According to NMC, total 1,37, 600 MBBS seats are there across 817 medical colleges for academic year 2025-26. Candidates will be allotted seats based on meeting the NEET cutoff and other eligibility and admission criteria of the individual Government Medical colleges. The All India Quota (AIQ) category will allow 15 per cent of the total seats in every participating medical college, and the rest 85 per cent seats are reserved for the state medical colleges for candidates belonging to the respective states.
