After pursuing BCom from HICAS, students can opt for various career paths as the course's purpose is to offer students a broad variety of managerial competence in subjects like accounting, finance, administration, and taxation. HICAS BCom course duration is three-year spread across six semesters for all the specialisations. Hence, HICAS BCom curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Throughout the course of the programme, students are required to study Modern Indian Langusge, Ability Enhancement Compulsory Course, Discipline Specific Course, Generic Elective, AEE and value-added subjects. HICAS BCom syllabus varies according to the specialisation selected by candidates. At the end of the second semester of HICAS BCom, students are required to go for Internship/ Industrial Visit or Mini project for some specialisations.

Hindustan College of Arts and Science provides hostel facilities both for boys and girls. Over 2024 students are accommodated in both hostels. The hostel has a mess facility with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Also, Hindustan College of Arts and Science has a central canteen and six cafeterias inside the campus.
