Q:   Are there any PGs and hostels available close to Heritage Institute of Technology?
A:
The closest PG available to Heritage Institute of Technology is R-Mondal's Boys' Hostel which is 1-2min walking distance from the college GATE. There is another hostel named MPC which is also near college GATE just 2-3min walking distance. Now most of the boys go to Modern Boys' Hostel which is 10-15 mins walk from college. Also, you can go to RR Plot which is also famous among the college students. RR Plot is a bit far from college, but it is good if you want groceries and other things nearby.

Just an average college but you can join.

Infrastructure: The institute has an underground library with ample books from the curriculum to literature in different languages. It also houses a digital library. Every classroom has a chalkboard and a smart board, equipped with a projector. Sports such as cricket and football training are provided. Student-run social groups are plenty, the institute has its own clubs - drama, dance, sports, Science, language, etc. The hostel is only for girls, and the last entry time is 8:30 PM.

Overall review of my college.

Infrastructure: First of all, there is no on-campus hostel available for boys. There are some hostels for boys outside the campus, and all are in very poor condition. Wi-Fi is available in all the hostels, but the food they provide is not worth it. There are multiple sports and games opportunities, though, like interdepartmental sports and all.

Review of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: Our college does not have a hostel inside the college campus for boys, but for girls, it is inside the campus. For boys, there is only a hostel for 28 1st year boys. The cook is not so good. The college does not provide any facilities.

Average placements and bad campus life. No fests are conducted.

Infrastructure: Labs are good and the library is spacious but overall the infrastructure is average. We don't have any boys hostel it's only for girls hostel. Wi-Fi has no speed it's better to use 5G mobile data and Wi-Fi range is also very small only in our main building, ground, and first floor. Bare minimum medical and sports facilities are provided only for the sake of providing them.

I am satisfied with the good environment and faculty members.

Infrastructure: Labs are good. Wi-Fi works well, but sometimes it's slow due to heavy use. The library contains books related to our courses, but many other books are also there. Girls' hostels are on campus, but boys' hostels are outside of campus. A bus is provided for hostel students. The canteen is good, and the medical facilities are also appreciable.

I am moderately satisfied with the infrastructure.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi. Our class is on the 5th floor, so we don't get Wi-Fi from there. The library is good, silent, and clean for studying. It has a wide variety of books. Labs are average and clean. Classrooms are clean with a few benches.

The best thing about the college is teachers who support us in everything.

Infrastructure: The campus is the best among private colleges in Kolkata. It has an AC library and laboratories for departments like ECE and CSE. Classrooms are well-organised, and most lack air conditioning. Wi-Fi is not good on the campus. The canteen is really good. Sports and games are well played.

In short, if students want to do a master's, then they should join this college.

Infrastructure: In classrooms and the library, the infrastructure and facilities are decent and above average. It does not provide hostels for boys, but girls' hostels are quite good. It has a good mess and good sports facilities.

The Heritage Institute Of Technology review and summary about the college all total.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is pretty choppy around the campus. Only the library has decent Wi-Fi (about 20mbps). You'll find just one switchboard in any classroom, and it is generally reserved for projectors. Even the library doesn't have any switchboards, so taking your laptop, especially for gaming, is impossible. Girls have decent hostels, which are quite expensive, plus the food is very average and sometimes even bad. There are no boys' hostels on the campus. The canteen is quite expensive, but the food is p...

It's okay to get admitted here if other options are close.

Infrastructure: Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, offers a Wi-Fi-enabled campus with smart classrooms, but they are not used often. It is well-equipped with labs and a big library. The library is really good. Hostels are clean, according to my friends, medical aid is available, and sports facilities support indoor and outdoor games with many competitions. However, there are no switchboards around the tables in the classroom to use laptops while plugged in.

Overall a decent private college.

Infrastructure: Not in hostel, but have heard that it’s not the best. Infrastructure is decent, as most facilities are available like air-conditioned library, playground, tennis court, basketball court, canteen, and others. The infrastructure is old but usable and okay.

It’s an average college, means a decent amount of hard work can get you a placement.

Infrastructure: There are sports facilities, but they are kept on 2nd priority. After school gets over, the playground and sports rooms are handed over to us, which means it is primarily meant for school. Some sports facilities are good, like basketball and archery, and some are very poor, like badminton, volleyball, and football.

In the first semester, I had high expectations from the college.

Infrastructure: The college campus is not too big. No boys’ hostel is available. Wi-Fi is there but only in the library. Sports facilities are not up to the mark. First-year students can take their laptops to the library (but not everybody follows this rule). Some classrooms are good, and some are tiny.

Review of Heritage Institute of Technology.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good compared to other private colleges in Kolkata. However, some facilities like table tennis, the swimming pool, and the playground belong to Heritage School, though students can access them after 3 PM. The canteen is good, and the classrooms are decent. The campus does not give a typical school-like vibe.

The college is good enough, but the placements are not as good as you might expect.

Infrastructure: No hostel is available for boys, but girls’ hostels are inside the campus. I don’t know why they are not allowing even first-year boys to stay in the hostel, especially since there are no nearby essential shops around the college. The infrastructure is also not as big as you would expect from a private college.
