It's good if you can self-study. Placements are good & you won't face any problems after graduation.

Placements: There are good placement facilities here. Around 60% of the students got placed. The average salary package is around 3 LPA to 5 LPA. Some companies for our course like Mega, Torrent Power, Reliance, etc., visit the campus. Plenty of students got internships at ONGC, which is more than 50% of students. The construction manager is good for our course.

Infrastructure: It has free Wi-Fi and each branch has its different labs, and classrooms are good enough. The library is not much good, and there are very less books in the library. The quality of the hostel is good, it's clean and good. The quality food is served in the canteen for hostel students is good. There is a big ground for sports and games so, students enjoy the outdoor games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are not much helpful and students should do their studies by themselves. Teaching quality is average, not much good. This course curriculum is relevant and it helps to make students ready for industry. The semester exams are not much hard and anyone can crack it by studying it for 2-3 days. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in the construction department. Many things would be improved like they should give more practical skills to students to know about real work. Many events and fests are held every year and there are scholarship programs for students and lots of other activities. Events are also held here.

Review of Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering.

Placements: I am studying in this college for the last 3 years, and I felt there are many opportunities for students studying in this college. Many students have achieved high packages like 3 to 6.5 LPA and above. Packages are offered based on the skills students have. Companies like Ultracet, BYJU's, Ambuja Cement, etc., come here. For BBA and B.Com students, companies like ICICI Bank, Jio Communities and other multinational companies visited here.

Infrastructure: Our college provides very good hostels for both girls and boys. Facilities like Wi-Fi, cool water, etc., are available. Students who came here to attend their GU exam also appreciated the infrastructure.

Faculty: There are different faculty for different subjects. They all are masters in their fields. They are well-educated and interact with students well. They use both projectors and boards to teach. They also the modern equipment to teach whenever needed.

Other: I am happy with the college. Our college has a cricket ground, and I also played there. NSS and NCC units are available and are also ready to serve our nation.

Placements: Placements are to be provided by any college. Our college provides good placements for its students. Different companies visit our college for placements. Capable and eligible students can apply for based on their qualification. Packages offered are also good.

Infrastructure: Our college has an awesome infrastructure. There are farms surrounding the college, and so we can get a peaceful atmosphere. Good facilities are provided in the college for students to study well. The college is located in a good place. Overall, the infrastructure is the best part of our college.

Faculty: Our college has faculty members have done masters in their fields. They also have a good knowledge of our course. They give us a good explanation so that we won't get any doubts. They conduct tests in class to check the improvement status of students.

Other: One of the best parts of our college is that it organises different types of functions and also a tech fest on the campus.

One can choose IT or computer branch for placements, but not civil branch.

Placements: None of the core civil companies visited the campus for placements of the civil branch during my tenure. However, many students of IT and computer branches were placed from our batch and previous batch. There are many opportunities for IT and computer science branches, but the civil branch has few opportunities. The previous year, civil companies were less, and also, some students were placed in those companies.

Infrastructure: During my tenure, we were not allowed to use phones in the class. Wi-Fi facility was provided for only faculty members but not students. Labs and classrooms are good. But, there were no smart classrooms in the beginning. New year celebration and sports day are one of the best things in college. Attendance of every day is sent to parents, so parents get to know if their ward has attended the class or not.

Faculty: I am a civil branch student. Faculty members in our college were highly knowledgeable during my tenure. They were also helpful. But, only a few faculty members were available in the last semester. Currently, there are less amount of faculty members for the civil branch. There is no knowledgeable faculty to provide proper knowledge of engineering to students.

Other: The college is located in the best place. The environment is healthy and has less noise pollution. The college celebrates all Indian festivals.

This is the best college for studies.

Placements: Placements in our college are average when I was in my first year, but now, the placements are very good. Our seniors had very good placements after completing their engineering. Mostly, the placements are provided to computer science, information technology, automobile, civil engineering and also electrical engineering students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. It is improving day by day. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, large classrooms, a huge library and sports ground. The canteen is small. Stationery is also available.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very intelligent and qualified. There are 7 to 8 faculty members in every branch. They are very helpful. Many of them have completed their master degree and have teaching experience in other colleges.

Other: The college organises a technical event, sports day, cultural activities and industry visits. Other activities like blood donation camp are also arranged.

Provide good knowledge, and events are damm good but I don't like the canteen.

Placements: Currently, I am studying in 7th semester of civil engineering and the placement is not come. Placement in my college is very poor. Hardly, 1 or 2 companies will come to the college and pick 2 students from the whole batch. In our civil department, last year our seniors receives the placement and 2 students had been selected in that placement and the package is around 2.2 to 2.5 lacs. College has a placement cell and they worked very hard to call up the companies to our college. College not provide internship but those students who is very eager about the internship college allowed that without any hesitation.

Infrastructure: Our college has a attractive infrastructure and the entrance is very beautiful. The classrooms are very well planned. Every classroom is in very good condition and well ventilated. There are sufficient number of benches available for students and projector are also there. College contains subject related lab also like physics, MS, structure, earthquake and many more. The equipment is also in good condition however, some are old but it is not effects. College has a huge ground in front of the campus and also provide good parking facilities. Hostel and canteen is in average condition. In last, I am not faces any infrastructure related issue yet. Wi-Fi is not provide by the college the wi-fi is only for faculty members not for students.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and cooperative with the students. Faculty members are either B.Tech or M.Tech someare also Ph.D. They provide very good knowledge to the students and deliver good support to the students. Courses are completed in times and study level is very good.

Other: Campus contains very good number of students. College arranged event like techfest. Festival related celebration are also made like for independence day, janmashtami, garba and also sports events.

It has a composite strength of 4000 students, 300 faculty members and 50 non-teaching staff.

Placements: The students who have more than 6.5 CGPA from the civil engineering got placed. The highest salary is Rs. 30,000 per month, the lowest salary is Rs. 10,000 per month and the average salary is Rs.20,000. There are many companies visited the campus.60% of students got internships from college. There is a placement cell for students.

Infrastructure: HGCE transcends the boundaries of time and location to provide a learning environment for all. The institution which upholds modern and state-of-art infrastructure. It goes a long way in facilitating impeccable services for their students as well as the staff members. Various blocks are spread over 60 acres. Smart classrooms, active learning halls, well-equipped seminar halls with international standard, modern conference hall, research park, placement division, training, hospital, canteen and transport facility are available in this college.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very simple and easy to learn. Teaching method was very simple, and projector through studying is provided. There are 50 students per 1 faculty member. Industry visits are organized by faculty members. Many courses are available like B.E (bachelor of engineering), M.E (master of engineering) and MBA.

Other: Many events are organized. Students get scholarships. Garba Ramzat event, annual function named as Abhivyakti, tech fest more etc. The Wi-Fi facility provided.

It has the potential of becoming a good college.

Placements: The placements in our college are very less. I am a civil engineering student, and in our field, the number of placements that come is less. Sometimes, some companies which are not related to the civil engineering firm, even they take civil students to their company. Even though some get a placement from HGCE, and the salary will be less.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good. It has a lab, but we haven't used every machine in the lab. The college has Wi-Fi facility, but the students are not allowed to use it. The students are not allowed to use laptops and mobile phones in the class and outside the class.

Faculty: If talking about the civil field, the faculty were good regarding the teaching, but the not much industrial exposure was provided to us. The quality of teaching is average. All they made us do it was to write huge assignments which have no use for us. Even the people in the admin also don't know that when will be the mid-sem going to happen. The staff are worst here.

Other: The college has an event called Abhivyakti.
