Prestigious college and proud to be a student of this college.
Placements: Our 2k24 batch contains 250 members and all seats are filled. The students who studied in our college reached greater positions after their internship. The passed-out batches are working in top hospitals around the world. Our college offers MBBS and paramedical courses. Each course has its own value, and all of them have good placements.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure, and each classroom has AC. As labs are important to each student, we can get all information about the subject from those labs, and faculty will make us do all the experiments. Faculty members clarify all our doubts and teach everything clearly so that everyone can understand the chapters. Faculty members are available at all times in their respective departments. The hostel has Wi-Fi facilities, washing machines, and geysers available. The mess food is eatable, and the canteen also has affordable prices. Regarding sports and games, the 1999 batch students recently provided a good playground in the hostel for volleyball and badminton.
Faculty: As the teachers who will teach us have also studied MBBS, they know how to teach and what to teach to make the students learn the subject clearly. Internal exams are held two times a year, and after that, final exams are held. Internals are important because they help students learn how to attempt the questions in a particular pattern. The pass percentage for each internal is 50% of total marks. The MBBS course has many opportunities, and the curriculum of the 5 years is very useful for students to learn all the skills to look after a patient.
Other: The doctor profession is the most noble profession, and the doctor is the first person to save people after God. Doctors who make money with the lives of people should be abolished from society. In our college, every year there is a fest, and the campus has a garden where all students get good memories. Scholarships and fee reimbursements are also available for students.

    Excellent clinical and patient exposure.
Placements: Well, we all know, that MBBS is a 5.5-year course, out of which 4.5 years would be academics and 1 year would be internship at the hospital affiliated with the college. Guntur Medical College students have to do an internship in the government hospital GGH for a year. During the 4.5 years of an academic course, students won't be earning at all. However, there are government and private scholarships available for eligible students. During the internship, students will be paid a decent amount of stipend which is around Rs. 20, 000 per month. However, it varies from state to state (Rs. 7, 000 to Rs. 40, 000).
Infrastructure: Guntur Medical College is the 2nd oldest medical college in the state. It is established around 76 years ago. It would be more like a museum or any monument rather than a fancy architectural building like most of the other private medical colleges. Basic facilities, like classrooms and library, are decently maintained. Ventilation and other facilities of the classroom depend on the department of the particular subject. Other necessary facilities, like mess, canteen, etc., are average. Out of all, the garden of the college would be a highlight. Greenery is well maintained in the campus surroundings, giving a feeling of refreshing.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced and qualified. The teaching quality is equal or even better when compared to any other standard medical college. Coming to curriculum, 4 years ago, the latest curriculum CBME is introduced across the country. Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) is a student-centered curriculum and is rather lesser dependent on faculty. This curriculum aims to mold Indian medical graduates compatible with any other foreign medical graduate. Exams are difficult due to a vast syllabus, however, regular learning helps a lot. Especially, during 1st year of MBBS is more tougher.

I am dissatisfied because of the high patient crowd and a lack of some facilities.
Placements: There are 300 students in every batch now. But in my batch, there are 250 students. We don't get any packages. We only get a stipend after 4 years of the MBBS through internships. In internships, we will get a stipend of Rs. 26,000 per month for about 12 months. After internships, we have to write the NEET PG entrance exam. In that exam, we have to score a good rank to secure a PG seat in a good college.
Infrastructure: Men's hostel is far away from the college, and that is about 5 KM. We have to travel 5 KM every day to go to college. Bus availability is present only for the first-year students. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students should have to buy a bike for traveling to college. Mess in men's hostel is the worst. It's not sponsored by the government, but students have to recruit them as a contact.
Faculty: If we ask anything, then faculty members are ready to explain everything. Teaching quality is okay, not that much excellent, but okay. We don't have semesters and semester exams. We only have annual exams and internal exams. Our annual exams are so difficult. We have to score 50% to pass exams.
Other: I chose this course to become a doctor and serve the people. The best thing about my course is treating people with zero cost. Every year our college organises one fest and a sports event. Batch-wise competitions are conducted. It's awesome and enjoyable.

Absolutely satisfied, Great faculty, and nice garden.
Placements: After qualifying entrance NEET 250 members will be entered into the college as a batch. Where roll numbers will given according the first letters of their full name. After finishing MBBS there will be one year internship where students work at local hospital GGH, government general hospital. Another entrance exam should be attempted to qualify for PG.
Infrastructure: Since the college was built in 1946 that it is before independence, infrastructure is not upto the mark. Although classrooms and labs are being renovated. All the labs and lecture halls are available, spacious and are maintained well. GMC also has library where all the books, magazines, articles are available. It also has a very large auditorium for events and fests. Classrooms have AC and projectors.
Faculty: All the teachers who teach students are well educated and have finished their Masters. Each department has a HOD (Head of Department), 3-5 associate professors, 3-5 assistant professors and 5-10 postgraduate. There will be internal exams for every 3 months and finals at the end. Labs have lab technician who guide during practical. Each subject has 2 papers that is paper I and paper II. Each paper is for 100 marks and pass mark is 50 for each paper and 100 for the subject.
Other: There will be many events like freshers day, convocation day, college day. Sports will be conducted every year and prizes will be distributed. There will be hospital visiting and early clinical exposure. Dissection classes will be for 2 hrs daily.

I am satisfied with this college because of its faculty members.
Placements: The placement percentage of our college is 100%. Almost 100% of students got internships from our college. It is a good college. The average salary package offered ranges between 15 LPA - 20 LPA. The highest salary package may be in crores per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available 24X7. The food served in the mess is good. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel. The hostel facilities are good. The hostel has good security and is clean. It is a prestigious college. They gave many good doctors not only in India but in foreign countries. Our college has a well-established library.
Faculty: Our teachers are good, well-experienced, and well-qualified. They are always available to help us. The teaching quality is good. Our course has many students. Semester exams are conducted in our college.
Other: A scholarship facility is available in our college. Extracurricular activities are held in our college.

    Absolutely a good college.
Placements: It's a wonderful college for MBBS. Not only in studies but also in other activities like research. You can explore various opportunities. And the hospital is very good for clinical practice, as the patient flow was very high. I would recommend this college for MBBS aspirants.
Infrastructure: The hostel is average. But when compared to other colleges, it is good. Water facilities are good. Mess is okay. A canteen is available in both the college and hostel. 10 minutes is the distance between the college and the hostel. Easy ways of transportation are available. Medical facilities are very good, even at midnight.
Faculty: As you know, MBBS is a professional degree. It is time for self-learning. Teachers will teach nicely, but it heavily depends on self-study. As the semester exams are very hard to pass but not impossible, with proper guidance from professors and seniors, you can easily pass the exams.
Other: Everything is not about money. Sometimes we will feel like we have to serve society and the needy. So I chose this course as a pathway to serving the people. I am very glad that I have selected this college. Here we can learn a lot, not only about studies but also about life, friends, and connectivity.
