Dissatisfied because of no faculty support and zero placement in core branches.
Placements: Placement was not so good at my time. None of the core companies came. Mostly BPOs came, thus most of the students were not interested including myself. We migrated towards GATE preparation. Companies that visited did not have a good reputation to be remembered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Had different first year building. The mechanical lab was best among other branches. Had a big park in the center. The canteen was average. Hostel room just old and had no air-conditioning. The library is also good. Classrooms were big and spacious with good ventilation.
Faculty: Faculty members were just pass outs and not so helpful. Most of the qualified and knowledgeable faculty members left the college during our time. The teaching methods were also not so good. The course curriculum used were all MTU related. The faculty members were not adequate thus mostly we were required to be merged with others.

Other: It’s a good college, focusses totally on studies but not focused at all on the co-curricular activities. Its best thing is that it contains hi-tech workshops and it stands at a good position among all NCR workshops of mechanical. The institute contains 3 colleges namely ideal institute of technology, ideal institute of mgmt. and technology and ideal school of architecture.

Other: The college is overall, an average college. The infrastructure is good with three types of faculty. 1-the angry birds- these faculty members can be seen one in every branch. They are good teachers but very volatile. I’d recommend you to stay away as much as you can. 2- The Role models- Although college lacks these kind of faculty members. But these rare gems can shape your career the way you want. Stay under their shadows. 3- The frustrated one- they teach you the syllabus in time and then they don’t know you. Commonly found in most of the branches. Just don’t bother about them. The crowd - It takes some time to tune in with the crowd. But once you get them, everyone is helpful and fun to be with. The seniors are pretty cool and fun loving. A bit of awkwardness is still there. Placement place is good, but I recommend you to have knowledge before you sit anywhere.

This college is the best in everything except for placements.
Placements: There are no placements at all. If you want to do this course for a government job, then go for it. Almost 5-6 companies visited and conducted an interview in the year 2017. If you have cleared the interview, then they ask you to join from August, but in August, they don't respond.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Ideal Group of Institutions is very good. I would rate 9.5 out of 10 because the classrooms and library are of next-level. Anywhere on the campus, you can use free high-speed Wi-Fi. There are very good facilities compared to other hostels.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are also good. They are always ready to help, and they are very concerned about students. They help even on week off days. This is a technical course, so this is enough to make students work in industries, and all the practicals are conducted.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in this field from childhood. The best thing about this course is that if you work hard, you can be wealthy and intelligent.

The BTech CSE syllabus is incomplete without regular lab classes and internship programs because of the importance of programming, software development, and AI and ML knowledge required in the CSE field, which cannot be taught only through theory classes.
