IIM Indore EPGP Eligibility & Highlights 2025
Especially designed for experienced professionals to enhance their knowledge, skills, and capabilities, the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) is an intensive one-year residential programme offered by IIM Indore. This course is accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) London (UK). The programme is spread over five academic terms in the IIM Indore campus and one International Immersion module at one of the top-ranking international universities. EPGP consists of six segments.
IIM Indore admission to EPGP course is based on entrance exam score. The applications open from September as per last year admission dates. Check below IIM Indore EPGP eligibility and selection criteria:
Selection criteria: GMAT + PI
Eligibility: A pass in four-years bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate is required to apply for EPGP course.
Candidates who have completed three-year bachelor's degree and master's degree with at least 50% aggregate each can also apply for EPGP course.
Aspirants with 50% aggregate in Integrated five-year course or other programmes of similar duration can also apply.
A minimum of five years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience after graduation as on the application deadline date is also required.
Note:
- Mention only full-time paid work experience after obtaining a Bachelor’s degree.
- Do not include training/project work done as an integral part of any curricular requirement.

The answer is both yes and no. IIM Indore admission for the postgraduate and doctoral-level Management courses, i.e., PGP, PGP-HRM, FPM and E-FPM programmes is completely based on CAT scores followed by a PI round. The percentile of CAT for IIM Indore has gone up to 98 percentile in the past years which shows how rigorous it is for a student to get admission to this institute. Additionally, there is no information about the college giving admission to MBA (or PGP) courses without CAT.
However, for those who wish to get into the institute without CAT, IIM Indore also offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management for which candidates need to take IPMAT after Class 12, which is followed by an interview. IIM Indore conducts IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT) to test the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning and proficiency in English and Mathematics for admission to IPM. Shortlisted candidates further need to appear for the PI round wherein they will be judged on the basis of their confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills and knowledge.

Yes, candidates can get admission in IIM Indore without CAT for two programmes: Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) and Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP). Admission into IPM is based on the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test), followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). Admission into EPGP is based on GMAT or GRE score.
CAT application fee is INR 2700 for General candidates and INR 1350 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee amount is to be paid online at the time of application form submission.
PGP is the flagship course of IIM Indore. PGP is accredited by the Association of MBAs, London (AMBA, UK based accreditation agency). Spread over six trimesters across two years, it is also inclusive of a summer project of an eight-week duration. Additionally, in the second year, the course covers electives, namely Information Systems, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, OB & HR, OM & QT, Economics, Communication, Humanities & Social Sciences and Strategy. Apart from the flagship PGP course, IIM Indore also offers a PGP in Human Resource Management (PGP HRM) to the students.
The application fee for IIM Indore differs from course to course. For IIM Indore MBA admissions, candidates need not to apply anywhere else other than CAT. The application fee for CAT is INR 2,400 for general category.

The academic profile is evaluated again at the time of preparation of final merit list. Under the flagship PGP (MBA) course, clearing both sectional and overall parameters turned out to be the most competitive initial filter. IIM Indore PGP cutoff 2026 Round 1 shortlisting stood at 90 percentile overall for the General AI category.

IIM Indore Integrated MBA admissions are through the IPMAT test. The institute does not offer direct admissions for the programmes.
