in every way. Separate boys and girls hostels are available for the students here and well-maintained playground also. Students get daily health tips, and well-equipped gymnasium is provided here to be healthy.

Faculty: Mostly here the faculty members for B.Tech courses are M.Tech qualified with great experience. They have well-behaved skills apart from education. They are very much interactive with all the students. Apart from quality education here our faculty focus on the basic human values and professional ethics which is of the great concern of the modern society.
