The college has good placements and wonderful infrastructure, but too hectic academics.
Placements:
Last year more than 90% of students got placed. This year the number has increased. Top recruiting companies are Google, Apple, Microsoft, Zomato, Flipkart, Sprinkler, etc. Almost 50% of students got internships. Top roles offered are SDE, software developer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: There are top-class facilities available for my course, such as a computer lab and library. The campus includes smart classrooms, a smart library, and Wi-Fi is available on the entire campus. The quality of the hostel is not that good, it has decent rooms with well-ventilation. You can bring your cooler. The quality of the food is not good, but it works for me. There are almost all games played like lawn tennis, squash, snooker, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, etc.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. They are highly qualified. Their teaching quality is not like everyone could understand. Some of them are very good but some of them just are like roots. The course curriculum is very relevant as we started coding on day one and no unnecessary subjects are there. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Exams are quite tough and not so easy to pass. Many students get backlog exams every semester.

Great campus I've ever seen (IIIT Allahabad).
Placements: IIIT Allahabad is really very good at placements, which attracts more students to this college. According to previous statistics, around 98 percent of students were placed. The highest package offered is around 55 LPA, while the lowest package is around 8 LPA and the average package is around 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Microsoft and Google. Every student on our campus gets the chance to do internships and roles offered in our branch include front end developer and back end developer.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on campus are truly amazing. The classrooms and library are very well designed and highly established, keeping students comfortable while studying. The hostel facilities are well constructed and neatly maintained by the management, which makes students feel more comfortable while staying on campus. The mess food on campus is not that great and needs some improvement, while the canteen food is satisfactory but could be improved a little. The medical facilities are excellent, as the campus has a well equipped medical center.
Faculty: The faculty on campus are very skilled and while not all, many of them are student friendly. They help students in their academics when needed and the quality of teaching here is excellent, making it easy for students to understand. The course curriculum is designed by the heads of the respective departments and is structured in a way that minimizes academic burden. Lectures and exams are well scheduled, making our campus's curriculum great. The semester exams are not that difficult; a student can easily pass with very limited preparation and the pass percentage here is 5 CGPA.
Other: The course I am pursuing here is IT and the main reason for selecting this course is its better placement opportunities. I am very much interested in this course. The course is well designed and has a very good curriculum; no major improvements are needed except for the food served in the mess. IIIT Allahabad hosts a good number of fests and events, with around 3-5 events taking place every year. Regarding campus connectivity, it is really great, allowing students to easily travel to their hometowns or outside the campus using various transport options. The campus also provides a wide range of scholarships to students based on their performance in semester exams.

Guidance for IIIT Allahabad.
Placements: Approximately 90% of the students are placed in the current year. The highest package was 1.06 CPA from the IT-BI branch. The lowest package is 26 LPA, and the average package offered is 26 LPA. Top recruiter companies were Airtel, Samsung, Oracle, American Express, Adobe, etc. Approximately 56% of the students got internship. Full sack Web developer, Android developer, and software engineer are the major roles offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus and LAN facilities in the labs. The classrooms and labs have centralized AC systems. The library contains all the relevant books for the whole course and also has a has a nice amount of sitting capacity for students with AC facilities. The hostel offers good-quality food with proper hygiene. Canteen services were present previously, but not right now. Medical facilities are good. Sports equipment is present in good quantity.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good; they are well qualified and experienced, while others don't even know their subjects. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. In the first year, they are introducing web development and DSA as major subjects. Semester exams are not that difficult; they are moderate. Approximately 90% of students get a pass.
Other: It chose IT at IIIT Allahabad as it offers a good placement package. The best thing is the placement offered and the learning during college life. Fest is good. The coding culture is best here. The campus surroundings are not that developed. All kinds of private and government scholarships can be availed of. Campus connectivity is good.

Good placements, average faculty, and not good mess quality.
Placements: MY college has placement statistics equal to those of an IIT. Let me list last year's statistics, keeping in mind that it was during the top recession. In IT, out of 223, all were placed with an average package of 26.17 lacs. My college is visited by top companies like Amazon, Google, etc.
Infrastructure: The labs, library, and classrooms are all equipped with Wi-Fi. All labs, the library, and classrooms are fully air-conditioned. The hostel provides good facilities for living, and we can take a cooler in the summer for the hostel. However, the quality of the mess food is not that good. Basic medical facilities are available 24/7 on campus. The campus has one football and cricket ground, cricket nets, a basketball court, tennis court, and an SAC building for indoor games like table tennis and snooker.
Faculty: The faculty members have much expertise in their field and come from a very good background. For example, the professor. The style of teaching may differ from professor to professor; one could teach from slides, and one can teach from whiteboards. The course curriculum is good and relevant to the industry, and it not only includes essential courses like OS but also courses like Cloud computing for the interest of students. The difficulty of exams depends on professors, and the marking scheme is relatively fair in our college.

Completely satisfied with this campus, really good infrastructure, and placements.
Placements: Our college always has 100% placement.
The highest package was 82 LPA and the average was 32 LPA in 2023.
The top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Zomato. My course was information technology, and 98 percent of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure was very good; it contains all facilities like a canteen, cricket ground, volleyball field, and basketball field. Our college provides 24-hour Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms were very big. The library is open till midnight.
Food quality is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful; they graduated from top colleges and they teach in a simple way that every student understands. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams were moderate, not tough; to pass, you must score 30% in internals, 15% in mid-semester, and 40% in end-semester.
Other: Our college contains three fests for every effervescence: a cultural fest, an Asmita sports fest, and an Aproksha technical fest.

Hi, As per my knowledge, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT Allahabad) does not offer admission through Lateral Entry in B.Tech 2nd year course.
