There are some things that are not good, but they are minor things. Overall, college is excellent.

Placements: At IIIT Allahabad, 90% of students get placed every year. The college places more priority on coding, which is one of the main reasons for its excellent placement record. This year, the highest package is over 1 crore, and the lowest package is around 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. Many students get offers from Google.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are good. Two persons are accommodated per room, but single rooms are also available, with different fee for both of them. Wi-Fi facility does not work properly, and the food quality is very bad. Non-veg food is not provided in the first year. The medical facilities are good.

Faculty: All teachers here are from IITs and have a PhD in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is excellent. The curriculum is updated every year, which helps make students industry-ready. In the semester, they conduct quizzes, a mid-sem exam, and an end-sem exam. These exams are very difficult.

Guidance for IIIT Allahabad.

Placements: Approximately 90% of the students are placed in the current year. The highest package was 1.06 CPA from the IT-BI branch. The lowest package is 26 LPA, and the average package offered is 26 LPA. Top recruiter companies were Airtel, Samsung, Oracle, American Express, Adobe, etc. Approximately 56% of the students got internship. Full sack Web developer, Android developer, and software engineer are the major roles offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus and LAN facilities in the labs. The classrooms and labs have centralized AC systems. The library contains all the relevant books for the whole course and also has a has a nice amount of sitting capacity for students with AC facilities. The hostel offers good-quality food with proper hygiene. Canteen services were present previously, but not right now. Medical facilities are good. Sports equipment is present in good quantity.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good; they are well qualified and experienced, while others don't even know their subjects. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. In the first year, they are introducing web development and DSA as major subjects. Semester exams are not that difficult; they are moderate. Approximately 90% of students get a pass.

Other: It chose IT at IIIT Allahabad as it offers a good placement package. The best thing is the placement offered and the learning during college life. Fest is good. The coding culture is best here. The campus surroundings are not that developed. All kinds of private and government scholarships can be availed of. Campus connectivity is good.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics, a language, one from the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology /Technical Vocational subject, and any subject other than the above four subjects in year 2024, 2025. Candidates must have secured the mentioned aggregate marks of these five subjects in the Class 12th examination (PwD candidates should score at least 65% marks) or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12th examination conducted by respective Boards. Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2026, are also eligible. Hi, As per my knowledge, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in B.Tech 2nd year course.

If you will secure and under 20000, then you will get triple IIIT-Allahabad, otherwise there are no chances if you belong from general category.
