GNDEC CutOffsWhat's new?
GNDEC cutoff 2024 for NATA has been released separately by the participating institutes for admission to the BArch course. Candidates can scroll down to check category and year-wise cutoff trends. A few more updates of GNDEC cutoff are as follows:
- The NATA 2026 application window is open for the BArch programme. The phase 1 examinations will be held till June 13, 2026, and the phase 2 exam will take place on Aug 7 and Aug 8, 2026.

Good college with supportive faculty and fair exams.
Placements: I am studying B.Tech CSE at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, and this is my honest review of placements. The college provides decent placement opportunities, especially for CSE students. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and some startups visit every year. The training and placement cell conducts aptitude classes, mock interviews, and coding sessions, which help during the placement drive. Students who focus on skills like DSA, programming, and communication usually secure good offers. The average package is reasonable for freshers, and a few students get higher packages based on their performance. Overall, placements are good if students stay consistent and prepare well.
Infrastructure: I am studying B.Tech CSE at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, and this is my honest review. The college provides a good learning environment with experienced and supportive faculty. Classrooms are clean, labs are well-equipped, and the library is peaceful with a good collection of books. Campus Wi-Fi works fine, and the atmosphere is safe. Hostel facilities are decent. Rooms are comfortable, and security is strict. Mess food is average but manageable, and cleanliness is maintained regularly. Overall, GNDEC offers a supportive academic environment and a satisfactory hostel experience for students who stay focused on their studies.
Faculty: The faculty at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana is knowledgeable and supportive, especially in core engineering subjects. Most teachers explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts. The curriculum is well-structured, covering important technical subjects along with practical labs, though some parts still feel theory-heavy and could include more industry-oriented topics. The exam pattern is fair, with internal assessment, assignments, and end-semester exams. If students attend classes and prepare regularly, scoring well is manageable. Overall, the faculty, curriculum, and exam system provide a solid foundation for engineering students at GNDEC.

I am satisfied with the hostel faculty.
Placements: Nearly 85% of the B.Tech IT batch at GNDEC were placed in this course.
The highest package offered was 10-11 LPA, the lowest was 3.5-4.5 LPA, and the average was 4.75-6 LPA.
Top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, Just Dial, Accenture, Samsung, Infosys, etc. More than 70 students got internships.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course/department are quite good. We have access to high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the campus, which is very helpful for programmming.
In hostel, the quality of facilities is satisfactory. Rooms are of a decent size with proper lighting and furniture.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and highly knowledgeable. All are well qualified with Masters degree, and most the teachers are done Ph.D. degree
This course is curriculum relevant and made the students ready for the industry work.
The pass percentage is around 80-85% for all branches.

I am satisfied with the college's infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: In our session, 80% of students got placement in local as well as MNCs. The highest package was 8 LPA, and the lowest is around 4.5 LPA. Many other students got internships from recruiting companies. The placement cell is very active in handling all these activities.
Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure with well-equipped labs having various software and hardware. In every department, there is a departmental library, and a central library, which is common for all departments, is also available. There is a Wi-Fi facility throughout the whole campus.
Faculty: Faculty are well-qualified and have good experience in teaching. The teaching quality is also good, they teach subjects according to the syllabus. The course is relevant. The semester exam level is moderate, one who learns the subject very well can score good marks.

Very good and in our college chances of placement is very high.
Placements: Nearly 70% of students choose this course. The lowest average package is 20,000 to 2 LPA after this course. We can apply for government jobs. Companies are more than one and at least very good, and roles given by the college are more than one and also interesting.
Infrastructure: Yes, in our college, Wi-Fi facilities and the library are very good, with AC labs and classrooms. The quality of the mess is also good, but the canteen is not very good. Sports and games are at the state level, and there is also a dispensary for medical problems. Medicine is also free.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good, but semester exams are tough, and the pass percentage is 33%. The course is very good and makes you ready for the industry. This is more interesting if we can have interns in this.

Really nice faculty and atmosphere.
Placements: 80% of students in my course were placed, and the average package offered is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies include Infosys, Airtel, etc. Nearly 90% of students got internships in my course. Roles offered include software engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities and infrastructure, including well-equipped labs, good classrooms, and a pleasant library environment. Hostel facilities are also good, with good food and 24-hour medical facilities. There are provisions for all kinds of sports and games.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is excellent, and the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is appropriate for the students' knowledge level.

I am quite satisfied because of facility campus and environment of college etc.
Placements: Placement opportunities depend on the potential of the students. In the past, there was only one student in 2018 or 2019 who secured a package above 50 LPA. The average package for the current year, 2024, is 6 LPA, offered by Argusoft company in the CSE branch. Teachers assist students by conducting career counseling sessions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite decent. The hostel is well-furnished and clean. The mess food is tasty, healthy, and offers a nice menu. Hostel Wi-Fi has a good range, but campus Wi-Fi is comparatively slower. Overall, campus buildings are well-maintained, seating areas are good, and classrooms are suitable for learning.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-educated, and possess immense knowledge. Many faculty members are listed among the world's top 2% of scientists, which is a great opportunity for students to learn from them. They treat students politely and in a well-mannered way. Overall, the faculty and staff are amazing, but there are some shortcomings, so I would rate the faculty 4 out of 5 stars.
Other: GNDEC offers many cultural fests and extracurricular activities to help students relax. The campus crowd is vibrant, and the environment is lively. They also offer PMS scholarships to minority and backward-class students, which helps reduce their financial burden.

All those students who were enrolled with various Profession Bodies/Institutions, which were duly recognised by MHRD with permanent recognition upto 31/05/2013, stand recognized. In addition to above, two years experience after B.Tech. is mandatory. |
| MCA | Candidates who have completed M.Sc. in IT/ CS with mathematics as a course at 10+2, Graduation level or PG level are eligible to apply. |
| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed Diploma in engineering or B.Sc. (non-medical) from a recognised university. |
