B. Tech. in Automation and Robotics - Batch of 2028
4.0
Good infrastructure and facilities but not up to use.
Placements: Placements are not good in the college. The best placements are mostly off campus and I think 20LPA is the best on-campus package. Other than this there are good placements for AIML and AIDS and comparatively less for automation and robotics, and IIIT they get comparatively less.
Infrastructure: The whole campus has centralised AC with a great library and infrastructure in which we have equipment for all the labs in top-notch conditions. There are two libraries, one underground and one in the centre of the campus with a whole lot of books.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are good but exams are not so good for my course which needs to be more tech-driven. The faculty can be problematic sometimes like they give and check marks on the basis of students' attendance in their lecture and other than this they cut marks for basic word missing.

Facilities and faculty are good, placement is not that good, but yes, it can be.
Placements: In my batch, 50% of students got placed, and highest package is around 65 LPA, and lowest package is around 7 LPA. Students can get their internship from 2nd year, although percentage of internships is quite low, but yes, it will increase over the year, number of tech companies is larger.
Infrastructure: University School of Automation and Robotics offers a well-structured academic infrastructure to support the B.Tech in automation and robotics programme. Course is equipped with modern classrooms, specialized laboratories for robotics, automation, and embedded systems, as well as computer labs with updated software tools for simulation and design. The institute also encourages hands-on learning through workshops, industry projects, and research initiatives. In terms of accommodation, the university provides hostel facilities that are well-maintained and student-friendly, offering essential amenities such as furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, mess facilities, common rooms, and a safe environment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, although they are strict in terms of internal marks, but overall, teachers are very good in terms of behaviour and academics too. Obviously, the course is relevant and also there are many subjects like human ethics and soft skills that make a student industry-ready in all forms. Mid-semester is very difficult, and end-semester is in medium range like neither difficult nor easy. Passing percentage is 80%.

Great infrastructure and labs are available for everything, but campus sociability is low.
Placements: We are gaining the knowledge. About 60% or more students get placed, though it varies from branch to branch. The highest package, I guess, is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Basic automation and AI companies hire from here. Roles like cloud engineer, software developer, and similar positions are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great, maybe the most uniquely designed among all in Delhi. The canteen was recently closed but has reopened. It has spacious rooms. The food is average, not something to brag about, and the prices are normal now. They were inflated during my first semester but after complaints. This shows that the justice system here works well, and the prices were dropped down to normal.
Faculty: Faculty is good, with highly professional professors. There are various tech and non-tech clubs that makes students ready for the industry and extracurricular activities. Semester exams are decent so far. I haven't faced any difficulties in passing, but I still need to study. You can't just wander around. You need to show your work, only then does the university acknowledge it.

I am dissatisfied because of placement and faculty. The college has good infrastructure and faciliti
Placements: I am currently studying in automation and robotics branch. Around 30% of students were placed in automation and robotics branch in various companies. The highest package was around 18 LPA, the lowest package was 3 LPA and the average package is around 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include HCL, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very neat and clean equipped with centralized AC and smart boards. Wi-Fi is very fast and free for all students. The library is very big and mostly all books related to engineering are available. The hostel quality is very poor and mess food is horrible. The canteen food is expensive but average. Indoor sports hall is there for playing badminton and open ground for outdoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are fairly helpful and qualified. Average teaching quality. The curriculum is fairly relevant and makes the student industry-ready. Midsem and end-sem exams are held in the college and there are moderate to difficult levels. The pass percentage in this exam is around 90%.
Other: I am in the automation and robotics 2027 batch. I wish for more industry experience and practical knowledge should be provided to the students. There are many events held in the college with the main Anugoonj fest held yearly in Feb month and many teach fest held by respective clubs. You can get scholarships up to Rs. 50,000 if you have an ews quota.

