Review of IIIT Allahabad College.
Placements: Around 85% of students find placements. The maximum salary package is a whopping 83 LPA, the average hangs around 24.5 LPA, and the median is about 16 LPA. Companies like Atlassian, Qualcomm, Postman, PhonePe, Google, Oracle, Adobe, Media.net, and Goldman Sachs are the leading recruiting companies. As for internships, core ECE students are looking at about 25%-30%, and overall, around 70%-80% of students land internship offers. Most of the roles available tend to be in software, by the way.
Infrastructure: The hostel, along with the mess, runs in a sufficient manner. Classrooms have Wi-Fi, and the LAN can be accessed from the hostel rooms. Basically, you are able to get everything that you want on the university grounds. The classrooms are airy and equipped with projectors. There is a big stadium for cricket and football, apart from an indoor stadium for badminton.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, but you must go to class regularly. Everybody passes except for those who barely come to classes. The curriculum is not very well-structured, and students have to figure out the concepts themselves in order to be ready for the industry. The difficulty level of the semester exams is just right, so if you want to pass, you will have to get yourself prepared well.

My experience at IIIT as an ECE student.
Placements: In the Economic year 2025, placements were around 97% for B.Tech Courses, the highest package was around 12 LPA, while the average package was around 33 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Microsoft, Google, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, DE Shaw, Deloitte, Adobe, and Zepto.
Infrastructure: The campus is enough for the graduates as it is not very crowded. All sports are available indoors and outdoors. However, the maintenance of some sports facilities lags, like the basketball court, badminton, etc. Labs are good, fully centralized. A.C. Timings for labs are until 8 p.m., and libraries are open until 11 p.m. The library has a good collection of books relevant to your courses. Classrooms are decent, not much to say, but on the good side.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but it's more up to you to understand their teaching style, it's a perspective-based answer. Mostly good, but you have to put in your own efforts for placements and academics. Courses are relevant, but didn't get much into depth; you have to study on your own.
Other: This course is for students who are confused about which career to pursue, whether it be core ECE or other fields. The college has a good environment for those interested in coding.

College is hectic. A good branch is IT-BI for placement and less hectic classes.
Placements: 95% students were placed in ECE branch. Highest package was something around 86 LPA, and lowest was 3 Lacs (per annum). Average package was 28 LPA. Mainly, IT students have good companies. For ECE, there are fewer companies. 30 to 40 students get an internship. Others take an outside internship.
Infrastructure: Hostels are okay. Classroom, labs, and library are good. Wi-Fi facilities are good. All classrooms, labs, and library are full of ACs. There is a night canteen at hostel, and campus has a cafeteria, Nescafe, and Amul. Mess food is average. Medical facilities are not that good. Sports and games facilities are nice.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Course curriculum is relevant. Sometimes semester exams are hard. At the start of semester, some courses are difficult, but when we study, they become easy. And some courses are easy, but they have fewer credits. So it doesn't affect CGPA that much. Pass percentage is 40% as per government.

Good seniors. Satisfactory faculty and good placements.
Placements: 98.5% of students got placed this year. The other went for higher studies and prepared for government services. The highest or the lowest package is 1.23 crore per annum and 9 LPA, respectively. The average is around 21 LPA. Some of the companies are Qualcomm, LG, Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Codechef, Zepto, Goldman Sachs, Delloite, Flipkart, BCG, and UBS. Approximately 75% got an internship, and the rest are doing their project work. The top roles are SD1, data analyst, testers, and full-stack developer. More than 200 companies visit IIIT each year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is poor, but LAN and Ethernet services are good. Computer Labs are generally open 24/7. The library has timings from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Classes are usually for all batches and start from 9:50 AM and end at 6:30 PM. There are also breaks of 2 hours and 1:30 hours. Hostels are fine, better than many other institutions. The quality of food is satisfactory. Medical staff are there for certain timings, but there are a few issues during nighttime. There is a SAC where students generally play snooker, chess, and table tennis.
Faculty: The teachers are good and qualified, but the knowledge imparted by them is not at an industry (placement) level. The professor usually teaches on PPTs, but there are certain staff who follow the standard method of marker and whiteboards. The course curriculum is satisfactory. You need to work hard, it does not stand with industrial knowledge. The college follows the NEP curriculum, so the difficulty is average. 40% marks are needed in all subjects to pass and earn that much credit in the course.
Other: The semiconductor market is going to flourish in some years as the government is providing many aids, and many electronics companies from China are shifting their manufacturing to India. This creates a massive opportunity for engineers to get a good placement offer. The course is moderate to easy, and students find it interesting to go to labs and design different circuits. The labs are not open regularly. If it has some fixed timings, then it would help each one of us. There are three fests Effervescense, the cultural fest, Asmita, the sports fest, and Aproksha, the technical fest.

Great faculty, facilities - IIIT Allahabad.
Placements: The placements of our college were good enough for the students who are studying in our college. Around 96% of the students got placed. The average package is 29 LPA, 67 is the highest domestic package offered, and the highest international package that was given was around 1.4 crores per annum.
Infrastructure: IIIT ALLAHABAD B.Tech - Electronics and Communication has lecture halls/classrooms and labs that have air conditioning. The hostel is also well managed, clean, and equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. The mess food is also decent and good. The canteen food is very good and has a lot of variety.
Faculty: The faculty of ECE is well qualified and has good research experience, and many are PhDs. Teaching is concept-focused with practical experience and project-based learning, so you are qualified and well fit for internships and jobs, and you won't have any problems.

Placements & infrastructure are good but hostels can be improved. In short, it is average.
Placements: Placements are great I found many of my seniors who are placed and very satisfied with their placement. Many International companies visit our campus. In 2023 96.12% of our college students were place which is quite impressive the highest package offered was 82 Lacs for an ECE student.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the hostel are very poor, and the quality of food is getting worse day by day. Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are good but can be improved. Medical facilities are bad, with unqualified doctors. There is only limited time for consultation, and no proper medicine is available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, but it is better not to rely on teachers. The difficulty of exams is good, meaning they are not very easy. The pass percentage is more than 40%. Attendance is very important recently, two students were punished for marking proxies.
Other: The reason for choosing this course is that it is the only good option left for me, but I don't regret it. I am loving the course. It was tough at the beginning, but it's going well now. The extracurricular activities are not that exciting.
