Last year, I was dissatisfied with the placements and faculty. Good environment for studies.

Placements: The HGCE creates placement on the campus. In my class, 3 students got placed in VLSI company and 2 got placed in the electronics company. But, most of the time, HGCE organised marketing type placements. And, the salary package of my friend is around 10,000 per month. The HGCE also provides placements in other branches like the mechanical engineering, computer engineering, automobile engineering, and civil engineering. In my senior batch, some students got placed in other companies. And my senior friend got placed in ISRO as a junior engineer and with a high package.

Infrastructure: The Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering has a large campus. In the campus, there is a canteen, large parking facility, large playground, and also a hostel. For every branch, there are separate classrooms, labs, workshop, computer lab, library, washroom, etc. In my department, there are many classrooms, electronic lab, and computer lab. The classrooms have large space, benches, projector room, etc. And in the computer lab, all computers have updated os and software. In the library, there are many books of all the engineering fields, novels, biography, etc. And, the library has large space.

Faculty: In the Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering, there are faculty members for all the fields, but the electronic engineering, at the beginning of my tenure, has many faculty members. But, today, in the electronic field, there is only one faculty. All the old faculty have good teaching skills and field knowledge. I also learn many things from them. They help us in solving the difficulties in the studies.

Other: It has many activities like the industrial visit, sports days, yoga, cultural programs, parties, etc. It also has a good management staff. The college also organises the techfest and quiz program and other events.

Other: My college is the best college in compararision to other colleges. One will definitely enjoy these days. The faculty is very much cooperative and friendly with students. The college conducts sports meet, annual function etc. and also encourage students to take part. And the college provides all the facilities to the students. Placements are average in the college.

I had a very bad experience in this college, and I don't like it.

Placements: Companies don't come here for placements. The companies which come here are marketing or management consulting firms. The college is good. One can get a job in marketing. The college is not recognised for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good because the campus is huge. They continuously develop the infrastructure. You'll find a great change in the infrastructure during your tenure.

Faculty: All the faculty members are good. They complete the syllabus on time. But the qualifications of faculty are quite low. During your projects, you can't get technical knowledge from them.
