I recommend this college to others.
Placements: For our course, 90% of students are placed, with packages ranging from 40 LPA to 50 LPA for the highest, lowest, and average salaries. While top recruiting companies and the percentage of students who got internships from our course and the companies they interned at need to be specified, the top roles offered in our course should also be listed.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department (e.g., Wi-Fi, Labs, Classrooms, Library) is excellent. The quality of the facilities in your hostel, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports and games is good and excellent. .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is friendly and good. This course curriculum is relevant and does make the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not very hard and are easy, with a pass percentage of 90% and above.

Good infrastructure, freedom inside the campus, average placements, a good crowd, decent mess.
Placements: The college site says about 66% and that's correct as far as I have heard from the seniors. The highest package offered is around 60 LPA (on campus) and 84 LPA (off campus). The average is around 9 LPA as stated on the website. Oracle was the top recruiter not sure for which course.
Infrastructure: Since it's pretty new, the infrastructure is decent to good. Wi-Fi ranges from place to place but the speed is usually around 80 Mbps as per my observations. The labs are very good and well-functional. There is a computer lab for CSE and DSA courses and an electronics lab for ECE courses. The food in the mess is decent too. The main canteen is not too good tho. There are a few shops that compensate for it. There's a doctor's clinic and a whole building for indoor games however the college's sports ground for outdoor games isn't good.
Faculty: Most faculty members are helping, and few are a bit of a hassle. The course curriculum is pretty relevant to the industry requirements as there are no old-age physics and chemistry subjects in the first year. Semester exams are easy to ace if you go through your faculty's PDFs.
Other: The cultural clubs are pretty active, since it's new the fests are also gaining visibility and inviting new artists. The area around the campus within the radius of 3 km isn't really useful but it's pretty well connected to the main city areas of Hubli and Dharwad so you can explore them. The campus' in time is 9:30 pm while you can freely roam inside the campus whenever you want as there are no hostel timings.

Promising placement but infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: Placement is good but this year it hasn't been that good. Off-campus, the highest salary package offered is 84 LPA. Most companies prefer CS students and electrical students also get good salary packages. In recent years placements have been quite average, but this year it is very low. According to the senior's information as placement cell didn't do up to work.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good but I think the 4-sharing rooms are a little conjugated. All buildings are new so they are well-maintained. Full campus is clean and clear but sports complex can be improved as there is only one complex in which all sports are played in SMA.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Course curriculum is very good as other college follows C-cycle or P-cycle but here they directly focus on core CS. It helps students to be focused on placements and coding culture is also good. Exams are also less only end-sem and mid-sem.
Other: Fest Habba is good, and the HR Conclave held in 2024 was also good.

The infrastructure and climate of the college are amazing. Placements are increasing exponentially.
Placements: Almost 75% of students get placed, with the highest on-campus 46 LPA and the off-campus placement at 80 LPA in Uber. The median package is 8 LPA, and the average package is 10 LPA. The lowest is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Infosys, Oracle, Nvidia, Amazon, Datainsight, and many more. Almost 75% of students get internships at like IBM, Infosys, Amazon, NSA, Google, and in early startup companies. The top roles are SDE Software Development Engineer and Research Intern at Microsoft and IBM.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is excellent. Wi-Fi facility is also very good. The library is good as well. Classroom AC is not available, but fans are available. The hostel accommodation is for 4 students in a single room. The food has improved quite as compared to the past. The medical facilities are good. Sports and games facilities are available and are supported by the college for inter.
Faculty: Almost 90% of teachers are helpful, and 70% are good qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very good, and near Bangalore gives students opportunities to become industry-ready. It is not much difficult, but if you attend class daily, you will pass the exams easily.
Other: Near Bangalore provides lots of opportunities for CSE, so I chose the CSE branch, and I love coding. You can make money if you have good skills and a learning mindset. The coding culture is not so good in the college. The college provides events, fests, connectivity, and scholarships. They support extracurricular activities, and the climate is so good, that the weather is amazing.

Life on campus of IIIT Dharwad.
Placements: I am still in 1st year, I don't have much information regarding placements. All I heard from seniors and other faculty members is that the placement rate is good compared to other private colleges. Recruiting companies are Nvidia, TCS, Infosys, Oracle, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. College doesn't have any problem with students sitting for placements. It depends on the company's criteria. For example, Nvidia set 7.5 CPI minimum.
Infrastructure: Each room has 4 students, an almirah for each student, fans, and power outlet for basic needs. The mess food is not good at all, only breakfast and evening snacks are somewhat tasty. According to the price of mess, the food is not good. The hostel is located on the campus. Rest the Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are pretty good in shape.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are friendly with students but there are always some exceptions. Sometimes, it feels like the professor is speaking Chinese and when we question them they will be offended. On the other hand, some professors will explain every topic twice and they don't go ahead until everyone says yes. For exams, some professors may take 50 marks some might take 80 and maybe 100. Course curriculum is relevant to our branch and one or two might not pass the exams.
Other: There is a big cultural fest that is held in February known as Sangeet. Students from other colleges also come for this fest. There are so many cultural clubs for music, dance, photography, art, etc. Giving so many opportunities to explore for students. We have technical clubs too. There is an event known as Rush 4.0, the biggest technical gaming fest of our college with games like BGMI, Free Fire, Valorant, and CS2.

Modern campus with a good curriculum and facilities, but there is scope for better research.
Placements: 86% of students got placed. The highest salary package is 82 LPA, the average is 11.2 LPA, and the median is 9 LPA. Amazon, Uber, Google, IBM, and Oracle are the top recruiting companies. Around 60-70% of them got internships for roles such as software development engineer, Full Stack engineer, and DevOps engineer.
Infrastructure: IIIT Dharwad offers smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, and a rich library. The hostels are secure with decent facilities, while the mess food is average and the canteen is basic. Medical care is available on campus, and sports facilities support both indoor and outdoor games.
Faculty: Faculty at IIIT Dharwad are generally helpful and qualified, though the research culture feels limited. The curriculum is modern and industry-oriented with a strong project focus. Semester exams are manageable, and pass rates are high, usually above 90%.
Other: I chose this course for its strong focus on teaching and its industry-ready curriculum. The best parts are the projects, coding culture, and modern labs. It needs more research exposure and faculty engagement. The fests are lively, the crowd is diverse, the campus is green, and there are scholarships and active clubs.

No, it is not likely that you can get into IIIT Dharwad through JEE Mains with EWS category rank of 50315. It requires much less rank then this. Kindly look for NIT or other government colleges.
