Really good college, good placement, but it has quite a tough curriculum.
Placements: Around 90-94% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 1.25 CPA, and the lowest package is around 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, Flipkart, Meesho, Swiggy, and Zomato. Around 40-45% of students get internships. The top role offered is Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: We have everything in our college that is needed for proper study. There are well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, and air-conditioned classrooms. The hostels are very good and affordable. The mess food is also good, although it is average at times. The mess follows a fixed menu with good food and also provides a special dinner every month.
Faculty: Teachers are good, helpful, and highly qualified. They have great teaching quality. The curriculum is very relevant. The exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 35%. Teachers are skilled and professional. They teach according to market trends and provide proper guidance and information.
Other: There is a growing technology trend, which is why I chose Information Technology.

Not satisfied with the teaching faculty, the best placement in 2025, with good infrastructure.
Placements: As far as I know, in the previous year, 96% of students were placed in companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Adobe, Goldman Sachs, Uber, and many more, which led to an average package of 33 LPA, median 18 LPA and the highest package to 120 LPA (I don't know about the lowest). In terms of the percentage of students placed, (422/431), i.e., 96%, something with more than 150+ companies visited.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are far better than those of many colleges. On campus, you will get a basketball court, squash court, common ground for cricket and football and a student activity centre which has a table tennis table, 8-ball court, carrom, chess with health center and an ambulance facility. In the hostel, we have 4 charging points and 1 ethernet point, which is efficient.
Faculty: Teaching faculty, as I believe, is not as good as IIT's, but they are far more knowledgeable and have a great teaching quality, which is helpful. Curriculum is well balanced and divided into 8 semesters with 2 major exams and 2 minor quiz and all of them have a passing percentage.

Placement-oriented college, don't expect anything else.
Placements: Placements this year in our batch were above 90%, with the highest being 1.4 CPA and the lowest being 8 LPA. Don't expect top packages unless you are really intelligent and/or lucky. The average is around 25 LPA. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Intuit, Walmart, Quadeye, NK Securities, UnifyApps, Media. Net, etc., recruit. Some even came for sales positions. Almost 80% got internships in the IT branch, companies such as Google, Microsoft, UnifyApps, Walmart, LinkedIn, etc., came for it. The highest paying roles were for Quant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average at best. Wi-Fi works, but the proxy is very problematic. Classrooms are good, but not well-maintained. There are not many options for food inside the campus, with the canteens being very hygienic. We have a medical store that gives reimbursement on request. Sports facilities are decent with a big ground for football, cricket, volleyball, tennis court, squash room, outdoor badminton court and indoor games SAC building.
Faculty: Most teachers are well qualified, but few of them know how to teach, as is the case with most colleges. The course curriculum is relevant and may be better than most colleges, but it is quite rigorous. Semester exams are quite difficult, and you need to study for at least a week before the exams. The pass percentage depends on the course's difficulty. Generally, people except for 2-3 pass almost every course.
Other: I chose this course because I have been interested in it for a very long time. Best thing about my course is placement assurance and relevant courses of my interest. I think the course should have had fewer subjects and less syllabus, currently, it is too paced. 1-2 major events happen per year. Effervescense is the annual cultural fest, Aparoksha is the tech fest, and Asmita is the sports fest, mostly, they get cancelled or postponed to next year. The crowd is average, some really talented people are there. Campus is located in a rural surrounding, so don't expect many things to explore here.

The college is very good if you are interested in coding.
Placements: Placement is very good this year. About 98–100 percent placement rate. In our college, almost all big companies come such as Microsoft, Amazon, Walmart, etc. Here, the average package is almost true as shown by Google, about 33 LPA. There is very little chance to get a job in core electronics..
Infrastructure: Every facility is good, but we have to compromise a little bit with the mess facilities. The Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA) is one of India’s premier institutes focused on information technology and allied fields, known for its strong academic culture, modern infrastructure, and competitive environment.
Faculty: Examinations are conducted properly and faculty are also good. 75% attendance is compulsory. But here college life is hectic enough. I think they will improve the facilities, as the mess food is very tasteless. Food contains many items but has zero taste.
Other: Events and fests are properly enhanced. But very few scholarship schemes are provided by this college.