Review of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - East Delhi Campus.
Placements: This year, the first batch of graduates from the college will be completing their studies. So far, there have been decent placements, with the highest package currently at 28 lacs, and the average package around 9 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include GoDaddy, RT Camps, TVS, TCS, and Infosys, among others.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. There is Wi-Fi in every class and their connectivity is also very good. All the books are available in the library as well, sports are not that developed yet but everything will develop in future. The hostel room is decent and its mess is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are also good, very helpful, and well-knowledgeable. Currently, the courses in this college are new but going forward there are lots of jobs because of artificial intelligence and robotics. Right now I'm in 1 semester and 1 sem exam was not difficult but it was moderate. The passing criteria are 40 marks in all subjects.
Other: I chose this course because I was very interested in robotics, etc. I thought that placement in this would be very good as it would have some software use also then it was very helpful.

The most beautiful college of East Delhi.
Placements: As this is the very first batch of this college to be placed, the percentage is not so high. But, after analyzing the trend and the quality of education here, the percentage is expected to go much higher. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Which is pretty good for a college that has just started.
Infrastructure: Almost everything is available. which students may need in their day-to-day life, whether it be late-night food delivered to the doorstep or washing machines. Water has been provided for anyone who needs a water cooler. Hot water services are available for the winter season. Rooms are quite spacious and fully hygienic. Everything is solar-powered, meaning the whole campus is green, with no carbon footprints. Overall, the hostel is highly recommended to anyone wanting to take up this college, as it is only a 2-minute walk to the college. The food quality is also acceptable, meaning it is on par with what one can expect from a hostel mess. The hostel didn't disappoint me at all.
Faculty: College faculty members are exceptional.I cannot say the same for all the teachers. Teaching of some teachers cannot be understood by anyone. But every college has such faculty members, and our college is no exception. College is a combination of 4 schools School of Automation and Robotics, School of Design and Innovation, School of Mass Communication, and USAP (Architecture).

Not satisfied in many fields like canteen, sports facility, no stationary shops in college, etc.
Placements: As our college is new, till now any batch didn't get placed, but still many students of the fourth year got PPO, and many students of our college are doing internships off campus. But I would say that if a student is taking admission on the basis of the return on investment at this college, that can be a great choice, as in the future we would have amazing placements.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is so good; it has completely advanced infrastructure. Our buildings and campus are so beautiful, but yes, there are WiFi issues most of the time and rest, classrooms and libraries are nice. Hostel facilities are mainly provided to outside Delhi students but after some seat-filling rounds, some seats get vacant in hostel and Delhi students can also take it.
Faculty: As with every college, most teachers are not interested in teaching. The same goes here and our courses are combinations of many courses so it's tough to qualify exams. Our courses are future-oriented courses here. We have courses like AI-DS, AI-ML, AR, and IIOT; all branches have a bright future, so no worries to study this course if you have interest and want a good package too.

Reality of GURU GOVIND SINGH INDRAPRASTHA UNIVERSITY .
Placements: I am a student of B.Tech ( Batch - Automation and Robotics) of the 2023- 2027 batch. The College is new. There is no pass-out batch, so the placement record is not available. However, according to the notice of placement cell, they provide the opportunity of placement in companies like Amazon, TCS, Flipkart and many others. Many students got internships on campus and also off campus. One of the Students of batch 2021- 2025 got a placement in Microsoft.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome but the campus size is too small. No Gym Facility is available in this college. There is a good indoor game spot complex. For outdoor games, there is a small ground but the Classrooms are fantastic. Fully centralized AC in the classroom, smartboard present in the maximum classroom.
Faculty: The teachers are very supportive and helpful. Maximum teachers are Ph.D. holders. Some teacher's behaviour is not good. They treat you like you are in school but most teachers motivate you to explore many things, join clubs and explore yourself. The curriculum is okay and exams are medium-level.
Other: I am interested in Automation and Robotics. So, I choose this college. This course is new and future-based but technical parts are missing in my course. They need to make changes to the syllabus of the Automation and Robotics course.
