Interested candidates must fulfil specific criteria to be eligible for admission into the BA programme at HCAS Chennai. One such criterion is the age limit. As per the guidelines, the maximum age limit for admission into the BA course is 21 years as of 1 July of the year in which admission is sought. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC/ST/BC/MBC/DNC and women candidates may allowed an age relaxation of three years beyond the age of 21 for admission into the BA programme at HCAS Chennai. In addition to the age criterion, candidates must also meet other admission requirements, such as academic qualifications.

Admission to the BA course at HCAS Chennai does not require an entrance exam. Candidates can secure admission by meeting the eligibility criteria. The selection process is based on merit, and candidates must meet the minimum educational qualification to secure a seat. The application process can be completed online through the official website. Female and reserved category students are eligible for age relaxation as an exception.
