IIM Indore admissions 2025 are open for various courses. Interested candidates can check and apply for their desired course on the official institute's website. A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for admission to the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.
- The IPMAT 2026 application process for admission to the 5-year Integrated MBA programme is expected to begin in Feb 2026. Additionally, the IPMAT 2026 exam is scheduled for May 4, 2026.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

PGP is the flagship course of IIM Indore. PGP is accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (AMBA, UK based accreditation agency). Spread over six trimesters across two years, it is also inclusive of a summer project of an eight-week duration. Additionally, in the second year, the course covers electives, namely Information Systems, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, OB & HR, OM & QT, Economics, Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences and Strategy. Apart from the flagship PGP course, IIM Indore also offers a PGP in Human Resource Management (PGP HRM) to the students.
IIM Indore offers an Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). It is a five-year programme which includes BBA and MBA. Below is the IIM Indore eligibiltiy criteria for the integrated BBA programme:
- Candidates should have been born on or after August 1, 2005 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ ST/ PwD Category will be given)
- Aspirants should have passed Class 12 or HSc or equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 to apply for IIM Indore IPM course.
- Candidates should also have passed Class 10 or SSC examination.
IIMs consider two kinds of cutoffs for admission to their PGP programmes – qualifying and final shortlisting cutoff. The overall qualifying CAT cutoff required is 90 percentile for the General category for admission to the PGP course. For the PGP HRM course, the overall qualifying CAT cutoff is 70 percentile for the General category candidates. However, the final shortlisting cutoff percentile for CAT for IIM Indore reached up to 98 percentile in the past years which shows how rigorous it is for a student to get admission to this institute. BBA at IIM Indore is a part of the institute's dual degree programme in Management. The institute offers IPM which is an integrated BBA + MBA course. The first three years of the course are dedicated to the BBA programme. For the first three years, domestic applicants must pay INR 5 Lacs per annum. Hence, IIM Indore BBA fee is INR 15 lakh for three years.
For the final two years of the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), candidates must pay the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) fee at IIM Indore prevailing at that time. The course fee includes lodging, access to lectures, internet facilities and library. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is subject to revision and hence is indicative.
The Indian Institute of Management Indore has been ranked nationally by various ranking bodies. After the Class 12 exam, the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive admission tests. The IPMAT exam typically has a moderate difficulty level. The three areas of the IPMAT question paper are Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs), Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is evident that QA (Math) makes up a significant portion of the IPMAT curriculum. This test measures your speed as well as your ability to select and answer the correct questions. Exam content is dominated by higher level maths. Over 60% of all QA questions typically come from the Class 11 and Class 12 curricula. A significant percentage of IPMAT questions are from the calculus and class 12 maths.
The mode of Indian Institute of Management Indore course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, CAT,1 Indore, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exam. Those who qualify for CAT must appear for the WAT, PI, and other selection rounds. Then candidates will get an admission call according to their marks. Then students must report at the allotted and selected college.
The admission cycle for the flagship PGP courses of IIM-I starts in the month of August for the upcoming year's MBA admission batch. IIM Indore has adopted a three-stage selection process for admission to its PGP and PGP HRM programmes, which is as follows:
Eligibility criteria
All applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified for PGP admission. A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) is required to apply for PGP course.
Shortlist for PI
Only those aspirants satisfying the eligibility requirements will be shortlisted for PI round. Sufficient number of candidates for PI from each category will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on composite score. Candidates shortlisted for PI will be intimated in the month of January 2023. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for PI.
Final Selection
After completion of the above selection rounds, category-wise merit list is generated based on final composite score and provisional admission offers are made accordingly.
Yes, candidate can get into IIM Indore at 70% in Class 12. But mere 12th marks are not sufficient for MBA admission. Therefore, candidate must attain a really good score in CAT exam. IIM Indore CAT Cutoff 2024 has not yet been released. Looking at the Cutoff ranks for the past 3 years, the CAT Cutoff percentile is expected to be 97, for the General AI category candidates.

Candidates seeking admission to the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management of IIM Indore should submit their application online. Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5,900 including GST. Candidates can pay the application fee via any of the online payment mode.

- A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD)
- Candidates, appearing for the final year of their UG degree and waiting for results can also apply. However, if selected, admission of such candidates will be provisional depending on the submission of a pre-final certificate signed by competent authorities of the previous institute/ university, the latest by June 30 of the year of admission
