It is a decent college, I think, with average placement, average faculty, & average infrastructure.
Placements: I estimate that around 40% of the students at my college secure placements. The highest package offered was 36 LPA, while the lowest was likely around 3 LPA. As for internships, quite a few students manage to land them. But overall placement is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at my college is decent, though not exactly excellent. However, it does provide all the necessary facilities that a student requires to pursue their course. But in my opinion, I don't think the infrastructure of my college is good.
Faculty: Teachers at my college are actually quite good. They are extremely helpful. They really do prepare students for the industry. Passing in this college is very easy, anyone can pass. The passing percentage of my college is 50%. You have to score atleast 50% to pass.

I shouldn't have come here. Decent infrastructure, bad hostels, and very average placement.
Placements: The exact percent of students placed is a mystery, because here they follow the unethical practice of banning you from placements, meaning if you're getting a 4 LPA package. You think you deserve more. If you say no, they blacklist you, meaning you won't be allowed to sit in the placements anymore, and you will also not be counted towards the no of students who applied for placement, so their selection percentage goes high. The highest I know of is 36 LPA off campus, and 24 on campus by Amazon, the lowest it goes down to 3.6 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi capped at 30 Mbps with only 3 devices supported. Labs are good, classrooms are decent, and the library is also good. The hostels are bad. The food goes from decent to incredible frequently throughout the week. We. We only have 3 canteens and 2 restaurants. The canteens only sell a limited amount of stuff. You can't even find soap or toothpaste on campus. The medical facilities are very limited. The ambulance is often used as a taxi for the rich kids. For sports, we have good stuff: football, volleyball, basketball, cricket, and an indoor room for chess, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are a mixed breed. Some will help you, some won't care, and the average is that they don't know much about what's going on in today's world. The curriculum is outdated, especially regarding coding, and it moves all over the place. There is no linear path that goes step by step; it just bounces from one topic to another. The exams are kind of difficult, especially because the passing requirement is 50 percent; below that, you fail, and also they used to take 4 exams in total, which they have reduced to 3 per semester.
Other: I chose this course as my last option. The best thing is that if you're good, it's easy to stand out because of the low-quality crowd here. To improve the course, it would be better if they just did a mid sem and an end sem exam, and also changed the curriculum to be more up to date with today's standards. Events are mid, it doesn't matter if you take part or don't, this college is not for making connections, if you want connections, you should go take part in other colleges' events.

Best for CSE students with good placement offers.
Placements: The placement cell is very good. The placement percentage varies from batch to batch, as it depends on the students' knowledge. Bringing companies to the university is the responsibility of the university, and they fulfill it efficiently. One of the highest packages in my branch, Cybersecurity, is 50 LPA. Recruiters include big companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, and many more.
Infrastructure: I'm basically a day scholar, but my friends have reviewed it, and it is really good. You can't make fun of the rooms, as most people/students do. The sports facility on the campus is quite good, with regular tournaments held on campus and at the hostel. Gym facilities are also quite good, with a trainer provided.
Faculty: Teachers help when students are willing to learn. The curriculum is very efficient, but obviously, you need to work harder on your own if you want a good placement. You also need to get certifications, which faculty of the college will guide you on.
Other: My course is cybersecurity, and I chose it because I want to learn ethical hacking. My college is guiding me for it and for placement as well. Events and fests occur here with huge celebrations, and small events take place on a regular basis.

Everything is good and well, but local students case inconvenience and problems.
Placements: Software Developer, Data Analyst, Web Developer, and roles in cybersecurity, AI, and cloud computing. Product-based companies also recruit for roles like Android App Developer and Ethical Hacker. Additionally, students are placed in roles related to logical advisory, robotics, and IoT services.
Infrastructure: Everything is good. But sometimes in rainy season, the grounds get full of water, and sometimes the net services are also not good, as in past experiences, I have suffered. Sometimes insects are found in hostel food. But all over, it is good and well, but I prefer to take a PG or a flat.
Faculty: All the faculty are supportive and helpful. Faculty at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Delhi-NCR campus, Ghaziabad, play a crucial role in shaping students' academic and professional lives. They are responsible for developing and delivering curriculum, assessing student learning, and providing feedback. Furthermore, they guide students in their career paths, facilitate industry collaborations, and promote research and innovation.
Other: There are too many local students who are very undisciplined and not safe for girls.

