After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. To apply for admission at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), candidates must first qualify for the course-wise eligibility criteria and then apply for the programme online through the university's official website or other admission bodies. For, the BTech/BArch programme admission is done via the Joint Admission Counseling (JAC). Therefore candidates must visit the official website of JAC and register there by providing all the required details. For, BBA/ MBA candidates must apply through CMAC's official website. BTech course admissions are based on MAT,  CAT, and various other entrance exam scores. Candidates applying through the CAT must prepare well for the CAT exams. The NIRF ranked it 177 among engineering colleges in 2022. While in 2021, NIRF ranked IGDTUW 161st among the best engineering colleges in India and 7th in Delhi. It is India's first women's technical university. It ranked 101-200 globally for quality education and gender equality by Times Higher Education World Impact Ranking 2021.

For merit-based programs such as BBA and BArch, 85% in Class 12 can get admission at IGDTUW. But BTech, MTech, MCA, and MBA need entrance exams, and Class 12 marks will not be enough. Admission is through competitive exams such as JEE Main, GATE, and CAT. It is advisable to verify course-wise eligibility before applying.

The best course is B.Tech at IGDTUW. IGDTUW is known for its B.Tech placements and offers an average package of INR 19 lacs in B.Tech.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women cutoff 2024 has been released for BTech, Integrated BTech and BArch courses in the form of opening and closing ranks. As per the IGDTUW Round 1 cutoff 2024, the required rank to get admission into IGDTUW is between 13111 and 27900 wherein BTech in CSE is highly competitive among General category students under the AI Quota.

While comparing the IGDTUW CSE cutoff 2024 with the last two years, we can see that BTech in CSE has shown a declining trend in its Round 1 closing ranks. The Round 1 cutoff for the same course was 10672 in 2023 and 8401 in 2022 for the General category students for the AI Quota.

AIMA MAT releases the results phase wise. The exam is held in multiple sessions in February, May, September and December phases. So the results are released for all the sessions of a particular phase on the same day. The MAT February result of all sessions are released in March. The MAT May results are released in June and the MAT September result is released in October and MAT December results are released in January. Candidates who appear for the exam, can download their scorecard for their exam session from the AIMA MAT website. AIMA does not release cut offs for admission through MAT. It has no role in the MAT cut off determination. The participating institutes determine MAT cut offs on their own and as per their selection parameters and criteria.

No, MAT registration 2026 are now closed. The last date for PBT registration was February 23, 2026 and for CBT Registration was March 2, 2026.  GIBS Business School, like many other institutions, accepts MAT scores for MBA admissions. 

To get admission in IGDTUW for BBA programme candidates must have a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Also, candidates must register through Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC) by visiting the CMAC's official website for admission to BTech. To apply for the MBA course at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) candidates must visit the official website of  Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC). IGDTUW offers MBA admission via the CMAC website followed by counseling. As for the MBA+BTech progarmme candidates are required to visit the Joint Admission Counseling (JAC) official website. 

Admission to the BTech course at IGDTUW is through JEE Main scores, followed by counselling of JAC Delhi. The candidates should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Seat allotment is done on the basis of JEE Main rank, category, and availability. Candidates should register on the JAC Delhi website and go through the counselling procedure.
