Good infrastructure and great teachers are available.
Placements: 90 per cent of students get placed in the college, the numbers can be fewer or more, it depends. The highest package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top companies like Tatvasoft, Argusoft, and Simform recruit. There are various roles that can be offered depending on your own skills.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi are in all the departments. In the library, there is Wi-Fi. In the hostel, there is a LAN that can be connected to through a laptop.
Classrooms are good with great infrastructure. The quality of food in the hostel is not so good. I won't recommend eating from there. Sports are great.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, too. Teaching quality is great for the theory part. There is some difficulty in practical knowledge. It doesn't make them industry-ready fully, but it makes them partially. Semester exams are of a moderate level, they can be easy or hard.
Other: Nightlife is best. Practical knowledge should be improved. Events are great, fest too. The campus crowd is great. Scholarships are other.

If you are not able to pay high fees, then you should definitely take admission in this college.
Placements: In the last 2 years, 70% of students are placed from the college. The highest package is 22 LPA. Many companies come to recruit students from our college, including Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, L&T Infotech, TatvaSoft, and Cognizant. The most common roles offered to students, particularly those in IT and Computer Engineering, include Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Web Developer, and other similar profiles.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure according to fees because it is a government college. This year, all new computers are added in the college. The Computer Engineering Department at VGEC is well-equipped to support the academic curriculum and practical training of students. This lab is specifically designed with high-end computers and networking software like Wireshark and Packet Tracer for hands-on experience in networking.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, and they are all very responsive and supportive. The semester exam is conducted by GTU, so it is medium in difficulty. The pass percentage is 33%. The faculty at VGEC are generally considered highly qualified, with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. The curriculum aims to make students industry-ready by including subjects like "Programming for Problem Solving" from the first year. It also includes subjects on Artificial Intelligence and provides opportunities for hands-on projects and industrial visits for senior students.

College is decent and good. Placement is good. The only problem is not tech fest or anything.
Placements: Mostly, the students preparing for web development get placed easily in our college. 4 LPA is the average package offered by companies. By the end of the 4th year, 99.99% of students in my course, which is computer engineering, get placed in companies, and our placement portal is also good.
Infrastructure: Our lab has Wi-Fi and AC, and the library also has lots of books. The hostel is also good, and the food is decent, but the only problem is the water issue, which we face in the hostel many times. Other classes also have projectors. Our college definitely needs a good canteen.
Faculty: Some faculty members are great, and some just explain like it's their duty and not happiness. Mid-semester exams are good, and the quality of the questions is also nice. Faculty gives us tasks like preparing a PPT and doing a presentation, and so directly helps us with interviews.
Other: I'm interested in coding, so I chose CE, and I'm not regretting it, but our college doesn't have any fest, so it is a must.

Good placements and facilities with scope for improvement in practical learning.
Placements: I am from the Computer Engineering batch (2024-2028) at VGEC, Chandkheda. Around 65-70% of students from our course are placed, with top companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini visiting the campus. The average package is around 3.5 LPA, and the highest is nearly 8 LPA. The placement cell provides training and support, especially for CS and IT branches. Other branches have limited core placements, but good students do get placed with effort.
Infrastructure: Computer Engineering department at VGEC has well-maintained classrooms, Wi-Fi access, and updated computer labs. The central library is spacious and provides a good range of technical books. Hostel rooms are average, with basic facilities. The food in the mess is decent but repetitive. Sports grounds are available for cricket, volleyball, and basketball. Medical facilities are limited but available on campus.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified and helpful, especially in core subjects like DBMS, OS, and DSA. The curriculum is based on GTU and is moderately aligned with industry needs, though practical exposure is limited. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 85-90%. Regular internal assessments and lab work help in preparation.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering at VGEC due to my interest in coding and problem solving and the growing IT industry. The best part about the course is the strong foundation in core subjects and supportive faculty. More industry focused practical exposure and updated labs would make it better. The college organizes tech fests like VISION and cultural events are lively. The crowd is diverse and friendly. VGEC has good public transport connectivity, and scholarships are available for reserved and economically weaker students. Campus surroundings are peaceful, with basic shops nearby.

Infrastructure and facilities are very good.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placed. The companies are TCS, Simform, Radix, Surekha Technology, and many more. The roles offered to students are java developer, web developer, project manager, etc. The highest package of 2024 is around 9 LPA to 10 LPA. The lowest salary is minimum 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very simple due to the government non-AC classes. College Wi-Fi is sufficient for liberal work if you want high internet then it's not the case where you can work there. Hostels are also good for staying. Sports group is also there.
Faculty: Teachers are providing the best education at their level. But course is very old to learn which is not used for your placements that course is also there. Exams are very easy to pass, just read the book before the day of the exam you will get very good marks.
Other: I would say that college is better for your growth, just focus on yourself and do your best. Professors are very helpful for your project-related discussion.

I'm satisfied with faculty and good placement in 2022.
Placements: 80% of students got placement from our college. The highest package is around 12 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are TatvaSoft, Enfochip, and Infosys.
Infrastructure: Our college provides us a big and clean classrooms. They also provide us with free Wi-Fi and modern labs. Our college also provide hostel for students who are living far away from the college. Our college canteen is the worst I will never recommend any student to eat in canteen.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and most of the professors are IIT passouts. Our course curriculum is very relevant it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult. Our college take exams only two times every semester, one is mid-semester and one is an external exam.
Other: I chose this college because my college is considered a top government college in my state. I chose computer engineering in B.E. Our college does not organize any events and fest. I get scholarship from state government.

My experience at the college.
Placements: In our college, the placement was done by the college, and good companies like TCS, Hitachi, L and T, Byju's, etc., visited. This year, 300 students from our college were placed in companies. Every student received a package of 6 LPA. The minimum SPI required for placement was a 7 CGPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good, though it was old. There were different blocks for different branches, like CE, EC, etc. We had a very nice computer lab. The quality of the mess food was not very good. We had one central library where all books were available. There was a game area for games and sports.
Faculty: Faculty members were well-educated, they graduated from IITs and other colleges. Our college conducted mid-semester exams, and the university conducted the final end-semester exams. If we failed the mid-sem exam, we had to give a re-exam in the college. The college faculty members giving us training for placements.
Other: I was in the VGEC 2027 pass-out batch. I was in the 4th semester then.

As you have completed your diploma in CSE, so you will get admission in second year directly through lateral entry. To get admission, you need to appear for the lateral entry entrance exam.
