Especially designed for experienced professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is an intensive one-year residential programme offered by IIM Indore. This course is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) London (UK). The programme is spread over five academic terms in the IIM Indore campus and one International Immersion module at one of the top-ranking international universities. EPGP consists of six segments.
IIM Indore admission to EPGP course is based on entrance exam score. The applications open from September as per last year admission dates. Check below IIM Indore EPGP eligibility and selection criteria:
Selection criteria: GMAT + PI
Eligibility: A pass in four-years bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for EPGP course.
Candidates who have completed three-year bachelor's degree and master's degree with at least 50% aggregate each can also apply for EPGP course.
Aspirants with 50% aggregate in Integrated five-year course or other programmes of similar duration can also apply.
A minimum of five years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on the application deadline date is also required.
Note:
- Mention only full-time paid work experience after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree.
- Do not include training/project work done as an integral part of any curricular requirement.

PGP is the flagship course of IIM Indore. PGP is accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (AMBA, UK based accreditation agency). Spread over six trimesters across two years, it is also inclusive of a summer project of an eight-week duration. Additionally, in the second year, the course covers electives, namely Information Systems, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, OB & HR, OM & QT, Economics, Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences and Strategy. Apart from the flagship PGP course, IIM Indore also offers a PGP in Human Resource Management (PGP HRM) to the students.
The answer is both yes and no. IIM Indore admission for the postgraduate and doctoral-level Management courses, i.e., PGP, PGP-HRM, FPM and E-FPM programmes is completely based on CAT scores followed by a PI round. The percentile of CAT for IIM Indore has gone up to 98 percentile in the past years which shows how rigorous it is for a student to get admission to this institute. Additionally, there is no information about the college giving admission to MBA (or PGP) courses without CAT.
However, for those who wish to get into the institute without CAT, IIM Indore also offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management for which candidates need to take IPMAT after Class 12, which is followed by an interview. IIM Indore conducts IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT) to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics for admission to IPM. EPGP is a full time residential programme with an International module, which requires the candidates to visit one of the top global B-schools. The International module is a compulsory module for all the participants. After successful completion of the one-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), a candidate will receive a degree in Master of Business Administration.
After the Class 12 exam, the Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) is one of the most competitive admission tests. The IPMAT exam typically has a moderate difficulty level. The three areas of the IPMAT question paper are Quantitative Aptitude (MCQs), Verbal Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude (SA). It is evident that QA (Math) makes up a significant portion of the IPMAT curriculum. This test measures your speed as well as your ability to select and answer the correct questions. Exam content is dominated by higher level maths. Over 60% of all QA questions typically come from the Class 11 and Class 12 curricula. IIM Indore CAT cutoff 2025 was released only to the candidates who attempted the CAT entrance examination.
According to the estimated cutoff percentile based on the previous years' cutoff trend, the General AI category students would need to secure 97 percentile both overall and sectional to qualify
