The primary eligibility requirements for admissions to BSc courses at HIMT Chennai are that candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCM stream with at least an aggregate of 60% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the admission process, the college accepts valid IMU CET scores. There are different eligibility requirements too, that candidates must follow before getting admission, such as candidates' age should be: General: 27 years, OBC (NCL): 30 years, SC/ST: 32 years (from the commencement of the academic session).Candidates must be medically fit, including eyesight and hearing, as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical examination) rules, 2000, and need to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by a D.G.
