It is an old and trusted college with a friendly environment and knowledgeable faculty.
Placements: 34 percent of students got placed in my course in multinational companies. In the last year, the highest package offered was 7 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. Some students go into entrepreneurship like they are doing an MBA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Microsoft and Amazon. 50-60 percent of students got internships from our course. Roles like design engineer, production engineer, and product engineer are offered here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, but fans are too old in the mechanical department. Wi-Fi speed is excellent and better in the library. Labs are old but nice for very interesting experiments. The canteen food is average. The hostel is good. Medical facilities are excellent, but only 3 days a week.
Faculty: Teaching quality is mind-blowing. Teachers are strict, but very helpful and kind. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready, so students do not face any problem in the industry by studying in a disciplined way. College exams are difficult but possible to pass. The pass percentage is 40 percent in external and 60 percent in internal exams.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in robotics, chipsets, and AI. It should make the syllabus by seeing trends in industries and innovations in the new year. It conducts many activities. Scholarships are also very good. Extracurricular activities are very interesting.

Review of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College.
Placements: In our college, around 50% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. Nearly all students get internships at Sonalika International, Hero Cycles, Vardhaman, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Hostels are good. Mess food is excellent. The hostel offers Wi-Fi, well-ventilated rooms, a washing machine, geysers, and good security. The library is excellent and contains all course-related and post-degree exam books.
Faculty: Our teachers are very knowledgeable. They are very friendly. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is well designed for industry. Semester exams are average.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a design engineer. This course is very useful. Our college organises many events and festivals. The college provides a variety of scholarships.

GNDEC is a well-known college.
Placements: Placements aren't much better. Many seniors in different branches got a salary package of 6 LPA, which is fine for starting. As I am doing mechanical engineering, I am unable to see any scope for getting placed in any known company.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fine. It has several grounds. There are four hostels, diploma departments, and an MBA block. Classrooms are fine.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They help us. They motivate us. About 95% of teachers have good behaviour and know their duties. Preparatory holidays are going on, but they are still taking our classes to complete the syllabus.

Satisfied because good campus and helping teacher having good placement in 2022 senior also help.
Placements: Placement is good for mechanical branch. It has better placement than other branches but lesser than computer Science, but the placement is overall good and package goes upto 8 Lakhs per annum. However our training and placement cell is good. Some big companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Microsoft and other MNC came and offer great package.
Infrastructure: Campus of college is good. Wi-Fi connection is decent but in some areas the connection does not come. Labs, classroom and library is good. But library has problem that their are very less number of textbook for study other books are there for other things but very few of them are interesting.
Classrooms are decent but some of them are too exhausted that its not even possible to sit there.
And especially in mechanical department the washrooms are too far from classes.
Labs have proper equipment and practical is performed in good way.
Faculty: Mostly exam comes from previous year question paper. Teachers are helpful but some of them are not like in mechanical Thermodynamics teachers are not helpful as much as other. Teachers are properly qualified and has great knowledge.
The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry ready. However I think they should prepare us for future technology.
The exams are quite hard and passing marks are 40 percent.
Total 60 percent external exam and 40 percent internal.
In 40 percent 24 marks for Mid semester exam.
10 marks for assignment.
6 marks for attendance .
Other: Their are so many extracurricular activities like their is NCC and NSS, and other society like CML, SAE and other. Basically SAE is good for mechanical engineering.

The infrastructure of this college is too good.
Placements: Around 40% of students get placed every year in this college. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the average is 6 LPA. Companies like Mahindra, Tata, HAL, Airtel, Vodafone, Razor, Amazon, and many more companies hire students. Around 20% of student gets internship from college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, library, seminar halls, and workshops are available. Facilities of hostel changes from one hostel to another as the first year we feel the premiums. Mess, canteen, medical facilities, sports, everything is available.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and they are very helpful. The teaching quality is above average. It makes the students' industry ready, but as covid started things goes a little down. Semester exams are a little harder if you focus in classrooms and little study in hostels will make you pass the exams.
Other: I was interested in robotics as well as in machines. As everyone knows this college produces so many mechanical engineers and it was the best college in Punjab for the mechanical branch.

Value for money college as in current situation B. Tech at the price of 10 lakh is not worth it.
Placements: There are 700 placements in the current year as per the training and placement cell. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Ultratech Cement, Infosys, Accenture, Cummins, Tech Mahindra, SML ISUZU, Vardhaman, Airtel, Sterling & Wilson, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good especially, in the mechanical and civil branches. Current year mechanical and civil might get the NBA accreditation for the mechanical and civil branches which will increase the value of the B.Tech degree and for the person who wants to pursue any foreign studies, this accreditation will help them a lot.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable. They have qualified backgrounds and amazing teaching skills. In my personal view, the teachers are helpful but still, the course is a bit more focused on the theoretical section compared to the practical.
Other: Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College will get the NBA accreditation probably.

I am satisfied with the value of the money being provided.
Placements: For core branches, this college offers a handful amount of opportunities for placements but the starting package would not be a very high grossing one but sufficient and a good package for a core branch member. Our college is good for sports as well as for other extra curricular activities. The campus life being a good exposure for college students, and the faculty members are very supportive and frank.
Infrastructure: The laboratories of the mechanical branch are very well-equipped with every machine in good working condition. The hostels and also very well maintained. The seniors and juniors are given separate hostels making it safe for the juniors to be safe of any sort of friendly or harsh ragging. Although all the seniors are very kind and big brothers to all and no case of ragging has been spotted in this college. Though the hostels are separate but a care taker and a warden is provided to each hostel for 24X7 assistance.
Faculty: Teachers are good and some are strict as well. They guide students on the right path for college and future life. Every teacher demands a minimum of 75% attendance to clear internals that is understandable, and all the classes are being conducted sincerely with a strict and good pattern for examinations that the students check and challenge their capabilities.

The behaviour of the lecturer is very sincere and good to all the students without any partiality.
However, the language is barrier for the other states students, if you are a home state student then it is very for you to adjust here, otherwise the campus environment is very good.
