While the NEET exam day is nearing it is advisable that students should manage their time effectively. Read here to get some useful tips for preparing for NEET 2025 exam in one month.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025. With less than a month left to prepare for the exam, it is high time that aspirants shift the gear of their NEET preparation and leave no stone unturned to bridge any gap in completing the NEET syllabus or understanding the exam pattern. This article brings the strategies students must follow in the last 30 days before NEET 2025. In the last month before the exam, it is time to start revision for each important topic of the NEET 2025. This is when most candidates realise that so much has to be done and the time left is not enough. A systematic approach during the last 30 days of NEET preparation will help them complete every section and topic in time. So, how to prepare for NEET 2025 in one month?
By this time, aspirants must have completed the entire NEET syllabus from NCERT and other NEET preparation books. If not complete, most aspirants must have covered a larger portion of the NEET syllabus. The first thing that you must remember at this point is that this is not the time to start anything new. Whatever has been done till now, is what you must revise for NEET. Hence, the last month has to be dedicated primarily to revision and mock tests.

How to Prepare for NEET 2025 in One Month?
Follow the methods and steps given in the pointers below to plan your NEET 2025 preparation effectively.
Preparing A Timetable
To prepare for NEET exam in the remaining one month, the first step is to create a timetable for these 30 days. Create a realistic timetable, smartly dedicate time for each subject and for solving question papers and mock tests. Paste it at your study table or anywhere where you will see it often.
The official website of NEET 2026 will be announced by NTA. The URL of the website in 2025 was neet.nta.nic.in. It was changed from that of 2024, which was neet.ntaonline.in. The website is hosted by NTA.
I will not say, it is impossible. It is possible, but you have work very hard and must give your 200% effort to crack these competitive exams. In my opinion, it is better to take coaching for NEET exam. Coaching makes your exam preparation easier. Sometimes, if you get lots of doubt then you can get it cleared by your tutor who has got the subject knowledge.
Students get individual attention at coaching institutes and they focus on learning and development of students as per their requirement. Coaching centers also teach you a lot of tips, tricks and time management that help you to crack NEET exam. But, you have to be careful in choosing a right and resourceful coaching center, as there are many fraud coaching centers that works for money and not for delivering knowledge to the students.
Revision
The first thing to be incorporated in this one month before NEET 2025 is ample time for revision. By now, aspirants must have figured out the amount of time required to revise a subject or topic. Based on this, they can calculate the number of hours that they will need to revise all three subjects by dividing the total number of hours by 30. On average, one should be spending nearly six to seven hours on revision. This time is inclusive of all the breaks taken between two subjects/chapters. Therefore, aspirants must make the most of this time and minimise the time spent on breaks.

Mock Tests
The next part of the one-month preparation strategy is solving the NEET mock tests. At least three to four hours every day should be dedicated to solving mock tests during the last month of NEET preparation. Students don’t have to take a complete mock test every day as it can be exhausting. They can take three complete mock tests during the week. On the remaining days, they can take subject-wise tests. They will get you into the habit of solving the questions and improve your speed, ultimately benefitting test-takers on exam day. Since the structure of the exam was changed last year, it is important to take mock tests in the new exam structure. The full-length NEET mock tests must be taken in proctored mode, i.e. solving the complete NEET question paper in three hours without taking any break.

Time Management
By now, students must have taken ample mock tests and have decided on a test-taking strategy. As the total duration of NEET has decreased by 20 minutes, there should be a foolproof strategy to utilise each minute. According to experts, candidates must allocate some time for revision at the end of attempting all the questions. The first aspect of revision is to check the questions marked for trying later and attempting those. The second aspect of revision is to go through the attempted questions to ensure there are no silly mistakes.
Maths is not compulsory for NEET. You have numerical in Physics but you do not required Maths in Class 11 and Class 12 to solve those. If you studied Maths in class 10, then you can solve the numericals in Physics. Since NEET has Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects, it would be advantageous for you if you are a PCB student. Moreover, in case a candidate has studied PCM and not Biology, even as an additional subject, then he/she will not be eligible to appear for NEET exam. Hence, Maths is not compulsory, rather not required for NEET. But having basic mathematical knowledge and skills would be an added advantage.
Learning From Your Mistakes
Merely solving the mock tests is not enough. After taking each NEET mock test, one must get it analysed by experts or teachers to identify the weak areas that need to be worked upon. This will also help candidates decide on their NEET exam-taking strategy. One must also dedicate another couple of hours to analyse the mistakes that are causing them to lose marks. Also, they should pay close attention to those questions that they could not attempt in the mock test. Doing this will ensure that they do not end up committing the same mistakes on exam day. Along with expert analysis of mock tests, self-analysis and introspection on one's performance are equally important and necessary.

Recreational Activities
As they say, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Aspirants should dedicate an hour or two to the things that they like doing, such as sports, painting, watching movies and listening to music. This will break the monotony and will help them stay focused on their studies. This time can be incorporated in between revision and solving mock tests.

Get Ample Rest to Stay Fit
Though you might think of cutting on your daily sleep to study but it is not advisable. To perform your best in the exam and prepare well, you must get six to eight hours of sleep daily. You need to be healthy especially when the exam nears and on the exam day.
Stay focused
At the end of the day, you can’t control the results; you can only control your effort level and your focus.
-Ben Zobrist
The most important advise for students is that they should remain focused and disciplined. They should follow their timetable and do not skip the study time for other random things. Mental health is also important, they should remain positive and optimistic and believe that they can do well in the exam.

How do I prepare for the NEET during a BSc Preparation of NEET UG with your on going BSc Degree. There are two things involved and I'm going to give the answer in two fragments. SEE if you are going to do your BSc From a government college where you have to study and pass your sem/annual exam with practicals then it will be lil tough for you, then remember one thing don't make a mistake of studying in last month to take exam of your college bc it will only waste your time of one month which might be very crucial from perspective of NEET and it will be a hazard if sem/annual exam falls near your NEET exam. So study for college solely by attending lecture of your teachers in college and make their notes and you can bunk your college to prepare for NEET don't waste your time in making frnds in college and make a habit of studying for college BSc In only study hours of your college and rest of the time for NEET and make sure you dedicate your focused I repeat focused 5-6 hour of time for NEET and increase it gradually. And for college exams don't take stress you have your notes just revise them before one week and you are good to go If you are doing your B.Sc. From private college then boom don't take any tension just talk to administration and you won't have to attend the college ( if they ask pay them if it's a small college they will accept the offer for 5-6k ) you don't have to attend the lecture and practicals too just go and take the exam and may be they will arrange something for you in exams too like cheating and all you will pass it without any tension. Although you can buy notes of subjects from market notes are available in market and study them before 2 weeks of your exam and you can study for your NEET exam. It would be tough to manage both of them but over-all it is rewarding so do it and ha! Don't take any pressure everything comes from practice and studying is a practice dude! Make a habit of doing meditation you will SEE the benefits within 30 days start with 5 minutes and gradually increase upto 15 minutes for first 30 days it will surely help in your studies. Don't fall for the trap that I can revise something in that 15 minutes or can chill by listening songs or watching videos nope don't do that mediation can ease your journey of preparation.