It is an average college but much more expensive.
Placements: In the 2024 placement session, the highest package awarded is 18 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Almost 60% of students get placed within campus during the placement drive. The top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft, TCS, and JP Morgan. Around 70-80% of students got internships in companies like Microsoft, Deloitte, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible to all students on campus in either classrooms or library or hostel with good speed. Labs are well established with most labs having capacities of up to 60 students with high-speed internet and fast computers. Some labs have IMac installed and the rest of the majority are Lenovo. Classrooms are not so good looking but every classroom has AC installed. The library has access to almost every book a person would want from fiction to study-related. Hostels are well established providing students with average quality food. It has sports facilities and free medical assistance.
Faculty: Teachers are all PhD qualified from different universities all across India. They are pretty helpful to students in solving doubts or understanding different concepts. Some parts of the course curriculum are not relevant like they teach Biology to CSE students which is not needed and practical practice is less and theory is more making students less ready for the industry. Exams are pretty easy, which makes students get good grades easily with a pass percentage of 50%.
Other: There are 2 types of fests 1 is cultural and the other is technical both taking place in different years so a student can attend 2 cultural fests and 2 technical fests in their college life. Connectivity is good as people from Delhi, Noida, Meerut, and nearby all come to this college.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and the good placements in 2023.
Placements: Roles active in this college are data analyst, software developer, web developer, android app developer, cyber security guard, ethical hacker, logical advisory, cloud computing services, AI and ML, robotics, and IoT services in various fields of the sector.
Infrastructure: In our college, the Wi-Fi facility is good, and for labs, there is a center called Vendhar Knowledge Centre (VKC), which is well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned, with 15 labs equipped with well-functioning computers and updated software. The library is excellent, offering many books both online and offline, with an online website called Library OPAC to check book availability. Classrooms are decent; hostel facilities are good, with both AC and non-AC rooms available. Mess food is decent and edible, and the canteen food is good and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects they teach, and the teaching quality is really good. Some faculty members are extremely helpful to the students. The curriculum is very relevant to the industry. Subjects like DAA, DSA, and DBMS in the second-year syllabus are particularly helpful for career and placement opportunities. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are quite easy if you review the teachers’ notes and PYQs. The passing percentage is 50%..

Disappointing review of SRM.
Placements: In the B.Tech CSE batch around 60-70 percent of students were placed the highest package was 10 LPA the average was around 3.5-4 LPA and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS Infosys Wipro and Cognizant. Many students secured internships in startups or mid sized IT companies.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with smart boards of decent quality but the AC in our room is outdated and even after complaining to the dean it has still not been fixed. The labs are nice. The library does not have air conditioning making it almost impossible to study there in Delhi's heat. The hostel food is terrible and the rooms are average. Sports facilities exist but are not well maintained.
Faculty: Most teachers are average and not very helpful. Some are knowledgeable but lack effective teaching methods. The curriculum does not focus on programming and includes unrelated subjects like Biology and Chemistry. It is not fully aligned with industry needs.
Other: I chose B.Teach because I was interested in programming and teaching. The best part is learning coding and working on minor projects. However, the course includes too many irrelevant subjects and lacks a focus on real-world applications. There is only one fest, Rubaroo, which happens every two years. Campus life is dull, with strict rules and limited access to good infrastructure. Connectivity to the nearby area is poor. Overall, there is a lot of scope for improvement.

SRM honest review. I have been honest throughout the review.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech AI ML batch. Around 80-85% of students get placed in my course. The highest package ranges from 32-40 LPA. The average package ranges from 6-8 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and AI-focused companies like Fractal Analytics and Quantifi. 70-80% of students managed to get internships in my course through platforms like Internshala or LinkedIn in Zoho, TCS, and other companies. Top roles offered in my course are SDE, machine learning, full stack developer, and cloud/DevOps engineer.
Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi across the campus. Labs are well-equipped for AI/ML. There are good systems for coding. Classrooms are modern and have two air conditioners per class. It has projectors and smart boards in each class. The library is huge, with all the required books and novels. It has a perfect place to sit and study. The hostel facility is also good. It has basic decent rooms with Wi-Fi connection and regular cleaning. The food in the mess is okay. There is a variety of options. The canteen has better fast food varieties. There are good facilities for sports and games like football, cricket, badminton, and also many indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, friendly, well-qualified, and very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is good, and some can be more engaging by involving real-world examples in their way of teaching. The course curriculum relevance is solid and industry-oriented, covering key AI/ML topics, but could also be enhanced. Semester exams are tough, but manageable with good preparation. The pass percentage is high (80-85%).
Other: I chose AI ML because I am really into AI and how it's shaping the future. The best thing about the course is hands-on learning, real-life projects, knowledgeable faculty members, and industry-relevant curriculum. Things to improve are more industry projects, live internships, and better practical exposure. The campus life is cool. It organises events and fests. It has a diverse crowd, good connectivity, and a green campus. Scholarships are also available.

SRM GHAZIABAD is one of the most preferred campuses for SRM. The campus is very well developed in terms of infrastructure. You need to have a rank between 9500 - 10500 for admission into CSE branch. Usually, more than 50,000 candidates appear for the entrance exam every year.