Great placement and modern infrastructure, decent academics, average hostels and limited sports.
Placements: IIITA has very strong placements, with about 95%-98% of B.Tech students placed each year and packages going above 1 crore. Top companies like Google, Microsoft and Amazon visit the campus, and many students get internships and roles such as SDE, Data Engineer and Analyst.
Infrastructure: IIITA has modern, futuristic infrastructure with high-speed Wi-Fi, top- level labs, smart classrooms and a good library. Hostels are mixed- BH5 is very (mainly for 1st year & PG students), BH1 and BH4 are decent, while BH2 mess quality is average but manageable, canteens are not great. Medical facilities are basic, and sports facilities are limited, so it's not ideal for students very focused on sports.
Faculty: IIITA has knowledgeable faculty and an updated, industry-oriented curriculum, though teaching quality varies by professor. Exams are moderately tough and concept-based, so regular study and self-effort are important to score well. To pass a subject, you usually need a minimum of 4 marks out of 25 in the mid-sem and at least 16 marks in the end-sem, along with meeting the overall internal and total marks criteria.

Small campus residing in bigger dreams.
Placements: IIITA has one of the best placement selection ratios in non-IIT colleges. Also has one of the best average and median packages. Few people get multiple offers ranging from 30LPA to 1+crores. Many students start getting an internship before they finish their second semester. A large majority get a paid internship by the end of their 3rd year. So, the curriculum is made less hectic for the 3rd and 4th years and is hectic for the 1st two years.
Infrastructure: Even if the campus size is not large, it's decently maintained. The facilities are a hit or miss, like the watercoolers are really bad, and you either need to outsource it or find a good cooler on your floor. Medical facilities are just basic, and you get an insurance under which you'll be covered for your OPD and medicine from the pharmacy by just providing your roll number and contact details. Wi-Fi is, as usual, a hit or miss, but for any complaints, we can file them on the ERP portals too.
Faculty: The curriculum is good and is more relevant than that of other colleges. Branch change is offered only after 1st semester, and the cutoffs go crazy high. For 2025, it was 9.55 CGPA. It seems easier said than done. The 1st semester subjects are tough but manageable if and only if you're consistently studying. Nobody studies with the professors, so only YouTube helps the students. Courses are better offered at IIIT Allahabad, and that's one of the reasons for the better placement scenario.
Other: Everyone here came to IIIT Allahabad because of the lucrative opportunities and packages that they offer. The students here are sharp and find a way every time to distract you from being better than others. So, you need strong willpower and a good circle of friends to do better here. Don't overstress and participate in things that you love. We have 3 annual events, which bring joy to the IIITians for a month. Do experience the effervescence here :D Although you might hear about college life being blamed, but its sufficient in my opinion. It's on the outskirts of Prayagraj.

Placements: Placements in our college are top-notch. Most of the students take admission in this college for placements only. The lowest package is around 10 LPA, and the highest is 1 crore+. The average goes around 30-35 LPA. Almost 90-95% students get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good enough. The campus is big enough, and there are various beautiful places such as the rock garden, the pavilion, the cafeteria, etc. Also, the academic buildings are good enough. But there can be some improvements in hostels.
Faculty: Faculty experience varies as some professors are very good, helpful and patient, while some are not. The curriculum is nice for Information Technology department, almost all core CS subjects are included, and you have study Physics only in 1 sem. Exams are good, sometimes hectic.

The college has good placements and wonderful infrastructure, but too hectic academics.
Placements:
Last year more than 90% of students got placed. This year the number has increased. Top recruiting companies are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Zomato, Flipkart, Sprinkler, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships. Top roles offered are SDE, software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are top-class facilities available for my course, such as a computer lab and library. The campus includes smart classrooms, a smart library, and Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. The quality of the hostel is not that good, it has decent rooms with well-ventilation. You can bring your cooler. The quality of the food is not good, but it works for me. There are almost all games played like lawn tennis, squash, snooker, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are highly qualified. Their teaching quality is not like everyone could understand. Some of them are very good but some of them just are like roots. The course curriculum is very relevant as we started coding on day one and no unnecessary subjects are there. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Exams are quite tough and not so easy to pass. Many students get backlog exams every semester.

Hi, As per my knowledge, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in B.Tech 2nd year course.
